I started playing music as a DJ in 1991. At first in Potsdam, later on in Berlin in a variety of clubs – more than I can even remember. Since that time I've included lots of different styles in my sets, like house, techno, breakbeat, D&B, downbeats, etc.. It was a great honour to play together with so many excellent Djs like Rok, Alec Empire, ED2000, Tanith, Thomas P. Heckmann, Beroshima, Mijk van Dijk, Copasetic, Hell, Rene, Bass Dee, and so on. Visiting so many clubs and open airs in Germany gave me allways a big pleasure. After my daughter was born, I settled a little to focus on my family and job, but I still love to create monthly mixes, bringing all those experiences and joy about music together. Since the early 90s, I’ve had a passion for breakbeats, jungle, and all kinds of UK music derivatives. I had the privilege of hosting a weekly show in Berlin during the early days of Dub Step and 2step. I played alongside pioneers of the early breaks scene in Berlin, such as ED2000 and Vela from Dangerous Drums. Despite this sound being unwelcome in Germany or Berlin, I still get goosebumps whenever I hear it. So, listen and perhaps enjoy this music that I appreciate so much.” 🎶🔊12

In 1991, I began my journey as a DJ, initially in Potsdam and later in various clubs in Berlin, although there are so many venues that I can't even recall them all. My time spent at Delicious Doughnuts, where I had a six-year residency, had a profound impact on me. Since then, I've developed a preference for playing sets that span at least four hours.Throughout my career, I've witnessed a great deal and consistently strived to uphold the values of the early 1990s. I've made a conscious effort to steer clear of any form of commercialization of techno and house, and I've never been fond of the DJ cult phenomenon. Disco, the mother of house, is and was one of my largest influences for all what I play as DJ. I love so much the every time overtly positive attitude. If I had a wish, I would beam me to NY in the early 70ies in the club "Leveticus", or in the paradise garage ;-).

Visiting so many clubs and open airs in Germany gave me allways a big pleasure. After my daughter was born, I settled a little to focus on my family and job, but I still love to create monthly mixes, bringing all those experiences and joy about music together. Last weekend, a nice garden bbq at one of the last sommer days / nights in Potsdam, some friends, some bottles of wine, some kids (you can hear them on the start of the mix :-), Niklas on Sax and the best new tunes. I hope you can comprehend the mood . . .

Since some time we get music, mostly from uk, where we think, ohh, its breakbeat/2step, but with a typical house rhythm and atitude. I like this very much, because it reminds me sometimes on the early nineties where acts like LFO, The Scientist, blabla, produces music with a similar mood, reduced beats, sometimes rave elements, bass and more bass. Try to play this very loud on a good sound system, and you can feel what I prefer on this kind of music (with the stupid name house'n'bass).
