This girl is a powerhouse in the goat ring. Kenna Gay is from Oklahoma where she grew up playing sports until she fell in love with goats. With help from Darbie Ross she has been able to make herself a dominant force in the goat world and will continue to do so as she continues her show career.
Recorded after the first day of a Next Level Livestock Camp, all three of us were pretty drained but we were eager to talk about the show industry and everything that comes with it even after a full day of working hogs. Thats what I love about this industry, it evokes passion in whoever allows themselves to be truly invested in it. I am lucky to have friends like this and I am happy that I am able to help the younger generation achieve their goals.

Then he went on to Texas Tech to be a National Livestock Judging Champion!! I am proud to call him a friend and I am always honored when I find myself judging along his side from time to time

Karson and his family are well known in the hog barn across the country. I met him while I was serving on the NJSA Junior board and from 10 years old I knew this kid was going to be super competitive and driven. Turns out my instincts weren't wrong. Karson has a year left in his show career after 15 years in the ring. Im excited to see what the future holds for him.

Eel River Ranch is a hidden gem in-between a lush forest of old redwood trees and the pacific ocean. Clint Victorine has built a company that produces enough organic grass fed beef for 200 independent retailers as well as all the Whole Foods in the Southwestern states and Hawaii. Tor Sorenson is the ultimate "man behind the curtain". For 30 years he has ran a successful Jr. livestock association, SAILA. While as the Executive Director he has seen transitions within our industry from footsteps away. I just can't get over how much change he has seen, and will see throughout his term as Executive Director.
He maintained a dynasty as a judging coach at ole BUCO JUCO. Now he works at United Animal Health. This guy needs no introduction.

Firecracker doesn't even come close to explaining the personality of Tana Simmons. I have found many people in our industry that are truly passionate about helping youth as much as they can. Tana is at the top of that list. I don't think I have met a single person who enjoys helping kids with their projects as much as Tana does. He went on to play a major role in the Wyoming Jr. Angus Association, and later attended Casper College. Thats where Ty and I met and quickly became friends. If you are in the hog industry and haven't heard of Russell, get out from under the rock you've been living under and meet him. He's one of the most genuine and friendly people I've ever met. I have found that it doesn't matter who you are, Russell is going to treat you with the upmost respect. His family has a rich history of homesteading and developing in the state of Wyoming. Now, a Montana resident, he works with farmers and ranchers everyday to help support their operations.
