2 Peter 3:16-18 King James Version
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
1 John 3:20-23 King James Version
20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
2 Timothy 3:15-17 King James Version
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Philippians 2:15-16 King James Version
15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 King James Version
4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.
Isaiah 40:30-31 King James Version
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
John 13:12-16 King James Version
12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 King James Version
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Isaiah 50:6-10 King James Version
6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
7 For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. 8 He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.
9 Behold, the Lord God will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up. 10 Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.
Psalm 143:7-8 King James Version
7 Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Luke 21:9 King James Version
9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. 11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. 18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish. 19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luke 10:17-19 King James Version
17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Isaiah 53:3-5 King James Version
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
1 John 1:7 King James Version

37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.
38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
39 For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
40 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
Psalm 23 King James Version
23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

John 13:33-35 King James Version
33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 King James Version
23 Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
Luke 9:22-26 King James Version
22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.
23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.
Matthew 7:22-27 King James Version
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Proverbs 3:5-7 King James Version
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
Romans 13:1-4 King James Version
13 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
John 8:44 King James Version
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Hebrews 12:1-3 King James Version
12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
1 Peter 5:8-10 King James Version
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
Matthew 7:24-27 King James Version
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Malachi 3:7-11 King James Version
7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.
Psalm 78:5-8 King James Version (KJV)
5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:
6 That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:
7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:
8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.
Isaiah 53:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
53 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
Romans 16:1-4 King James Version (KJV)
16 I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:
2 That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.
3 Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:
4 Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.
Ephesians 4:26-27 King James Version (KJV)
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil.
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour (shouting, crying), and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice (desire to do harm):
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Proverbs 2:11-15 King James Version (KJV)
11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things(in opposition to righteousness);
13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness (sin);
14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness (willfull disobedience) of the wicked;
15 Whose ways are crooked, and they froward (contrary) in their paths:
Lamentations 3:22-26 King James Version (KJV)
22 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
Matthew 25:41-45 King James Version (KJV)
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
2 Thessalonians 1:2-4 King James Version (KJV)
2 Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
Psalm 103:10-14 King James Version (KJV)
10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.
14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
Ephesians 5:15-17 King James Version (KJV)
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Hebrews 12:9-11 King James Version (KJV)
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
Nehemiah 9:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
9 Now in the twenty and fourth day of this month the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, and with sackclothes, and earth upon them.
2 And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.
3 And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the Lord their God one fourth part of the day; and another fourth part they confessed, and worshipped the Lord their God.
Romans 8:35-39 King James Version (KJV)
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Colossians 1:10-13 King James Version (KJV)
10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Ephesians 4:15-16 King James Version (KJV)
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

2 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.
3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

Luke 4:31-34 King James Version (KJV)
31 And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.
32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.
33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
Hebrews 4:13-16 King James Version (KJV)
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
2 Samuel 13:3-7 King James Version (KJV)
3 But Amnon had a friend, whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David's brother: and Jonadab was a very subtil man. 4 And he said unto him, Why art thou, being the king's son, lean from day to day? wilt thou not tell me? And Amnon said unto him, I love Tamar, my brother Absalom's sister.
5 And Jonadab said unto him, Lay thee down on thy bed, and make thyself sick: and when thy father cometh to see thee, say unto him, I pray thee, let my sister Tamar come, and give me meat, and dress the meat in my sight, that I may see it, and eat it at her hand.
6 So Amnon lay down, and made himself sick: and when the king was come to see him, Amnon said unto the king, I pray thee, let Tamar my sister come, and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat at her hand.
7 Then David sent home to Tamar, saying, Go now to thy brother Amnon's house, and dress him meat.
Psalm 101 King James Version (KJV)
101 I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing. 2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
4 A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.
5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me. 7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.
8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the Lord.
Philippians 2:5-7 King James Version (KJV)
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Matthew 6:25 King James Version (KJV)
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Matthew 6:31-34 King James Version (KJV)
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
Psalm 138:2-3 King James Version (KJV)
2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
Ezekiel 3:20-21 King James Version (KJV)
20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
Psalm 66:18-20 King James Version (KJV)
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
1 Peter 5:5-10 King James Version (KJV)
5 ..... and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Psalm 118:5-8 King James Version (KJV)
5 I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.
6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
7 The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. 8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
14 The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
James 4:10-12 King James Version (KJV)
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
Matthew 12:48-50 King James Version (KJV)
48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Hebrews 11:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Saints ! Say to your soul, "soul of mine, take courage in your God ! He is the help that you need ! " How often do we allow the circumstances to sway our belief in the goodness of our God ? We should remember all of the times when the situation was difficult, and the Lord saw us through to a blessed end. Does he ever fail to perfect all that concerns us ? It may not appear at the moment that we want it to, but God CANNOT be late ! He IS GOD ! God is not capable of an error of any kind ! So why are you discouraged ? Why are you depressed and sad ? REALLY ???
Don't be upset ! Don't be discouraged ! Don't be depressed ! EXPECT GOD TO ACT !
Colossians 3:15 King James Version (KJV)
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called.... and be ye thankful.

3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
Luke 4:33-34 King James Version (KJV)
33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out
Each believer in Christ Jesus will have the opportunity to develop strategies to overcome the onslaught of the enemy. The enemy will try continually to move the believer out of faith. Murmuring and complaining stem from a heart issue of dissatisfaction. We can choose to believe that the Lord will alleviate the situation in due time or we will find ourselves embittered in the "wrong" spirit.
Psalm 27:13 King James Version (KJV)
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Acts 6:2-3 King James Version (KJV)
2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.
3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
Acts 6:5-6 King James Version (KJV)
5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.
Hosea 14:1-4 King James Version (KJV)
14 O israel, return unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
2 Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. 3 Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
4 I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
Hebrews 10:22-27 King James Version (KJV)
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Romans 15:1-2 King James Version (KJV)
15 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
Isaiah 53:3-5 King James Version (KJV)
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Mark 1:29-34 King James Version (KJV)
29 And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. 30 But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her.
31 And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.
32 And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils. 33 And all the city was gathered together at the door.
34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.
Isaiah 26:4-5 King James Version (KJV)
4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:
5 For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.
Isaiah 51:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
Ephesians 4:30-32 King James Version (KJV)
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
The Lord our God is a Mighty Defense in times of trouble, distress, and danger. He will protect His people and save them when their trust is in Him. HE IS ABLE to defend and to protect us all, because He alone is ALMIGHTY in power, in strength, in authority, in dominion!
Nahum 1:6-7 King James Version (KJV)
6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.
7 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
Mark 4:36-41 King James Version (KJV)
36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
Psalm 34:12-14 King James Version (KJV)
12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
There is a freedom from bondages that comes only as we release anger, hurt, bitterness, and hatred to Jesus. It brings a refreshing cleansing that we all need. Letting go of all the held in emotions, thoughts, and feelings of past hurts actually brings relief. Years of anguish are swept away when we can see the Lord Jesus's death on the cross as the solution to our pain. There may be circumstances that we must accept for a season, but the inward suffering comes to an end. If we choose to hold on to the pains of this life, we poison our future and grieve the Holy Spirit.
17 The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh. (Proverbs 11:17 KJV)
Romans 15:4 King James Version (KJV)
4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Psalm 119:114 King James Version (KJV)
Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
The failure , through refusal or neglect, to conform to or obey a command of a duly empowered superior is DISOBEDIENCE.
In the scriptures the primary focus is a failure to properly respond to the commands of the WORD in loving agreement or consent without protest. In both the Old Testament and the New Testament God is insistent that those who are disobedient shall be punished.
Titus 1:16 King James Version (KJV)
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
1 Peter 3:13-17 King James Version (KJV)
13 And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
Psalm 95:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
Matthew 17:20-21 King James Version (KJV)
20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
Jeremiah 32:33 King James Version (KJV)
33 And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.
Have you ever refused to listen to the voice of the Lord ? Have you ever refused to talk with Him because you feared that He would tell you what you don't want to hear ? Have you ever refused instructions or directions and stubbornly persisted with your own ideas ? Have you ever shut out counsel because it didn't agree with what you wanted ? Have you ever refused to accept that God was not going to give you the "answer that you wanted on your terms" ? Well there is hope for you. God cares.
Matthew 6:19-21 King James Version (KJV)
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Matthew 10:16-19 King James Version (KJV)
16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
Casting, to throw away, to discard, to abandon, to throw off, to eject ...okay so let's get rid of somethings! Which things? Worries, cares, anxieties, troubles, "drama", irritations, annoyances, vexations, harassments, uneasiness, distresses, worry over insignificant details, if I could have, would have, should haves. Burdens ! Yokes ! Distasteful experiences! That which is "bugging" you ! Questions for which you have NO answer !

