For the fulfillment of God’s will in our lives, we must not confine ourselves to the present circumstances that we see. Faith is all about focusing on the evidence of things not seen. The things we see are temporal but the things not seen are eternal.
Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your Heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:31-33).
A key locks and unlocks, preventing or granting access to things. So also is knowledge to the human soul - it can shield us from undesirable situations, as well as open us up to delightful experiences not previously imagined. It is God’s will to give us the keys of His kingdom. To grant us authority over all things and give us access to all He has prepared for us. But we must come to the knowledge of Him. We must come to the knowledge of truth.

If we humble ourselves, God pours out His grace which empowers us to overcome and reign in any situation. Therefore we never fear or lose hope for His grace is all we need. ******** “My Grace is sufficient for you, for My Strength is made perfect in (your) weakness” ~ 2 Corinthians 12:9

God’s desire is for us - to abide in us and with us. We can build our lives either propelled by our own hands or by the Spirit of God i.e. without our hands. Even though we may go through times of adversity, nevertheless, we must rise up, look beyond the present, and press forward into that which the Lord has prepared.

Perilous times are bound to take place. But our response will determine if we rise above or are consumed by such times. God’s plans for us are designed to give us a hopeful future, but only if we trust and obey.

In every season of adversity, God is looking for those who will separate themselves and rise up to the challenge. It requires sacrifice and a renewed thinking in order to demonstrate God’s. Let each of us rise up to the Lord’s call.

Jesus Himself said, He did not come to be served but rather to serve. The kingdom of God belongs to those and is manifested for those who respond to our Heavenly Father’s call to serve Him.

God rules in the affairs of men. Nevertheless Jesus taught that in prayer we must ask for His kingdom (dominion) to come and for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. This must become our primary focus if we are to experience God’s hand in all that concerns us.

When we wait on the Lord, we will not be stationary. We will be primed to run with purpose the race specific to us and not that of another. It when we run our own race that we obtain the prize at the end of the race. It is time to run - in His strength and in the power of His might.

In this day of information overload, we must be careful what we receive into our hearts and minds. The 'reports' we believe will determine what we say, decide and ultimately act upon. Some reports are like the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil - separating us from God's divine purpose. Others are like the tree of life - keeping us in the path of His truth. Which report are you giving heed to?

I would have fainted, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:1). As we crossover into 2020, let the goodness of the Lord be our expectation, knowing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or imagine according to His power working in us.

It is so important to maintain a thankful and joyful heart especially in the face of difficult and challenging circumstances. A broken or depressed spirit can drain one of strength but the joy of the Lord is like medicine to our souls.

As we come to the end of the year, we all hope for better things for the future. Thankfully, God has promised good things for each of us. Blessings beyond what we could ever ask for or imagine, if we are willing to trust Him.

“And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’" (Luke 5:39). As we approach a new decade, God is calling us to let go of the old - to forget the former things and walk in newness of life. He wants us to live in the fullness of all that He has given to us from heaven. But to receive this heavenly life we must ask for it, seek after it and knock until we're ushered into it.

To experience what God has prepared for us, we must embrace the truth of His word - the assurance of His great and perfect plan for our lives, if we would but trust Him. However, this truth is frequently beset by obstacles within and around us. And we must correctly respond to these paralyzing feelings and circumstances by fighting the good fight of faith until we lay hold of the promise.

It is God’s desire that all men come into the knowledge of truth. Truth is not simply knowing more scriptures. It is the unveiling of spiritual (heavenly) realities in our daily lives. This must become our earnest desire: And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10). Each of us has a divine assignment which God has ordained for us to fulfill. In these 2 episodes we learn how God equips us so that we can be fruitful in every good work He has called us to do.

In all that we do, we must ensure that we are walking in obedience to God’s voice. God is working in each of us to both will and do of His good pleasure. We will continuously experience salvation as we yield ourselves to Him and what He has assigned us to do.

This is what it means to be a living sacrifice: to love not your life unto death; to lay down your life for a friend; to give up your desires for a higher purpose; to exchange your will for His. This is the life Christ invites us to lead. This is the selflessness that fulfils our destiny. The entrance of God’s word into our hearts reveals this time and impels us to arise, discover and execute that which is written concerning us.

Jesus said men ought always to pray and not give up. This is the only way to ensure God’s justice is demonstrated in our lives.
God the Righteous Judge wants to execute justice for those who keep coming to Him, persistent in faith.
In this episode we learn what it means to live by faith in the midst of trials. Do we respond to our trials by complaining about the situation or giving up when things seem to be too tough. Or do we strengthen ourselves in God by rejoicing and giving thanks as we trust in Him. By faith we learn that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
