Autism Awareness Day isn't as Celebration Worthy as you think. According to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the population of children diagnosed with Autism is ten times larger than it was 40 years ago! Meanwhile, the National Institute for Health (NIH) has only put .55% of its funding towards Autism research.That's NOT going to cut it! Frankly, "Awareness" isn't enough: without any action, Autism Awareness Day is just another run of the mill day on your calendar.