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
2 Samuel 22:2-4 King James Version (KJV)
2 And he said, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
4 I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
If you have a strong mind and a victorious mind in Christ, you will be victorious in life's battles. If your heart and mind are weak, then you will be weak. Strength in battle is important for you to overcome. We all face battles. We all must learn to overcome. To overcome we must develop a victorious mind. We must walk in faith and in the power of the Holy Spirit. We must take control of our thoughts, our emotions, our will, our desires, our attitudes and bring them under the control of the Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 10:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ

Romans 8:38-39 King James Version (KJV)
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 13:8-11 King James Version (KJV)
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
John 2:1-5 King James Version (KJV)
2 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
Jeremiah 9:4-9 King James Version (KJV)
4 Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders.
5 And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.
6 Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the Lord.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?
8 Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait.
9 Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the Lord: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
The Most High God RULES! He rules in heaven. He rules in the kingdom of mankind. He is SUPREME. He is Sovereign. He gives power, gifts, abilites, and skills to whom He chooses. This is HIS world. He sets one up, and takes another down. He is LORD over ALL.
Daniel 4:16-17 King James Version (KJV)
16 Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.
17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
1 Peter 4:12-14 King James Version (KJV)
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
Philippians 2:2-4 King James Version (KJV)

" Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen...." (Hebrews 11:1 KJV )
Hebrews 10:35-39 King James Version (KJV)
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Evil words destroy; even righteous causes that God has established. Some enjoy making "cutting" remarks, but words of wisdom seek, peace, benefit, and healing. Those who tend towards "talking TOO MUCH" will suffer the consequences ! Some have even died for saying the WRONG thing ! Some ruin their own chances by their own foolishness and then blame it on the Lord. Many engage in perpetual arguments, their mouth is their undoing and their words endanger them. It's hard to stop a quarrel once it begins. To the wise a fitting silence is golden.
Proverbs 18:21 King James Version (KJV)
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Enticements and temptaions will always find a place in the flesh, but not so when we walk in the Spirit. There will always be a "voice" seeking to persuade you to take an appealing course of action. It works in your thought life, in your imaginations, stirring up your emotions. So instead of bringing it before the light of the Word of God, you "toy around" with it mixing it with your lusts. You rationalize within yourself. You suddenly become very "logical" about it all. It makes perfectly good sense doesn't it? Looks good to you! You begin to work out a plan for accomplishment. But did you...????
2 Corinthians 10:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ
Our Heavenly Father protects His family! He is our Protector ! His rulership includes providing the utmost in security and defense that is available under HIS authority.
Matthew 26:50-53 King James Version (KJV)
50 And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus and took him.
51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.
52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
Does Jesus care when my heart is pained, when grief and sorrow won't go away ? Does Jesus care when my way is dark and I can't feel Him close to me ? Does Jesus care when every single thing seems to go wrong ? Does Jesus care when I've tried and failed again? Does Jesus care when I can't seem to overcome a old temptation ? Does Jesus care when I am rejected by those who are closest to me? Does Jesus care when my sadness is so heavy that my heart breaks? Does Jesus know when I cry myself to sleep at night? Does Jesus care when I give up? Does He care? really care?
YES, HE CARES !!!!
Proverbs 8:17
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
Oh how joyful are the hearts of the people of God ! O how we rejoice before His throne! His goodness to us is more than we hoped for and His mercies towards us abound into an overflow of blessings.
1 Chronicles 16:27 King James Version (KJV)
27 Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
Acts 13:52 King James Version (KJV)
52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.
There will be times when all of us will be tempted to "seek revenge" for ills, crimes, and sins done against us. Most of us will only think about it and brrod over it, but others will be provoked to act. Nonetheless, the Lord's standard for His people to to Walk In Love and so fullfull the Word of God. When emotions are heated humans often experience anger with haste, but cooler heads wait until that "feeling" passes. It is good to remember that we are God's ambassadors here in the earth, and that we bear His image and likeness.
1 John 2:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Satan is an imposter ! That is one who asumes an identity or title not his own for the purpose of deception. AND a person who cheats or deceives others , especially pretending to be someone or something that he is not. Satan and his imposters are here to deceive you. This is their assignment. They intend to be sucessful. Will you allow it ? Will you allow yourself to become deceived? Will you continue to live by your own ideas and opinions rather than bringing EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE to the OBEDIENCE of Jesus Christ ? There will be worldwide deception on an unprecedented scale...don't fall victim to it! Satan is going to deceive the nations of the world and lead them in rebellion against GOD.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 King James Version (KJV)
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie
The Lord Jesus Christ has called us to follow His example. He has called us to reflect His character, His love, and His Truth to people everywhere. Our Christian witness is of "GREAT VALUE" in a fallen society which has lost its way. PEOPLE NEED THE LORD! They need to see that Jesus is Real. They need to know that He is not dead but yet alive in the world through His Saints, His body, the CHURCH. They need to sense His compassion, His greatness, His power, and His love. We are the vessels that He has chosen to use in this dark and destructive world. Let us yield our vessels to Him as instruments of righteousness that His glory may be seen.
John 14:15 King James Version (KJV)
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Isaiah 44:6 KJV " Thus saith the Lord, the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Isaiah 43:10-11 KJV " Ye are My witnesses, saith the Lord, and My servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He: before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the Lord; and beside Me there is no savior."
Romans 11:33 KJV " O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out !"
Jeremiah 32:27 KJV " Behold. I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for Me?"
Isaiah 40:25 KJV " To whom then will ye liken Me, or shall I be equal ? saith the Holy One. 26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, He calleth them all by names by the greatness of HIS might, for the He is strong in power; not one faitheth.
Isaiah 40:28-31 King James Version (KJV)
28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
HOLY COMMUNION TODAY
When upheaval presents itself there is a strong temptation to find fault, to blame, to critcize, to judge, and to condemn. The flesh will always move in this direction. But when we are being led by the Holy Spirit the grace of God and the fruit of the Spirit are in control. When we yield to God's loving grace we walk in temperance, patience, and longsuffering. When we put away self- righteousness we are able to display compassion on the weak, sinful, and erring.
Psalm 130:3 King James Version (KJV)
3 If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
Nehemiah 9:16-17, 29 King James Version (KJV)
16 But they and our fathers dealt proudly, and hardened their necks, and hearkened not to thy commandments,
17 And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.
29 And testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.
Leviticus 19:35-36 King James Version (KJV)
35 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.
36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.
John 7:24 King James Version (KJV)
24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
Imagine this....you're walking down a road and it begins to fork into 2 paths; one to the left and the other to the right. At first you are somewhat perplexed....trying to decide which path would be right for you. You can't really see very far down either path, but the path leading to the right appeals to you. The path on the left seems strangely familiar to you..but you feel yourself pleasantly drawn to the path on the right. The sun is beginning to go down and it's time for you to make up your mind. Should you keep going with the old familiar path...or should you walk into what seems to be an appealing adventure ? You stall for a second or two and THEN ....YOU DECIDE.
JOHN 12:26 KJV.....(JESUS SAID)..."If any man serve me, let him follow Me"
Saints, let each of us walk honestly with the Lord, with ourselves, and with each other. There will always be times when we have differing viewpoints, but let us allow the Holy Spirit to teach us about the love of God. The love of God is peaceful, longsuffering, gentle, full of goodness, and faith. There is no law that can condemn such. You may say, well aren't there times when we must address issues that are troublesome ? Yes, there will always be those times; but allow the Holy Spirit to guide you with His wisdom and love. This pleases the Lord !
James 4:1 King James Version (KJV)
4 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
Leviticus 26:7-9 King James Version (KJV)
7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
Acts 12:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
Job 32:8 King James Version (KJV)
8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
This understanding is a gift from the Lord. It is in direct relationship to a successful and truthful relationship with our heavenly Father. Those who "go their own way" instead of HIS WAY do great damage to their own selves and often place others in jeopardy.
Isaiah 30:15 KJV
For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Should we receive and never give? The Savior died that we might live. His life on Calvary He gladly gave, our sinful souls to save. He gives me health, He keeps me strong. He guides me when I would go wrong. He gives me everything that I need, my every hunger feeds. He gave me peace. He made me whole. And when in sin He saved my soul. And what I give would never be compared with the blessing that I share. You can't beat God giving, no matter how you try. And just as sure as you are living and the Lord is in heaven on high. The more you give, the more He gives to you. But keep on giving because it's really true, that you can't beat God giving, no matter how you try.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 King James Version (KJV)
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
HOLY COMMUNION TODAY....BE PREPARED
What is your offensive battle plan against the enemy of your mind? Do you have one ? If you have one, do you ACTIVATE it when attacked ? Or are you PASSIVE ?? Do you just "roll over" and continue to do what you're doing ? Do you stop the enemy at the ONSET of attack ? What DO YOU DO ?????
2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
What are you looking for ? Whom do you seek ? The answer to these questions will either lead you closer to the Lord or farther away from Him. In the heart of each believer in Jesus Christ there lies an answer, and a leading. It is with persistent seeking that each of us is able to discover what lies within. For the wholly consecrated saint who is yet learning the ways of the Lord, it is an essential to spend time in His Presence. Wherever we are the place where we meet with Him becomes "holy ground" to us. God is calling us to find "holy ground" with Him.
Acts 7:33 King James Version (KJV)
33 Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.
