If you took part in 'make a song and dance about poverty' you helped create something amazing. Download the track for free at www.oxfam.org.uk/song. If you want to do more to take on poverty, it couldn’t be easier, text SONG to 70066 to donate £2.

Today, the 85 richest people on the planet have as much wealth as the 3.5 billion poorest – that’s half the world’s population. We think that’s wrong. To help turn up the volume on poverty, we recorded festival goers and celebrities, including Simon Pegg, Eliza Doolittle and Foals, making a song and dance about poverty. The support was incredible with 18,000 people taking part across the UK. Full credits of participants is listed on the link above.

Using thousands of song and dance segments, Eclectic Method (aka Jonny Wilson) created this totally unique and epic video which will be shared far and wide to highlight the growing gap between rich and poor. So make sure you download the track and share this with your friends!

The small print: texts cost £2 plus standard network rate. By texting you consent to future telephone contact from Oxfam. Text NOINFO to 70066 to stop future SMS.
