Youth Employment Services offers FREE employment services to youth 16-29 across Manitoba. We host a bi-weekly podcast series that talks about everything from finding a job to exploring different career options. New episodes every other Wednesday. Welcome to the Job Pod!
This week, Alex talks about recognizing when you need a change in your career and how to act on that knowledge. They also announce that the Job Pod will be going on hiatus and pivoting to a blog. After a brief hiatus, the Job Pod returns with a new host: Alex Neufeldt, communications and special projects manager with Youth Employment Services Manitoba. For Alex’s first episode, she shares some strategies for managing your social media accounts with the knowledge that employers are probably monitoring them. Goodbyes are always hard! Today, we say goodbye to Alexander Ferrer, the Education Coordinator at Youth Employment Services and dedicated host of the Job Pod, who will be venturing off to Edmonton with his wife in August. In preparation for this goodbye, the YES staff came up with a few questions for Alexander, everything from favourite memories in Winnipeg to favourite ramen brands.