Justice is the use of authority and power to uphold what is right, just or lawful. It implies the use of sound reason, impartiality, fairness, proper deportment, righteousness, and truth. To violate the justice of our God is a violation of His Word. It is important for believers to acknowledge the commandments, statutes, and laws of our covenant with Jesus Christ and to be ruled by them.
Proverbs 11:1 King James Version (KJV)
11 A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.
Oh how wondrous is the WORD of GOD ! What an amazing blessing the WORD of GOD is to His saints and to the world. The whole world lieth in darkness, but the TRUTH of HIS WORD is the LIGHT of Life. Mankind was designed by GOD our Creator to thrive by living on His Word. Natural sustenance alone will not suffice ! We MUST have the LIVING WORD of GOD.
Matthew 4:4
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Deuteronomy 28:2 KJV
And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
Luke 11:28 King James Version (KJV)
28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it
Psalm 84:12 King James Version (KJV)
12 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
It takes patience and trust in the Lord and His ways to resist the temptation to act rashly. Many times we feel pressured...to make a move, to resolve an issue, to get to "the bottom of this", to get on with life ! This "pressure" draws confusion. God is NOT the author of this confusion. Recognizing this situation as an attack of the enemy is critical. Calmness, resisting the temptation, binding the spirits, pleading the merits of Jesus' shed blood for us,submitting to the Holy Spirit, walking in His spirit of peace, will bring far better and more fruitful results. Take a step back and allow the Lord to lead you OUT of the temptation.
Acts 19:36 King James Version (KJV)
36 ...., ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.
The CHURCH of LORD JESUS CHRIST is moving forward against satan the enemy. The time has come for the defeat of the enemy's army of deluding, seducing, and lying spirits who attack God's people. It's time to STOP the enemy's advance against the CHURCH. The CHURCH is NOT hiding in fear, holding the "fort", nor running from satan in fear. The CHURCH of the LORD JESUS CHRIST is pursuing the enemy and seizing the victory that belongs to us! This victory is our birthright.
Jude 3 KJV...." ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints."
HOLY COMMUNION TONIGHT
Satan has launched a massive attack on the Church of Jesus Christ; he knows that his time is short! Saints need to awaken out of spiritual lethergy, and come down out of their "ivory towers" of presumption and down into the trenches of spiritual warfare. If they refuse to do so, they will become overwhelmed by the onslaught of the enemy. The Church of Jesus Christ is moving forward toward the "SHOWDOWN" !
Matthew 11:12 King James Version (KJV)
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
The Lord Jesus Christ MANIFESTS Himself through the POWER in His Name. Saints, it is this very power that will propel us through the days to come; the POWER IN HIS NAME. Saints we KNOW that as long as we go forth IN HIS NAME, we will not be defeated. The sorrow of this hour compels us to go forward. We are called to go forth in the POWER and AUTHORITY of HIS NAME. It is our charge to go forward to conquer and to take authority over the power of the enemy..in our homes, in our communities, in our cities, and in our nation!
2 Chronicles 14:11 King James Version (KJV)
11 And Asa cried unto the Lord his God, and said, Lord, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O Lord our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O Lord, thou art our God; let no man prevail against thee.
Deuteronomy 30:19-20 King James Version (KJV)
19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
20 That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
Saints we are BLESSED ! The Father Himself has blessed in Jesus Christ. The blessings of other persons upon us are profitable, yet the blessings of our Heavenly Father are far MORE ! MORE Exceeding, abundantly, above all that we can ask or think.
Numbers 6:24-27 King James Version (KJV)
24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.
Saints, we must always remember that sinners do not understand the kingdom of our God. They cannot picture in their minds those mysteries that we hold precious in our hearts. What they have "always done" is REALLY all that they are certain of. They are unsure of the TRUTH that you are sharing with them. It sounds sort of good, but they have NEVER experienced it for themselves. They see that you have changed in a good sort of way, but now you are just "strange". All that you want to talk about nowadays is the bible and Jesus. They think that you're making them to feel as though they are actually "going to Hell". And what is this "born again stuff" ???
John 3:6-7 King James Version (KJV)
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
PROVERBS 15:23 KJV A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good it is !
Have you ever spoken "out of turn" ? Have you ever spoken words that immediately thereafter you wish that you had not been so hasty ? Have you ever questioned too much ? Are you nosy ? Is it important to you to "mind your own business" ? Has there ever been a time when you should have kept "your opinion" to yourself ? Do you "name call" or disrespect others in the heat of argument ? Do you yell at others ? Do you speak profanity, even in traffic? Do you "talk back" to your parents, teachers, or older siblings? If your words were recorded for one week and they were played back to the congregation, would you be embarrassed or humiliated ?
As believers and followers of Jesus Christ we should seek to engage in and maintain friendships that please the Lord. Our friendships should give glory to our God. Frequently believers seek out relationships that do not meet scriptural standards. These relationships eventually produce sin in our lives and open doors for demonic activities. If we walk closely with the Lord and we are seeking to please Him; He will show us what we do not know about those with whom we associate. Whenever we discover that the relationship is outside of the boundaries of the Word of God, we must take righteous action immediately.
1 Corinthians 10:20-21 KJV..." and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils."
Have you ever had a mission, a chore, a responsibility that you just did not want to carry out ? You know that you ought to do it. You know that no one else is going to do it. You know that if you put the required effort into the task, that you will be successful; but somehow you can't seem to find the needed motivation to get going. What to do ? Ask for help. The Holy Spirit is our HELPER. He helps us!
Romans 8:26 King James Version (KJV)
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered
Many Christains think that they have acquired too much knowledge of the Word of God to ever be deceived. They believe that only unbelievers and weak, carnal Christians are able to be deceived. NOT SO ! Many seasoned belivers have been led astray. Yes, even on-fire, sold out Christians have left the Lord. Dedication does not safeguard us from deception. The TRUTH is our safe place in a time when delusions and deceptions abound.
Proverbs 23:23
Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
It is IMPOSSIBLE to please our God without FAITH ! That's right you must needs be have faith, and maintain faith, in order to please God. You cannot have faith one day and not have faith the next day. Steadfast and unmoveable faith is required to receive an answer from God; without it there will not be the blessings that the Lord desires to impart.
As the saints of the true and living God we never face the enemy or our adversaries alone. Jesus Christ lives within us! He is the "living Word" of God. His power is in His people; it is His power toward us who believe.
John 10:37-38 King James Version (KJV)
37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
Jesus Christ has accomplished great things! But how you say, did He do all that He did? Jesus Christ was sucessful because He became obedient to His Father's will; even unto death.
Philippians 2:6-10 King James Version (KJV)
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth
HOLY COMMUNION TONIGHT TO CELEBRATE THE VICTORY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST
Ephesians 6:10-11,13-17 King James Version (KJV)
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God
There is no name greater than the name of our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST !
Philippians 2:9-11 King James Version (KJV)
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
What are your TRUE motivations for serving the Lord Jesus ? Have you ever thought about this ? It is important to KNOW that all of your TRUE reasonings for your actions are pleasing to the Lord. The Word of God reveals TRUTH. Are your motives born of TRUTH ? Do you judge your motives as pure when they are not ? Do you bring your reasonings before His throne to be judged ? Why not ?
Psalm 33:4 KJV
For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.
Psalm 111:7-8 King James Version (KJV)
7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.
8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.
Our God blesses ABUNDANTLY !! He gives, gives, and keeps on giving. He does not withdraw His hand from His obedient children. Regardless to whether we live in a city of great resource or if we live in the countryside farming the land, God will bless His people wherever they reside. Our God desires to bless us, for it is His good pleasure to see His children in health and prosperity. Let us live our lives in agreement with Him and His plans for us.
Job 36:11 KJV
If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
Saints, the Lord has provided His people with insight into the days leading up to the end of this dipsensation of grace. This is the period of time when mankind can call upon the Lord "freely" and be saved. This change will hallmark the end of the age as we know it. The Lord of the Harvest is READY to reap His harvest. We must "watch and pray".
Matthew 24:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Sometimes we are not satisfied with the situation that GOD has placed us in. In our minds we ought to be further along in God. In our minds we should have a better position in His Kingdom. We believe that we are "worthy" of promotion or elevation that the Lord has not released to us. We have our minds, yet GOD has HIS own plan for each of us. What peace and joy we find when we discover "our place" in His Kingdom. The place that He has made for each of us; doing what HE has called us to do, doing what HE has purposed for us, and allowing HIM to use our lives for HIS glory.
Romans 9:20-21 King James Version (KJV)
20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
Sorrow and sadness have a habit of showing up whenever we have lost something or someone that we cherished. It is a common and frequent situation to all of mankind. As we look back on "what was", "what should have been" , or "what could have been", we experience feelings of guilt, regret, and disappointment. In Jesus Christ we are not left alone to manage all of these emotions. Our Saviour understands exactly what we are experiencing. He Knows. He cares. He feels our pain. He is our refuge.
