Each action will be performed with attention to the older person’s customs, cultural practices and individual preferences.
The project, which started on the 1st January 2017, is funded by the European Commission and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan. It is coordinated by Professor Antonio Sgorbissa at the University of Genova and Professor Nak Young-Chong at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. The other study partners include Advinia Healthcare, University of Bedfordshire, Middlesex University, University of Orebro, Nagoya University, Chubu University and Softbank Robotics.
