Meet Taylur Avery, Los Angeles born and Mississippi raised. Taylur is a full-time federal agent and part-time entrepreneur. She has been in law enforcement for 7 years, beginning her career as a Mississippi State Trooper and eventually moving on to become a Federal Agent in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated with her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and English from the University of Mississippi and Masters in Business Administration from The Grand Canyon University.

Just 1 short year after transitioning to Los Angeles from Mississippi, her life took many turns. She lost her grandfather within the first 5 months of moving to a hit and run driver and her relationship at the time went to pieces. When her grandfather passed away, he had no life insurance. Consequently, she went broke paying for his affairs and I slept in her car all while working a 6-figure job. Yet, she decided that she would not be a victim of her circumstance. Despite her situation, those moments helped her to start investing in herself in other ways than just her career. So, she bought an investment property, franchised her very own Mayweather Boxing + Fitness Studio and got to work all within a 4-month time frame of losing her grandfather. With no help or business partners, she decided to take the risks by believing in herself and her ability to be successful in both real estate and the studio fitness industry.

Since then, she has continued to work full-time, while teaching others how to become financially literate and coaching new or aspiring business owners. She has successfully scaled her Mayweather studio to $65K months after the pandemic. She learned to leverage Others People Money “OPM” to make an additional $100K in 1 year by doing real estate part-time. She has obtained Over $50K in business credit within 30 days without ever using personal credit. And has been able to teach over 100 people financial literacy and change their relationship with money. Her love for helping others paired with her gift of coaching and entrepreneurship, has allowed her to fulfill her life’s calling to help others gain mental and financial freedom by working with her. And she hopes to do the same for you.

Thank you for joining us on Real Talk with Delia!

At the top of the show we briefly discuss the ridiculous notion of changing the name of the Afro, to something called a "cloud bob" in order to accommodate other races manipulating their hair to create something like an Afro. It's another attempt to disregard and erase us! We will delve into this notion at another time.

We spend the rest of the show with today's guest, Daryl Davis from Smith County Texas. Daryl shares with us his personal experience, in the late 90's suffering 12 years imprisonment as a result of horrific lies and orchestrated deception of his previous girlfriend!

Most of us are aware that, after the Revolution and Civil Rights era, in the 80's and 90's, the United States kicked into high gear, the dismantling of the African (Black) family by further disrupting self-sustainability. A few methods were the removal of home and business ownership and employment from Black neighborhoods, CIA installed gangs and drugs, over-taxation, systemic barriers to financial stability, enhanced government surveillance and dependency, and many other attempts to damage the Black family and population entirely! The U.S. system spent obscene amounts of money ensuring that the African (Black) population can never again rise against them!!!

Every time one of us decides to misbehave, we should know that the system is ALWAYS standing by to make sure that we fall harder than necessary because the goal is total destruction of our people!!!

Daryl's experience in prison because of his girlfriend's lies and deception is the perfect example of this!

Tune in to this conversation with Daryl Davis on Real Talk with Delia!

"Parched, a feature documentary, explores a rich tale of water and power in the state of California. Through multiple investigations, we discover how a handful of water barons manipulate and exploit the state's most precious resource, while drought and a groundwater crisis leave everyday Americans desperate for better solutions. As California experiences more and more water woes, the future of its agriculture - which provides nearly half the country's fruits, nuts and vegetables - becomes less certain. Californians and the world are waking up to a stark reality: water is the next commodity, and it's growing more valuable. As a Porterville resident warns us, 'You're going to be next. In this Part #1 of the 6-part POWER SERIES, Chef Aundre speaks to us about the power we wield to create the life that we want, and if we aren't careful of the words that we speak, the life that we don't. In this "thoughts are things" conceptual discussion, Aundre details how some of the everyday ideas and concepts that we live by should be thought of and reexamined more critically, and in some cases tossed out entirely in order to successfully create and maintain the life that we want.

There is not such thing as "work-life-balance"... only balance within one self which inherently shows up in ones life.

"There is life and death in the tongue!" The supernatural powers that we have give life, sustain life, or take life; your own or someone else's.