Psalm 61:1-4 King James Version (KJV)
61 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
One of the most powerful things that God has given to mankind is a "freewill". A will used rightly brings us into total obedince and submission to the Lord Jesus Christ. Conversely, a will wrongfully exercised will lead us into rebellion and conflict with Almighty God. Wicked persons do not consider the truth of the Word of God in their deliberations and decision making. They believe that they are the master of their own life and endeavors. A wise person says, " Lord I choose to follow You, to please You, and give You the glory with my life".
Luke 22:41-42 King James Version (KJV)
41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
It is the will of our heavenly Father to bless His children with promotion, grace, and favor. But few of us understand prosperity from our Father's point of view. Humans tend to relegate prosperity to excess money, material gains, and financial riches primarily. But not so with our God! His concept is far broader and encompasses far more than the material aspects of human existence.
Matthew 6:33 King James Version (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
The battle has begun ! We are not giving ANY ground to the enemy ! We KEEP our armour on ! We submit to our Commander in Chief, the Lord Jesus Christ. We are alert and awake. We are using our weaponry. We are not looking for a way out, NO, we're going forward and taking ground for the Kingdom of our Lord. We know that Satan is a deceiver. He was a murderer from the beginning, and would not live in the truth, because there is no truth in him.For he is a liar, and the father of it.
Luke 10:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
Have you ever needed an answer from the Lord ? Have you ever needed an urgent answer from God in a serious situation? You feel pressed for time, you don't know where to look, you thought about a fleece, but what you really want is to hear from the Lord Himself. Well beloved you are not alone. The Word of God, the Holy Bible gives us answers.
Psalm 1:1-2 King James Version (KJV)
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
How GLORIOUS is HIS GRACE !!! How MARVELOUS is HIS MERCY ! Without the grace and mercy of our God we would all be in hell by now in eternal torment. We should be all the more grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ for HIS sacrifice for us, which allows us to live in HIS liberty. Our heavenly Father is most certainly the God of the second chance.
Titus 3:5-6 King James Version (KJV)
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour
Exodus 15:26 KJV
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
Yes, our God heals us. He heals us now just as He did with Moses and the Hebrew nation. Jesus Christ healed many as He lived among us while carrying out His Father's desires for mankind. Our heavenly Father does not give up on us when we fail to believe Him. He continues to work with our "weak" faith and He promises to strengthen our hearts. Our hearts must be filled with courage and faith in Him.
Let's just acknowledge the truth; we ALL need help. None of us regardless to how talented we are is an island unto himself. We all need someone to come along side to give strength, knowledge, counsel, or encouragement. WE ALL NEED THIS! So let us not be so highminded that we fail to ask the Lord for His help. Let us be willing to receive His help too. Sometimes He will choose to use those whom we are not familiar with, or more often those with whom we disagree. His help comes through His love for us, so let's not frustrate the grace of God.
1 Samuel 23:16 King James Version (KJV)
16 And Jonathan Saul's son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.
Many times failure is our lot and for good reasons. We may have erred in some way, or failed to assess the situation properly, or some unexpected event may have derailed our plans and dashed our hopes. Nonetheless if we have placed our trust in the Lord our God victory is still possible. How ? Whenever we CHOOSE to depend on God's strength instead of our own strength we have the assurance of His power at work on our behalf. Jesus said " for without me ye can do nothing".
Zechariah 4:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
Green is a beautiful color ! It shows health and growth in plants ! But in a different light it is associated with jealousy and envy. "Green with envy" as te saying goes. Jealousy says , " they have something that I want and I'm upset about it". Envy says, " I resent their success, abilities, position, honor, etc". Neither display the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Both are sinful. Neither give glory to God.
Philippians 1:15 King James Version (KJV)
15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
It's so easy to be overly concerning about everything. It's even easier to worry about the things in this life that we cannot control. We become anxious in the simple issues of life. So you can't find your keys, or your wallet, or the dog finally bit that neighbor boy", or the light bill, or the receipts, or the remote, or "they are coming over and I'm not ready yet", or "I'm under too much pressure" or "Honey, I seem to have hit the gas instead of the brakes" and on and on it goes. Even saints of the Most High God do this ! But why ? Isn't His love for us enough ? Didn't Jesus Christ die for us to inherit all the things that pertain to life and godly living ? What are we missing here?
2 Corinthians 12:9 King James Version (KJV)
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Oftentimes believers in Jesus Christ encounter challenges as they journey through life. They experience the lusts of their own will which is opposed to the will of God. They come to know the temptation to compromise righteousness. They feel the pressure to follow their own minds instead of a direct command of God. They eventually face the grip of unbelief. During these trials of temptation the flesh (self-life) will seek to blame someone or something for the present distress. If suffering is not humbly embraced, fault finding, murmuring and complaining will result.
1 Corinthians 10:10
Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
Job 19:13-14 King James Version (KJV)
13 He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.
14 My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me.
There are seasons and times in the life of the believer when we "feel alone" . Yes, it is a part of the human experience. We feel as though no one knows, cares, or remembers us or our plight. Sometimes we even feel as though God has forsaken us too! But the truth is that Jesus NEVER leaves us alone. We may "feel" alone, but the TRUTH is that He will never leave us nor forsake us. What a loving and merciful God He is to us!
Everything on this planet and beyond BELONGS to God ! All of it ! It is a certainty that we neither bring anything into this world nor do we carry anything out when we die. We do not have complete posession of anything. We are stewards of God's gracious blessings. Stewards are responsible for the management of properties (what we own, lease, rent, borrow), proper supervision of affairs and personnel (which includes those whom we hire to render service to us), and the righteous administration of financial affairs. This is a priviledge and we are accountable to God Himself for how we serve Him as a steward.
1 Samuel 2:30
Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
Proverbs 10:4 King James Version (KJV)
4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
The Holy Scriptures talk about everyday living in the journey of believers. We are encouraged to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. Jesus said " For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with His angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works". Jesus also said "My Father worketh hitherto, and I work", "My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work". IN ALL LABOR THERE IS PROFIT.
Psalm 27:13-14 King James Version (KJV)
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
Depression is a type of fainting that is common in life. It is a mental fault, and an emotional response to feeling overwhelmed, overcome, "fenced in", "backed into a corner", being misunderstood, rejected, lonely, "out of sorts", and a host of other emotions. It is crucial for the believer in Jesus Christ to learn how to recognize the attack of the enemy.
Depression is a primary stategy of Satan against Christians and sinners alike. It gives way to physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional problems. The enemy particularly uses this weapon against believers to condemn, discourage, defeat, and hinder them from making serious advances into the territory that he has held in thier lives. His aim is to keep the believer from releasing their faith in the Word to recceive what they need from the Lord. But we are not ignorant of his schemes.
Isaiah 61:3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
Our declaration of our saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ brings with it many advanatages. This open acknowledgment of our belief in Jesus Christ has lasting consequences. It is this confession which we have made that allows the angels of God access to us in order to help us as the Lord gives command. It is a declaration of loyalty and allegiance, and it is an essential requirement of Christianity. The Word of God commands us to hold this profession dearer than life. We are to HOLD ONTO it and remain unmoveable, and unchageable in our stand as His believers.
Romans 10:9-10 KJV.." If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
The Holy Scriptures challenge the believer in Jesus Christ to continually examine himself to determine if he is still in "the faith". This self-examination is essential for proper Christian growth and development in the principles of the kingdom of God. Likewise failure to observe this statute opens the door to self-deception and error in living. We must learn to judge ourselves first.
Matthew 7:13-14 King James Version (KJV)
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is always watching over His people; He watches over the entire world. There is never a time when our heavenly Father is too busy, too pre-occupied, too challenged to be mindful of each of us. He watches over us intently, even in the night. When our hearts are breaking, Our God is there to comfort and to heal us. When we need a listening ear, He hears our cries. He hears, He knows, and He understands, always! The Holy Spirit brings us deep comfort, deep down in our souls. He is there in our sorrow. He is there in our joy. He is there in the middle of the night. Jesus Christ is ALWAYS present for you!
Psalm 42:8
Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.
There is time a to seek the Lord for the "healing and deliverance" that is much needed in your life. You MUST PRESS into it. You must behave as though nothing else matters in life above the healing and deliverance from the hand of God that you are seeking from Him. Hobbies and pastimes laid aside, television and distractions removed. Familiar activites held at bay. You must move forward despite the obstacles to get into His presence; to spend time at His feet. You must move past all failures and disappointments. You must overcome discouragement! You must ignore the lies of the enemy. You MUST PRESS through frustration and focus your mind on Jesus. You Must EXPECT to BE HEALED!
2 Timothy 1:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
God loves and cherishes a cheerful giver, one who does not hold back, but gives freely and in merciful kindness. God loves a giver who gives because he loves; God acts this way. God gives to us all things freely which are needed in life and which promote godly living. God gives liberally without chiding us. God gives to us without using His generosity as a tool of manipulation. God gives us life, food, shelter, clothing, peace, joy, love, protection, wisdom, knowledge, and so much more. He has given Himself in His Son Jesus Christ to die for us. Seeing that we have received so graciously and abundantly, what shall we give to the Lord?
