Moses failed at Kadesh Barnea to cross the River Jordan. However, Joshua because God encouraged him, and told him to be courageous by consistently studying his word, making sure his word was on his heart and in his mouth, so that his word will not depart from him. Then God gave him courage to lead the people of Israel though he was scared at the magnitude of the project, but here had good success because God was with him.
