Working with a new voice toolset, this is experment 1. Includes artifact elements, loopbacks, and some particularly fun errors.
Good phone, trash audio. Waken up in the middle of the night to one under the window, and by the time I got the phone fired up, they were way off in the woods, so there's all kinds of audio cleanup - much failed - going on here.
Recording of a woodcock, made on a Samsung S20. Original goal was to use the call as an instrument, but when I normalized it, I heard this little quiet whoop just before the call and wondered what it was. Happens every time, and I think it might just be the indrawing of breath. Which is super cool as far as I'm concerned, so I'm sharing it.
Based on MIDI of the Goldberg Variations by JS Bach, the music here is geared towards drone and carrier.