Proverbs 3:7-10 King James Version (KJV)
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
The Lord Jesus Christ came to earth and gave His life that sinners might be saved. If sinners could have saved themselves by doing good works or by doing certain "rituals", He would not have needed to die. But He did DIE FOR US, because we could not save ourselves in any manner. There were no works that we could have done that would have "earned" salvation and redemption for us. Likewise there are no works that we do now, that will guarantee us entrance into heaven.
Jeremiah 31:31-33 King James Version (KJV)
31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
As believers and followers of the Lord Jesus Christ we are called to follow His example, so that all who are lacking in knowledge and truth concerning our Lord and our God will receive insight and inspiration from His light shining through us. We are called to act in ways that are contrary to the natural course because our "supernatural" God is seated on the throne of our hearts. As He reigns in us we submit to His commandments, statutes, laws, and ordinances. We reverence Him with obedience to His ways, and thusly honor Him with our lives.
Galatians 5:22-23 King James Version (KJV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
He walks around, as a "roaring lion" looking for those whom he can take advantage of, capture, and defeat. He is always on the prowl for those whom he can destroy. But he is not all that he presents himself as. He is a fraud. He has been found to be a liar. He has been cast down, and expelled from the presence of God Almighty. Yet believers are "fearful" of our enemy, the Devil. Jesus Christ faced him off, and Jesus Christ was NOT afraid nor moved by the Devil (Satan).
Jesus Christ DEAFETED Satan the Devil !
1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour
GREAT NEWS ! Jesus Christ STILL HEALS ! He has not stopped at all ! It is the Lord's desire to see all people healed of their sicknesses and diseases. He DIED for us to receive this blessing. He took lashes upon His body to ensure that His healing power and grace flows to us. He hung on the cross of Calvary so that we could be healed. Surely we can receive his offer to us. After ALL that He has done, will we let His sacrifice go by, as if it were in vain ?
1 Corinthians 11:23-24 King James Version (KJV)
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Beloved, let's face the facts, or at least the obvious ones. We ALL have doubts concerning something that we have not fully understood. Sometimes it's challenging to believe that which we have never seen nor experienced. Our carnal nature is prone to disbelieve, question, doubt, and to turn away. Be reminded though that the carnal nature of mankind, will not enable us to walk with our God. It is not effective nor fruitful in experiencing this journey with Him. We must choose a different method. We cannot rely on self to direct our inquiry or to answer our questions, we must make room for His Spirit to lead the way.
Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Many of the temptations that we face in this life are the result of our own passions and desires. We are also tempted, as Jesus was, by the devil. It is certain that the temptations initiated by the devil are to cause us to fall away from the Lord and to mar our testimony. Those temptations which find their root in our own lusts are often cloaked in good intentions, thus making them more difficult to disern. Nonetheless, every temptation which we yield to will eventually lead us away from the will and purpose of the Lord for our lives.
1 Corinthians 10:13 King James Version (KJV)
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
"Lord, I want to please you with my life, but what shall I do ? " That's a question asked by many Christians, even more matured ones. The Lord has an answer for all of us. Even Saul of Tarsus asked this question on the road to Damascus.
Acts 9:2-6 King James Version (KJV)
2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
When believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and His works cease to move FORWARD with Him, they slide backward. It is quite simple. There can not be a place with no movement at all. Either we are moving forward with Jesus Christ, or we are moving away from Him and backslidding. Either we are choosing Him and His ways moment for moment, or else we have strayed away from Him. We are either listening to His voice and obeying Him, or we are hearing other voices and are now in confusion. God is not the author of confusion. His sheepfold know His voice, and they are continually following Him.
Proverbs 14:14 KJV
The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways....
The enemy of our souls, satan, has brought together forces in order to wage war against the Church of Jesus Christ. It is a tremendous attempt to sabotage and block the advances that the Church is making into his territory. But the Church will not relinquish its position in Christ Jesus nor surrender any ground that has been taken back in battle. The enemy has prepared attacks against our mins and souls; nevertheless the weapons that God has given us and His power are undefeatable.
Ephesians 6:10 King James Version (KJV)
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
2 Timothy 1:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
When Abraham needed a burnt offering to sacrifice and to offer to God, God provided a ram in the thicket. When Ruth and Naomi needed a kinsman redeemer, God provided Boaz. When God's people needed a faithful leader to direct them into the Promised Land, God provided Moses. When the widow woman needed sustainence for her and her son, God provided a prophet and a miracle. When the whole world needed a Savior to die for their sins, God gave His Son, Jesus Christ. Whenever their has been a need, God has provided. He also provides the day of wrath for the wicked.
Philippians 4:19 King James Version (KJV)
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Life is filled with much misfortune and difficult circumstances through which we must navigate. We must be careful not to judge others by our own opinions. When others experience tragedy, it is easy to think that somehow this event could have been avoided." Why didn't they see this coming?" " Didn't they know that this type of situation never works out?" "This just doesn't make any sense at all !" " We tried to warn him, but he just wouldn't listen !" " You know an ounce of prevention is still worth more than a pound of cure !" Yes, we say these things, but do they make the situation any better? Do they help the one in trouble?
James 2:15-17 King James Version (KJV)
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Psalm 127:3 King James Version (KJV)
3 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Children are handed down to mankind from the Lord, and we will give an account to Him for how we have managed their future. Children, the fruit of the womb, are the reward that comes to the Lord for all that He has done and endured for mankind. Yes, there is a reward for the Lord God.
Psalm 22:10 King James Version (KJV)
10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.
The Lord our God is GOD. There is no other God beside Him. He alone is the Sovereign Supreme Ruler of all Universes, past, present, and future. All must bow to Him, whether in this life or in the life to come. He alone determines the order in which He is to be served, not us. When the Lord speaks to us we MUST listen to Him. His Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. If we refuse to believe His Truth what hope do we have?
" Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, Today if ye will hear His voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted Me, proved Me, and saw My works forty years." Hebrews 3:7-9 KJV
If we are to experience the REVIVAL that the Lord has planned for these last and evil days, we must do those things that the Lord requires of us. It is God's plan and His will that will lead us to the blessings that He has prepared for us to receive. Man attempts to plan his way..but the Lord directs his steps. Are your decisions in agreement with the will of God? Do you seek His face daily to be in obedience to His plan for your day? Do you humble yourself and submit to His will even when you would rather not ? or do you choose to revolt and rebell against Almighty God ?
Deuteronomy 32:4 King James Version (KJV)
4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
Luke 22:42 King James Version (KJV)
42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
Jesus Christ always knew how to win a battle against satan. He always had the right method, the right timing, the right target, the right words. Jesus Christ NEVER FAILED in warfare against the enemy. Jesus Christ is our example in spiritual warfare. He is the Lord of Hosts. He leads His army onto the battlefield to conquer and to win.
Ephesians 6:11-13 King James Version (KJV)
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
" Well what if it doesn't work out...but then again why would it fail ?' Have you ever faced a situation that was a REAL challenge ? Have you ever thought that the situation just may not work out at all ? Most of us no matter our age have experienced this fear at some time. The Word of God holds many answers and solutions to this dilemma if we will avail ourselves to His holy counsel.
Job 3:25 King James Version (KJV)
25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Well ! What will people say if you tell them about Jesus Christ ? What would they say if you told them that you have seen a miracle ? What would they say if you told them that Jesus Christ is alive ? What would they say if you told them that He speaks to you from the Holy Bible ? What would they say if you told them that you can perceive the sin in their lives ? What would they say if you told them that the Holy Spirit has shown you things about the future ? What will they say once you walk away ? What will they REALLY think of you ? Does it matter to you ? Does it matter to God ? What will God say ?
Proverbs 22:1 King James Version (KJV)
22 A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
God is in the building and blessing business! He is building His Kingdom and adding to His Kingdom daily souls that should be saved. He is calling His Church to work in the family business. He is calling each of us to do our part. He is calling for each of us to give of ourselves unselfishly so that the harvest may be brought in. This unselfish labor of love requires unity in His body, in His Church.
2 Kings 10:15 KJV..." And when he had departed thence,he lighted on Jehonahdab the son of Rechab coming to meet him: and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my heart is with thy heart ? And Jehonadab answered, It is. If it be give me thine hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took him up into the chariot.
Our God has ALWAYS existed and He will ALWAYS be in existance. He is GOD, and all others are liars. There is no other God, besides Him. There are no other alternatives to the Supreme Diety. Our God is the ONLY GOD that will ever be. All attempts to replace Him with any other being, pleasure, motivation, desire, endeavor, or practice is IDOLATRY. HE is GOD and GOD ALONE.
Isaiah 43:10-11 King James Version (KJV)
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
11 I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.
1 John 5:3 KJV
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. God's commands to us should not cause us grief, sorrow, aggrevation, or appear to be burdensome: it should be a joy to obey Him! But what if we don't really like what He says? What if we don't agree with what He requires? What if we just don't want to do it? What if we resent His call? What do we do in that case? Do we ignore Him ? Do we come up with our own plan? Do we devise another method ? Do you try to evade Him in hopes of getting out of it?
