Today we’re talking about feminism. Until this point, I’ve been a failing feminist, both in life and on this podcast. I have consistently generalized and created a one-size-fits-all view of feminist issues. Intersectional feminism, on the other hand, centers the voices and experiences of women around concurrent and overlapping forms of oppression like race, sexuality, gender identity or disability. In order to call my self a true feminist, I must start looking at it through this lens. This is my commitment to be better, both on this podcast and in life.
