And we can't behave our way out of spiritual death. That's why God sent us a Savior. Jesus died. He was buried. There is power and purpose in the Church - so we shouldn’t be walking around as people living powerless and purposeless lives!God’s purpose has always been to use the church to display his wisdom and power to both this world and the spiritual realm. This plan has been carried out through Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit to his people.Every time you choose to trust Jesus your roots grow deeper and you become stronger. The reason people feel powerless is that their roots haven’t grown deep. A shallow faith can love God’s Word- but deep faith loves God no matter what. A deep faith trusts God even when the prayers don’t get answered—when healing doesn’t come, when the plan doesn’t work out. A shallow faith is based on feelings. A deep faith is based on God. Every time you choose to trust Jesus, your roots grow deeper. The deeper your roots grow, the more you experience his love. The more you experience his love, the more his power flows through your life. Love is the source of God’s power.

What would it look like to move your kingdom into God’s kingdom?We can see the Kingdom of heaven while we’re still here on the earth, but how? Trust. Trust is the oxygen of heaven. From the beginning of Scripture to the end, we can see the thread of TRUST in everything God is calling His people to. The question for every one of us is whether or not we will truly relinquish control and allow the Kingdom of God to move in us and through us! We are created in God’s image. We are carriers of His glory. Will we wait on God? Will we depend on Him? Will we invite the Kingdom of heaven to earth and truly trust Him?
Nobody set a better example of how to finish well than Jesus. And Jesus didn’t just finish “well”, he finished perfectly. He started perfectly. What can we learn from the example of Jesus? When we do what Jesus did, we can experience the life he promised. Jesus showed us how to center ourselves on God through his baptism and immediate time of fasting in the desert. When we center ourselves on God, it requires us to depend on him. When we depend on him more, we get closer to him.And the closer we get to God, the more like him we become!
What’s the missing ingredient that leads to real transformation?Paul’s life shows how surrender changes the way we live, serve, and stay faithful over time. Solomon started well, but how did he finish? Just like Solomon, we all have choices to make every day. You don’t have to meet God’s perfect standard, because Jesus already did. God’s expectation is perfection, and sometimes we heap that expectation on ourselves instead of receiving the gift of grace.There is only one who can ever achieve perfection, and he took your place on the cross. The story of Christmas is one of a Savior who didn’t meet expectations for a lot of people. Maybe you can relate to that today.But the reason why Jesus didn’t meet the expectations of man is because he fulfilled the will of God. Jesus came to earth not to satisfy our wants, but to give us all we need! God’s will is that none would be left out of resurrection life, and that’s our invitation to you today. Receive the gift of grace that comes through Jesus Christ, and him alone! Merry Christmas!
When God saved YOU, he had someone else in mind. Faith that responds doesn’t just impact you, it impacts others. Salvation was never meant to be just a ticket to get us into the Kingdom of heaven, but an invitation to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth.Rahab’s story is a perfect example of exactly what can happen when you hear the truth, but don’t miss the miracle. You can hear the truth and still miss the miracle.It’s responding to the truth that truly transforms you and impacts those around you! God chooses the people nobody else would have chosen to be part of the greatest story ever told: The birth of his Son, Jesus. God doesn’t CANCEL broken people, he CHOOSES them…and then He USES them. Your past doesn’t disqualify you from taking part in the miracles of God. God wants to use you in your brokenness and regret. He uses broken people to reach broken people. If we all wait until we feel “perfect”, we’ll likely never step into our purpose. God can do miraculous things with a repentant heart. The story of David and Bathsheba is where we kick off our new Christmas series, and how Jesus is born through a lineage of what the world would have called hopeless.If you’re feeling hopeless today, or like you’re too far gone for God to reach, this message is for you!
What do we do when we believe that God is a God of immeasurably more, but our life’s circumstances feel like immeasurably less? We don’t worship God because He gives us what we WANT, we worship God because He’s everything we need.David set such a great example of what this looks like, to worship in the midst of tragic circumstances. It’s easy to let our situations cause us to doubt the goodness of God, but he is faithful, he hasn’t left you, and he hasn’t forsaken you!Our prayer is that this message would encourage you to get desperate for God in every season of life, whether your circumstances are great or not!