We each need to know how much we love God. Loving God really means doing what He tells us to do, and really, that isn't hard at all. Any of God's children can obey Him. We can defeat sin and evil pleasures by trusting Jesus Christ to help us.
The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin. (Exodus 34:6). Our God loves us; yes He does! He holds Himself back from punishing offenders. He extends kindness beyond what fairness dictates. His love is forbearance with much compassion. His sympathy and empathy of our plight, move Him to act on behalf of those who are in distress.
Isaiah 54:7-8 King James Version (KJV)
7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.
Many situations present a challenge to the believer in Jesus Christ. We should not be concerned because our God will help us through every situation and around every obstacle. He knows the way that we take. He is already with us in the midst of our struggle. He will teach us. He will direct our steps. He will guide us onto the right path. He will make the matter plain to us. He will comfort us. As we cast each care upon Him, He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 55:22 KJV..Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Deuteronomy 1:29-30..."Dread not, neither be afraid of them. The Lord your God which goeth before you, He shall fight for you.
The Sword of the Spirit is the WORD OF GOD ! Jesus Christ spoke the WORD to defeat the enemy. We must know the Word, believe the WORD, trust the WORD, and we must SPEAK the WORD against the enemy to defeat him. The weapons of our warfare are not earthly; they are powerful weapons given to us by God to use in our warfare against satanic powers ! When God speaks the WORD out of His mouth, they do not return to Him without doing what He spoke. His Words are not empty but filled with POWER! When we speak the WORD against the enemy it has the very same effect.
Isaiah 55:10-11 King James Version (KJV)
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
The Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ responds to the prayers of His belivers when they operate in His faith. When we come to pray we must approach our heavenly Father in a posture of belief, trust, and faith. Doubt, fear, and unbelief hinder our prayer lives and negate or diminish or desired outcomes. Our prayers are to be founded on the Word of God. Our prayers must please God, and without faith it is impossible to please Him.
Philippians 4:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Fasting is an act of humility and submission unto the Lord God Almighty. The world uses food abstinence for various reasons: a means of healing, a protest against mistreatment, weight loss, etc. However, to the sincere and faithful believer in Jesus Christ, it is a means of humbling the soul and will before our God. Sin entered the human race by disobeying and rebelling against God through eating that which was forbidden. In fasting we abstain from eating and we only partake of that which is permitted.
God has given other guidelines as well. These statues declare what God desires from His people, and the fast that is acceptable to Him. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
According to the Holy Scriptures we are admonished to speak the truth in love; and love worketh no ill towards his neighbor. Why is it that when we open our mouths to speak many times what we say is not the truth? In our minds we fully intend to do whatever we have uttered from our lips. Yet when the sun goes down, what we spoke is not what we performed. Sometimes we simply forget about it; but our actions have made our words to become lies. We don't intend to mislead, but we do it nonetheless. God is faithful; unlike us He keeps His Word. 2 Corinthians 1:20 KJV..." For all the promises of God in Him are Yea, and in Him Amen.
Numbers 23:19 KJV..God is not a man that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it ? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?
HOLY COMMUNION TONIGHT...Fasting begins July 7, 2020 6:00am (your time)
" But ye shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and YE SHALL BE WITNESSES UNTO ME..."
Saints, we are called and appointed to be witnesses unto Jesus Christ everywhere we are! This revelation is a tremendous awakening to most believers. In a world where people are isolating themselves from others, we are called out to be witnesses for the Lord.
Many of us have received the Holy Ghost and tasted of God's heavenly gift to us...but have we continued on to become a witness for Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord? Witnessing is for ALL CHRISTIANS ! Are we asking the Lord to send lost persons across our path ? Are we asking the Lord to use us each day in His plan ? Have we surrendered our lives and agendas to the Lord ? Do we love the Lord enough to care? Are we too selfish ?
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Romans 14:17 KJV
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost
James 3:18 KJV King James Version (
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace
We believe that we really do know ourselves. Peter believed that too. But when Peter was tempted he didn't have the strength to manifest the words that he had promised the Lord.
Matthew 26:31-35 King James Version (KJV)
31 Then saith Jesus unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
32 But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.
33 Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.
34 Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.
Have you ever felt as though you were all alone? Have you ever sensed that empty feeling deep inside of you? Have you ever longed for true companionship ? Have you ever needed someone to care about you? Not about what they could do for you, but just about you? Have you ever wanted someone to celebrate your life and its significance without selfish motives ? Do you crave for someone to care? Have you ever wanted someone to appreciate you without lusting for your body? Do you wish that they didn't respond as though you're a responsibility or a chore?
Well Jeremiah 31:3 is the Lord's answer to you....
Jeremiah 31:3 King James Version (KJV)
3 The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee
John 14:18 King James Version (KJV)
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
The AWESOME POWER of The WORD of GOD! God's WORD endures forever. His WORD never fails ! His WORD is sure, certain, steadfast, and can always be depended upon to come to past. Oh that God's people would reverence His WORD !
Hebrews 11:3 King James Version (KJV)
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Romans 10:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Hurrry...got to get it done...and I need to...there are so many things that I have to do that Jesus will be back before I get through! Get up tommorrow and do it all over again! That's how we sound. That's what we say....but Jesus says to us ..."Come unto ME, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly of heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."
Quietness of spirit is found in our faith and trust in our God and His miracle delivering power. When we choose to put our confidence in His Word and trust Him, we enter into His rest and His peace come upon us. In quietness and confidence we will find our strength.
The Bible states in Psalm 103 that God is merciful, He is compassionate and lenient. He is gracious. He shows us kindness and courtesy. He is slow to be angry with us. He will not always scold, reprove, or continually contend with us. Nor does He keep His justified anger always and forever. He has not treated us as our sins have indicated that we deserve; for the wages of sin is death. He has not paid us back according to our continual wrongdoing as we have received from our upbringing. How grateful we should be!
He says to us in Matthew 5....that we have heard it said that we should love our neighbors and hate our enemies. But instead He counsels us to behave as He does for we are His children. He tells us to love our enemies, bless them that curse us, do good to those that hate us, and pray for those who despitefully use us and persecute us. He tells us that this shows that we are His children. And yes, we are to execute spiritual warfare against evil spirits.
The CHURCH of the LORD JESUS CHRIST is called to pray without ceasing (1 Thes 5:17). We are to GIVE OURSELVES to prayer. Not merely prayers for ourselves and that which concerns our lives, but we are to pray for men everywhere. We are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and for all who are in authority. We are to pray for leaders in the CHURCH, and for all who work in God's vineyard. We are to pray for our nation, for its peoples, and for all the inhabitants in the earth.
Isaiah 55:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Matthew 7:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you
Joy ! Joy ! Joy! Success! There is NO FAILURE in Jesus Christ! He has the power and the authority to do all that He says He can do. Do you believe this? If you don't believe this, you have found your open door for failure. No one can change this but YOU. Following Jesus is a journey free of failure when you walk by faith and not by sight. Our God is able to do exceeding, abundantly above ALL that we can ask or think.
Jeremiah 32:27 King James Version (KJV)
27 Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Why should you be anxious ? Be faithful to Jesus now. Tommorrow could be your crowning day. Tell them about Jesus today. Hesitate no longer, don't leave them in the darkness. Point to the Light of the World. Tell them about Jesus' love today. They will be lost without your words to guide them. Tell about your first love! Tell them how He saved your soul! Tell them how He protects and provides. Tell them what He's done for you. Tell them about Jesus NOW !
Psalm 107:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy
Proverbs 14:25 King James Version (KJV)
25 A true witness delivereth souls
" IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, NEVER AGAIN WILL WE ALLOW SATAN TO CONTROL OUR LIVES !" " WE ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST."
1 Corinthians 12:27 King James Version (KJV)
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
1 John 5:4-5 King James Version (KJV)
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Giving our very best for the God's glory and for His kingdom is commendable. Godly ambition of this nature is praise worthy; but worldly competition is based on a false sense of values. Self-exaltation birthed in pride neither honors God nor His kingdom.
Matthew 5:16 KJV
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
1 Corinthians 3:3 King James Version (KJV)
3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
" Loose lips sink ships" or at least that 's how the saying goes. The Word of God has a more profound perspective.
Proverbs 10:19 KJV
In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise. Ahhh. Closing our mouths at the right time and refraining from conversation or discussion can be righteous in the eyes of God ? Who knew it ? Well it appears that not many do!
Leviticus 19:16 King James Version (KJV)
16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people:... I am the Lord.
Cursing, foul language proceeding from our mouths and our hearts is a SIN against our God. It should not be named among the righteous. However, many persons are yet to overcome this work of the flesh. Our God will enable us to walk in victory if we make the right choice.
Psalm 51:9-10 King James Version (KJV)
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
When Jesus Christ lived on the earth as a human being, He depended on the power that His Father gave to Him. He did all of the marvelous miracles that He performed based on the power that was released to Him from His heavenly Father. Jesus did not operate in His own power. He operated in the delegated authority that was given to Him by His heavenly Father.
