P3. 'Venom' - a film review and excellent example of platonic love💖 (~29:00)

FOLLOW OUR NEW INSTAGRAM @theguiltcast
also we recorded and this agessss ago fyi
we made it to 2021! who would have thought! anyways, we felt obligated to revisit trisha in this ep because of the latest drama with ethan. although resolved, we were dissatisfied with the community response (specifically H3 fans) to the conflict. justice for trish!
thats a wrap on 2020 for us! in this ep we start off with our much anticipated 'simp list' which is just a list of celebrity men outside the mainstream simp realm that we deem simp worthy. about mid-way we back track on music again and talk asap rocky and lana but most importantly, the smiths and morrissey
we're starting our 2021 with a revision on trisha paytas so stay tuned for that!!! scheduled for the first week of 2021 - potentially tomorrow??? yikes i guess we'll see
Our old eps are back up! If you're a new listener, go back and listen to our old eps! It's probs the best way yall can support us :)
OKK so ig we're self confessed anglophiles now, aside from our new found love for Noel Fielding and big fat quiz as well commentary on the 2020 Bake Off finale we also talk about logan paul, gender and language all in one so stay tuned for that ALSO NEW EP THIS FRIDAY (18TH DEC @ 9AM AEST) we're going through our spotify wrapped among other things for anyone who cares lol anywayysss enjoyxx
We also talk about fruity men, togas and idealists and how we can start a republic (with minimal knowledge of how one could feasibly occur - which is funny considering we both studied Revs)
Also we made a gmail! wow! whilst we're getting our website and other social media stuff up and running feel free to contact us and give us feedback at theguiltcast@gmail.com
PSA: A WEBSITE IS IN THE WORKS! You may have noticed our old eps are not on Spotify anymore, its basically just because we cbs paying to keep them up so instead, we're making a website! We'll keep you updated on that:)
Back to our roots covering all the bases ... got a bit politically charged again with the rogan stuff but all uphill when we chat about the best movie ever and don't really quantify it with much regarding why we (Pia) think that. Also cover music and whilst we are proponents for Laundry we're critical of today's trap :/ also got a bit of dan and Phil chat in there too
The Russell Brand ep about democracy with David Runciman is called 'Democracy is Dead', go listen to this for a truer more articulate version of our political discussion
okkkk so hopefully this link works, its for the form we talk about at the end that you absolutely do not need to look at but if you do itd be so interesting for us:

Ok so I, Pia, decided to go on a walk whilst recording this and the next episode hence the poor sound quality on my end :(
in this ep we talk about instagram, tik tok, cigarette daydreams, yellow days, clairo, roslyn, past life regression, 100 gecs and the man who slept up a tree. also melbourne vs monash.

In this episode we discuss nostalgic tv and aspects of our childhoods (?), Avatar the last air bender, how ATLAB walked so every ensemble cast could run, how Melbourne is better than Toronto and white guys vs white guys
Today we discussed the end of Bon Appetit, gave our uneducated take on the shane-tati-jeffree-james drama + cancel culture and Jacksgap era youtube
NOTE: Ok I think I exaggerated the mic quality, its not that bad ....
RECORDED MAY 21 2020
Today we discuss Obsurify and Zaddy Zimmer, reminisce on the golden era of YA dystopian fiction, read Pia's SAVAGE Year 7 book reports and recreate the latest Bon Appetit video because our opinions matter more than theirs. Enjoy!
RECORDED APRIL 29: After talking for over 2 hours, Pia and I produced a solid 20 minutes of listenable content so here that is! We discuss music taste in relationships, modern texting dynamics and their wider implications and remember the good times John Green brought pretentious 12-year-old us. Enjoy!
TIME STAMPS: 4:30 - updates on episode 1 (survivor, love island, noah centineo's voice) // 17:42 - music (pia listening to chris brown 😬, anthony fantano, obscurify, dj-ing, triple j hottest 100, types of music listeners) // 59:40 - bon appetit (delany and claire, evolution of liking ba and delany, lil huddy) // 1h10:30 - conclusion