God doesn’t call us to be members of the church, but to be owners of the mission. We are called to advance the church, not just attend. When we are owners instead of members, we invest in what God is doing. Every time you give, serve, share your story…you are INVESTING in the Kingdom of God.God expects us to take responsibility with his resources. He’s entrusted all of us with something, but what will we do with it? The story in Matthew 25 gives us a great picture of God’s heart behind what it means to invest in His Kingdom.
We give to what we value. Where your treasure goes is where your heart flows. We don’t give out of obligation, but because God loves us. It’s always about our heart. He wants our whole heart. This message is all about realizing that what we “own” is on loan. The earth and everything in it belongs to God. What do we do with what he’s entrusted us with? Why do we give to the church? What does tithing even mean?This message will not only cast vision about the direction of Meadows Church, but clarify what God’s word says when it comes to giving to the church and how we can all be part of building God’s kingdom.
God deserves our first and our best, not what’s left.Living with firstfruit faith means trusting God first with our time, priorities, and resources. When we give Him our best, He blesses the rest. It’s not about what we give—it’s about who we trust.
FAITH = ACTIONIf we want God's blessings in our future, we must be faithful today. God has placed seeds in our hands, our GIFTS, TIME, and MONEY -- but if we hold onto them tightly, they'll never grow. When we sow with a generous heart, God promises to multiply our seed and increase our harvest. Anything done for God's Kingdom must come from the heart -- that's where lasting impact begins. Trust Him with what you have, and watch Him do more than you could imagine.
Your VISION should be IMPOSSIBLE without God's POWERAre you hesitant that what you're doing is what God wants? There are a few questions that can help answer that question honestly: -Have you talked to Him?-Have you fasted? -Have you waited on the Lord in solitude? -Have you cleaned up any sinful patterns?-Have you weeded out distractions that would prevent you from hearing God?What God has called you to do is not possible without Him. We need to allow the Holy Spirit to change the way we think,, transforming us from the inside out.

We all make plans for our lives… dreams of who we’ll be and what we’ll do. But sometimes, life doesn’t go the way we pictured. Mental illness, addiction, or brokenness can leave us feeling helpless and far from hope. The good news? God meets us right there. We don’t get stronger by pretending we’re fine. We get stronger by depending on Him. As we celebrate eight years of God’s faithfulness and the lives changed through baptism, we’re reminded that healing and new beginnings are possible for anyone who turns to Jesus. There’s hope for every story, and strength to be found in surrender.
Sometimes a breaking point is God’s building point. How can we be there for those who are at their breaking point? When you know someone going through a tragedy or a difficult time in life, your presence matters most.We see a great example of this through the story of Job and his three friends, who also help show us what NOT to do when someone we love is going through a hard time. Care is rarely convenient, but your presence says more than your words. And when the time is right, God will give you the words to say!
Your limits are an invitation to receive God’s care. Only God knows our deepest needs. Many times when it comes to our mental health, we’re the most vulnerable after a great victory or before a big breakthrough. Only God can meet your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs. Only through Jesus can we truly “defeat” the things we can’t define. Even the strongest, most faith-filled people have limits. Even the most resilient people have breaking points. Where do we turn in our time of need? We need to learn to run to Jesus!
Humility opens the door for healing. Sometimes the hardest part about struggling mentally is opening up to someone. But there is healing on the other side of humility. There is no shame or condemnation in Christ. He meets us where we are at. It’s okay to not be okay, but through Jesus, we don’t have to stay that way! Today’s message — with a special guest — is about taking a step of humility and the healing power that follows.
Fear asks, “WHAT IF?” Faith says, “GOD IS!” It can be easy to listen to fear. We fear the worst instead of assuming the best. We struggle with the constant need to please people instead of pleasing God. Here’s a new “What if?” for you: What if you were to say YES to what God offers you? What if you were to walk in obedience and trust him no matter what? This message will give you steps to doing that TODAY!