John 7:28 King James Version (KJV)
28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not
HOLY COMMUNION ON SUNDAY
In order to win the battle we must be willing to FIGHT! God has NO PLANS for any defeat. We must choose to take aggressive action against the enemy. We must press the battle in the Spirit. We must use the power and authority that God has given to us.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 King James Version (KJV)
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ
" Help ! Help ! Somebody please help me ! I've fallen into sin and I can't get up !" It would be truthful if most believers had the courage to make this plea for help. As it stands most believers fall down and don't get up. But God has other plans for His bride.
Jesus is returning for a church that He has made holy and cleansed with the washing of water by His Word. He plans to present her to Himself. His aim is that she will be GLORIOUS ! When He completed His work in her she will be without spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing. He will present her in true holiness and without blemish.
Jesuc Christ WON the victory by submitting Himself to those who had the rule over Him. He submitted Himself to His Father, God. He submitted Himslef to His earthly parents. He submitted Himself to the governing authorities of His day. He submitted to the Sanhedrin and to the Roman government. In humble submission to those who had been placed over Him, He honored God in obedience. Saints we ought so to walk as He walked.
1 Peter 2:12-14 King James Version (KJV)
12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well
Victory through submission ? How is that possible ? What is God asking me to do ? How can I do this ? Why should I ?
Saints we MUST give God first place in our lives. This is NOT a suggestion. It is essential . It MUST BE DONE. It is not possible to walk with the Lord without rendering to Him due honor and allegiance because of who He is. He is God and God alone. When we fail to submit ourselves to Him; we make of our selves our "own god" ! This is rebellion, idolatry, and iniquity. Rebellion and Idolatry bring forth more sin, more curses, more judgments, and Satan's rulership in our lives along with seven times worse demons. Failure to submit to God results in loss of blessings, backsliding, and the inability to stand against the devil. Saints we must make the RIGHT CHOICE.
Revelation 1:8 King James Version (KJV)
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Excessive, false, and insincere (in-sin) praise...can God honor it ? Should anyone believe it ? Sometimes we are so gullible, but there is no truth in it ! Is there a selfish motive lying beneath this "praise" in order to snare or to secure some benefit ? Some call it "flattery" . God says that it is vain. It is NOT the "REAL THING"! Smiling faces tell lies...and there's plenty of proof.
Proverbs 26:28 King James Version (KJV)
28 A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.
" God's got an army that's marching through the land ! Deliverance is their song. There's healing in their hands. Everlasting joy and gladness in their hearts; in this army I've got a part! " Well you may not have met the qualifications for the army of your country, but you can have a part in God's Army. This army is not stiff and unyielding. This army is not submerged in dogmas and rituals. This army has liberty. This army has joy and everlasting gladness. Come and join us!
Acts 13:52 King James Version (KJV)
52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.
Jesus said "...I do always those things that please Him (the Father) John 8:29 KJV. So should it be with every believer, we should always do those things which please the Father. Well...what stops us? What keeps getting in the way ? Have we failed to understand that a fleshly lifestyle brings death or is there more to it?
Ephesians 4:23-24 King James Version (KJV)
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Don' t worry! Be thankful in the Lord ! Rest yourself on Him! Can you change the whole world ? NOT ! Let's face the truth! If you could fix everything you'd have already done it. You can't ! It's that simple. So let's choose to TRUST the ONE who can handle everything! Jesus Christ is Lord of All.
1 Peter 5:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Blessings...gifts of God's favor toward us. They often manifest as events or circumstances that produce or lead to what is needed or desired. Blessings often prevent misfortune or undesirable situations. God's blessings to us remind us of His tender care and love for us. Blessings fulfill promises that God has made to His people. God's blessing many times lead people to true repentance.
Galatians 3:9 King James Version (KJV)
9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
Saints sometimes we must ENCOURAGE OURSELVES.Yes that's right! You must do it for yourself ! We cannot expect that someone else will always be available for us to encourage us. That's not very practical nor spiritual. Each of us should develop the discipline of speaking the Word of God over our own lives. We believe what we say to ourselves. Faith comes by hearing...it comes by hearing the Word of God. So SPEAK GOD'S WORD to YOURSELF and be encouraged in the Lord.
1 Samuel 30:6
And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but Davidencouragedhimself in the Lord his God.
There are times in our journey with the Lord when we have experienced great hurt, sorrow, loss, disappointment, discouragement, or just unable to find our hope, that we NEED the comfort of the Lord. There will be places in our sojurn here on earth where human touch is no longer soothing. The pain has been too severe, too deep, too intense for too long. It is at these times that we NEED the comfort of our God. Earth bears no suffering, nor sorrow, nor regret that the Healer cannot heal. We sometimes are so unhappy that nothing will comfort us. We have become so dissatisfied, so frustrated, and we are exasperated! We are restless for something more..some thing different. Our God cares. He knows it all! OurGod heals us with His Love!
Psalm 30:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 ... in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Deuteronomy 32:30 King James Version (KJV)....30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight...
Leviticus 26:8
And five of you shall chasean hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword
The Lord our God has designed a winning strategy for His people. In this strategy He is present in our midst to lead us to victory. He releases His Power for one of us to chase an hundred or a thousand, but with the agreement of a few more saints tremendous results are achieved.
HOLY COMMUNION TONIGHT
Your Mind is ...a BEAUTIFUL thing created by God Himself, and a TERRIBLE thing to waste! Our minds are directly connected to our hearts. With our hearts and minds we can take in the magnificence of God our Creator; or we can sink into the depths of depravity. We can enjoy the triumphs of others, and we can share in their sorrows. In temptation we can "count it all joy", or we can wallow in depression. We can access the mind of Christ, or we can turn our minds and hearts over to Satan and his demons. Your mind is too precious to waste!
2 Corinthians 10:5 King James Version (KJV)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ

God has given us a BOLD and FEARLESS spirit! God has NOT GIVEN us a spirt of fear! NO! God has given us a spirit of POWER. God has given us a spirit of LOVE. God has given us a spirit of a SOUND MIND. Cowardice is not our portion from the Lord, but boldness and fearlessness in the face of adversity, trial, torment, and trouble. No backing down to the tactics of the devil. No confusion about what to do. Cleaving to the mind of Christ. Choosing to continually move forward in the Lord and in His power.
2 Timothy 1:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
HOLY COMMUNION TODAY
" I can FEEL myself getting angry!" Someone has "lost" their temper. Yes, someone has failed in their attempts to resist being easily angered or offended. Is that someone you? Is this your area of weakness? Is this your habitual tendency toward this discreditable sin? Are you "touchy" ? Can others express their feelings and thoughts to you without you becoming irritable, grouchy, out-of-sorts, offended, over-inflated with self, embarrassed, or explosive? Anger management issues? Do you "replay" the perceived "offense" over and over in your thoughts? In the "heat" of anger eh?
James 1:19-20 King James Version (KJV)
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
OH how sweet it is! Sweet Sleep from our Saviour. Many persons are now trying to catch up on sleep previously lost. The present crisis has forced many to re-evaluate their lives and busy schedules. Many are discovering that there are benefits to resting, reflecting, and receiving proper sleep. Our God gives freedom from fear and "sweet sleep". It's the little foxes in our lives that keep us from receiving ALL of God's best for us.
Song of Solomon 2:15
Take us the foxes, the littlefoxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes
The Sin of PRIDE! How God hates it! It keeps His presence and His blessings at bay. It is a form of hatred...not an expression of God's love. Ephesians 4:2 KJV....with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love. Our present culture has been over taken by aggressiveness and haughtiness; it has crept into every aspect of our living, even in driving. People are no longer considerate of one another. We are no longer patient with the elderly, handicapped, or with the young. Our culture has launched into a pit of failure by over-emphasing the "importance" of self-satisfaction rather than pleasing God and serving one another. But it was not so with our Savior, Jesus Christ! He came to seek out those who were in need of salvation, and save them. Mark 10:44 KJV...And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. In order to be the head of the household, you must become the SERVANT of the household first. If you are to be the chief, you must humble yourself and serve everyone. The GREATEST POSITION in the world, it that of an humble servant. If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.
The sin of pride displays itself as an over-high opinion of oneself; an exaggerated sense of self-esteem; acting in a conceited manner. It speaks to an excessive belief in your own worth, merit, or superiority. Pride is accompanied by an inordinate desire to be admired by others or to receive recognition for some achievement or quality (whether real or perceived). Persons who are seeking recognition are "ripe" for this demonic trap. Persons who "KNOW' that they are humble usually are not. Arrogance, unwarranted self-importance, overbearance, impatience, touchiness, and haughty behaviors are hallmarks of this brand of carnality. Seeking for oneself the honor and glory that properly belongs to God. Racial pride, gender pride, intellectual pride, social pride, pride of beauty, talents, abilities, religion, position, or wealth...IT"S ALL THE SIN OF PRIDE!