What happens when we get closer to Jesus? What happens when we go from the “Crowd” to the “Core”? The closer we get to Jesus, the more we experience his power, revel in his glory, and participate in his plan for our lives! Jesus didn’t use the crowd to change the world, but those who were CLOSEST to him. And he’s not just calling a few to be close to him, but all of us.Ultimately, only a few will say yes. How can we take that bold step of faith to follow his call?
Connected people are fruitful people. We’re called into a life of CONNECTION! Community is where you GATHER, Commitment is when you GO, Connection is HOW you GROWWhat type of commitment does Jesus truly call us to as followers? Why does it sometimes feel like we are not growing, even if we say we are believers? Our connection is meant to be twofold: First and foremost to Christ, but also to other believers!
Community has a seat in the row; The committed have a role in the MISSION! Jesus loves the crowd, but he changes us in the community. And once you’re part of the community, you’re called to step into your role in the mission. What is the mission? It’s always seeking after those who are lost and don’t have a relationship with Jesus. Going from the community to the committed is uncomfortable, but the more we step into obedience, the more discomfort we experience…the more your life will change — for the better. And those around you! Community GATHERS, but commitment GOES!
Jesus loves the crowd but he changes us in community! We are not meant for isolation, and we're not called to constant consumption. We are called to be part of the body, not just to attend church. We are called to live in community and contribute! How can we take that step from CROWD to COMMUNITY? How different would your life look if you took that step?
“No offense, but…” usually means offense is coming.We’ve all said the wrong thing or heard the right thing said the wrong way. Words can heal or harm, build up or break down. Jesus didn’t just speak truth, He lived it with grace, compassion, and intentionality.This message helps us rethink how we speak—to pause, check our hearts, and use our words to bring life, not just opinions. Whether it’s behind a keyboard, in a conversation, or in conflict, how we speak reveals what’s in our hearts.Let’s talk about how to hold onto truth and love. Jesus didn’t crush people with honesty. He changed them with it.
Jesus didn’t avoid the messy. He moved toward it. He wasn’t afraid of being guilty by association because He brought grace by association.He shared meals with sinners, welcomed the outcasts, and called the unlikely. He saw potential where others saw problems. He didn’t wait for people to clean up before coming to Him. He invited them first, and transformation followed.How do we treat the people the world tends to avoid? This message will challenge us to open doors, extend real invitations, and love people the way Jesus did without condition and without fear.
Jesus didn’t occasionally participate in the sabbath, it was part of his rhythm and routine. Jesus not only understood the importance of rest but that intimacy with and dependence on God is non-negotiable. Jesus “often” withdrew to the wilderness for prayer. It was his “custom” to partake in the Sabbath. Jesus didn’t lean into urgency, but intimacy. He was rooted in dependence on the father and so should we! How do we prioritize rest and true dependence on God? This message will teach all of us how to make rest and intimacy with God part of our routine every day and every week.
What if the problem isn’t Jesus—but the way we've misrepresented Him? In this powerful message, we explore the radical humility of Jesus: a leader who knelt to wash feet, carried betrayal without bitterness, and submitted fully to the will of the Father. True leadership doesn’t impress. It serves. Real transformation begins when we stop performing and start obeying. Humility means submitting to God and serving others. That’s where real freedom begins.
True love inspires true obedience. Jesus wasn’t obedient to the will of the father because it was his obligation or duty. He was obedient because he truly loved the Father. It’s not possible to live in willing disobedience and simultaneously love the father with everything we’ve got. How can we live more like Jesus and choose loving obedience? The Father’s kindness leads us to repentance and his invitation isn’t expired if you’ve got breath in your lungs and a beating heart!
If you allow the Holy Spirit to guide your life, you won’t do what the sinful nature cravesJesus set an example of a life led by the Spirit. He lived a life of complete obedience and we are called to do the same It’s impossible to live your God-given purpose on your own strength and power.The Spirit will always lead us to Jesus and others. This message will help you see how to live in that same strengthWe also celebrate life change through baptism and testimonies of death to life!