Proverbs 28:25 King James Version (KJV)
25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall be made fat
1 John 2:16 King James Version (KJV)
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world
We destined to have a CLASH !!! It will be between the forces of darkness of this world and the Church of Jesus Christ. Two cannot walk together unless there is agreement, and there is NO AGREEMENT here. Where do you stand ? Who is on the Lord's side? On the Lord's side we're binding the strongman, we're loosing the captives, we're slaying "goliaths", we're setting the prisoners FREE ! We're headed for a showdown ! Let dangers come; let man come against us; let trials and afflictions come; for in our Lord Jesus Christ we've got the ultimate victory.
Revelation 12:11 KJV ...And they overcame him bythebloodoftheLamb, and bythe word oftheir testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 King James Version (KJV) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
AHHHH...APPRECIATION! The acknowledgment of true worth, true value, the power of His influence in our lives. We NEED to recognize the immeasurable worth of the Savior, and the power of His sacrifice for our souls. But how can we do this if we don't yet recognize the importance and true value of those who have befriended us? How can we say that we love God whom we have not seen, and not be grateful for those who have attempted to help us? What phonies we have become! We give to the poor (and that is good, we want to think well of ourselves); but we take for granted those who pray for us daily and sacrifice their time and energies on our behalf.
Deuteronomy 32:9-10KJV..For the Lord's portion is his people....he kept him as the apple of his eye. GOD CHERISHES US! He holds us dear..He takes good care of us and protects us. He is unwilling to do without a people of His own! When we show appreciation by giving praise to and thankgiving for those who bless our lives, we are giving God thanks. When we have done it to others, we have done it to Him. God wants a people devoted to Him! (Ephesians 5:27)
HOLY COMMUNION
Satan has planned much deception and delusion to come upon the people and he will use it to attack the Body of Christ. This attack of lies that "appear to be" facts or truth is not limited to unbelievers or weak, worldly Christians. It will invade the groups of Christains who consider themselves to be knowledgable, and bible-based. Satan has released demons of deception, delusion, lying spirits, and seducing spirits that are attacking the Spirit-filled, on-fire, sold-out Christains.
Many blind Christains still believe that it is not possible for them to be deceived by Satan EVER!
Romans 12:3
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think ofhimself more highlythan he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith
Proverbs 23:23 King James Version (KJV) Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
God exhibits HIS overwhelming love for us in that while we were still wretched, miserable sinners, Christ (who was without any sin at all) died for us! What GREAT LOVE! Jesus Christ sweat drops of His blood in resisting the devil and defeating the flesh (self) to win the victory for us. We have received a love that knows no bounds and has no limits; surely having received such mercy we can tolerate the differences and weaknesses that we find in others. We who are NOT PERFECT can certainly find empathy, longsuffering, patience, compassion, and forbearance for others who are weak.
Matthew 5:43-47 King James Version (KJV)
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Whenever you feel lonely, abondoned, exiled, separated, desperate, forgotten....you should remember that the Lord Jesus Christ loves YOU. He died for YOU. He cares for YOU. He NEVER forgets you. Jesus Christ is ALWAYS NEAR YOU. His heart of love is always OPEN TO YOU. YOU NEED HIS COMFORT. Trust Jesus to comfort you. Trust Jesus Christ to love YOU.
Isaiah 41:10 King James Version (KJV)
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness
Deuteronomy 31:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee
Our God, our Commander in Chief of the Lord's Armies, delivers our enemies supernaturally into our hands! Just as He did for Joshua and the armies of Israel. Joshua and the army fought until they had slaughtered the Amorites. The very few who escaped the sword of Joshua ran in terror away from him. So it should be with us..for our God is no respect of persons.
Joshua 10:7-11 King James Version (KJV)
7 So Joshua ascended from Gilgal, he, and all the people of war with him, and all the mighty men of valour.
8 And the Lord said unto Joshua, Fear them not: for I have delivered them into thine hand; there shall not a man of them stand before thee.
9 Joshua therefore came unto them suddenly, and went up from Gilgal all night.
10 And the Lord discomfited them before Israel, and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and chased them along the way that goeth up to Bethhoron, and smote them to Azekah, and unto Makkedah.
11 And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the Lord cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.
Believers in Jesus Christ, those who are following Him with their whole hearts, have a unique challenge. We must be DETERMINED to do the will of God regardless of the cost! Jesus Christ was determined, regardless of the cost, to do the Father's will. We must do likewise. John14:31 KJV...But that the wold may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do
John 18:11 KJV Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?
We make choices and decisions daily. Many of them are good choices and bring profitable results. However, some are not. We must make the effort to position ourselves to make the BEST POSSIBLE decision at a given time. We need TRUTH and facts. Little do we realize that the consequences of our choices may become life or death to ourselves or to someone else. At times like these we NEED our all wise Savior.
Jeremiah 12:3a KJV...But thou, O Lord, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and tried mine heart toward thee
1 Kings 18:21 KJV And Elijah came to all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions?
Poor eyesight...is it biological or is it spiritual? Perhaps both...you decide. Comparing means to examine and to determine the similarities and/or differences of two or more things, ideas, or persons. People have a tendency to compare themselves with other people. When we compare ourselves with others, it may be a form of jealousy and can lead to envy and discontentment. This type of comparison is not wise according to the scriptures. This SIN sprouts from a root of a failure to trust in the Lord's love and fairness to us.
1 Samuel 18:8-9 KJV...
And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?
9 And Saul eyed David from that day and forward
Romans 9:20-21 KJV...
Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour
There is no battle that a born-again believer in Jesus Christ cannot win over the enemy. Victory has been obtained for us by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord. He has WON the VICTORY!!!
Matthew 28:18 KJV..And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Acts 1:8 KJV..But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you
Philippians 2:9-11 KJV... Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
.
Jesus Christ was always "on point"; He was NEVER caught "off guard" by the enemy! Though He walked in human flesh and experienced all of the temptations and weaknesses that are a part of the human experience; yet He lived without sin. This same challenge is before all of us. Over time our zeal for the things of God may "wear off". We do not receive "instant" answers to prayers. We get too busy to pay attention to the inroads of the enemy. We are easily distracted with the carnal life....and then it happens! A "spirit of complacency" has set in and we are now easy pickings for the enemy.
1 Corinthians 10:12 KJV...Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth takeheed lest he fall.
Luke 10:19 KJV..Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.
What will you do with what God has already given to you? Circumstances speak into your mind and tell you that there isn't much that you can do about your situation. But that was not the voice of the Savior. Just as the woman who ministered to Elijah and prepared for him a small meal first, there is also "something" that God has given to you to change your life for good. It will bless you and others that your life touches. God is calling for your "something" to be brought forth. He wants to bless it and use it to bless many.
Galatians 6:7 KJV.....whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Ephesians 3:20 KJV...Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
Israel had a choice to make and they made the wrong choice. We are not altogether different from them although we live in a season of grace before God. One of the strategies that Satan used against them was to get them to harden their hearts against God.
Jeremiah 32:33 KJV..And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.
Hebrews 3:7-8 KJV...
Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
Depression is considered as a major illness affecting millions of persons yearly. Suicide is a leading cause of death. Society considers depression to be a serious health threat which often triggers other major health problems affecting the body. Satan and his demons use depression as a counterattack against the Church and those who would be saved. We are not ignorant of the strategies of the demons.
John 10:10 KJV...The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 8:44 KJV...(speaking of Satan). He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it..
It has happened to all of us at a moment of temptation; the desire to repay an injury received. Yes, we are stll human; but we have received pardon and forgiveness from Him who gave His Life for us. God's love in us does not seek to even the score, nor to react in hatred. God's love is LONGSUFFERING. God's love is PATIENT AND KIND. God 's love is MEEK.
Proverbs 11:17 KJV.. The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.
Galatians 5:22-23 KJV...
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance
Standing on God's promise in the holy scriptures, and relying steadfastly on His Almighty power is the way to overcome obstacles and to succeed. When we trust in the Lord we have noting to fear, because there is NO FAILURE in our God.
Numbers 23:19 KJV.. God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Job 42:2 KJV..I know that thou canst do every thing.
Christains are "LIVING EPISTLES" which are read by all men. From the moment that the world discovers that we are indeed Christians, it provokes many different responses. Some good, some not so good. Regardless of who we are as persons we are now "visible" and being carefully watched by others. We are judged, critiqued, analyzed, snubbed, praised, and admired; all of this and MORE! It does not matter how young or mature we are in Christ, others are constantly measuring us by their own standards.
Our heavenly Father knows all of this and is ready to help us succeed. He says to us..
Proverbs 28:13 KJV..13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Isaiah 1:18 KJV...18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool..
Beloved, far too many of Jesus' saints have listened to Satan's lie that stress is inevitable. They have been told and believed that stress is a condition that we all must learn to live with. NOT SO; Satan is the father of all LIES! We may be living in a world filled with stress..but we do not have to be filled with the stress of the world. The world is desperately seeking a man designed solution to stress...but only our God has the true cure. Our God has given to us a solution, cure and ability to OVERCOME STRESS.
John 16:33 KJV...These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In theworld ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcometheworld.