If we say we follow Christ, we should want to live as he livedJesus came to serve, not to BE served, and give his life as a ransom for many. Jesus set an example of serving that is meant to be followed, just just admired.If we say we’ve been changed from the inside out by Jesus, then we should have a desire to give our lives in serving HIM. How can we do that? How can we set an example of having a heart for serving?The primary goal of the local church isn’t just to get us here on a Sunday, but to take in what we learn and use it to give our lives for Jesus
In your suffering, in your struggle there is an opportunity for WORSHIP and WITNESSEven in your discouragement, God has not given up on you. Remember his promise that he will finish what he started. He is with you and he is for you. Your circumstances aren’t nearly as important as what you do with them. Our response to suffering and struggling shows what we really believe!Happiness may be circumstantial, but Joy cannot be taken from you!
There are many famous “stones” throughout Scripture. The stone tablets with the 10 Commandments written on them, the stone that slayed Goliath, and of course: The stone that was rolled away when Jesus resurrected from the grave! The stone wasn’t rolled away so Jesus could get out, but that we might look in and see that the tomb was empty and our king was alive!There is another story of a woman caught in the act of adultery who was supposed to be killed by way of stoning. And before he rose from the dead, Jesus saved this woman’s life in a picture of grace and mercy that is FOR YOU today!
The one thing that hold you back from God will be the one thing that hold you back from GodWhat’s that one thing you’re holding back from God? What is the area (or areas) you struggle to trust him? Many times we put our faith in our own plan or just about anything besides God. How can sheep in scripture teach us about trusting in God and his supernatural provision?This Easter season, we are looking at the story of Jesus through the lens of a donkey, a rooster, and today: A sheep. God paid a ransom to save every single one of us!
Failure does not define you. How you respond to that failure is what defines you. We all go through failure in different seasons of life. How will we respond? Are we allowing doubt over our past mistakes define our present or future? Guilt over past mistakes can be so crippling. But there is no way to “out-sin” the grace of God. The disciple Peter is a great example of this as the failure of his denial of Jesus could have easily ruined his calling. But we have a decision to make today!
God has a purpose for you just as you are. Our weakness makes room for God’s power. God didn’t just save you FROM something, he saved you FOR something!This Easter season, we are taking a look at the final days of Jesus’s life on earth through the lenses of some different characters. Jesus rode into the city of Jerusalem on a donkey’s colt, which had major significance.Not only was Jesus riding in on a donkey a symbol of his coming in peace, but it was also a great picture for us today. No matter how insignificant we may feel, we have a part to play in bringing Jesus to his people!
In your relationships, choose FAITH over FEAR.Sometimes it's easier said than done to live a righteous life, especially when we face persecution. But persecution is an opportunity to rejoice, to be glad, to know that we are setting the right example of a Godly life in Christ.Are we willing to count the cost of truly following Jesus? How do we stay on the narrow path with so much pressure to conform to the way of the world? How do we push through persecution?
Why does purity matter for Christians? What does Jesus say about it? “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”When it comes to purity, we don’t just need BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION, we need HEART TRANSFORMATION. The world tells us to follow our heart and live our own truth, but that’s dangerous because the heart is inherently wicked.How can we allow Jesus to truly transform us from the inside out? How can we protect our relationships not only physically but spiritually as well?
We all face conflict in our lives, but how do we handle it? How do we deal with it? Jesus said blessed are the peacemakers. We have a responsibility to make peace and seek forgiveness. To seek restoration. Followers of Jesus are the most forgiven people in the world, and therefore should be the most forgiving people in the world. Being a peacemaker is one of the best ways to share your faith and show the love of Jesus.Being a peacemaker glorifies God, and seeking it requires action. The three “Gs” of peacemaking show us how!
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness—God satisfies. How can we pursue righteousness in our homes? Whether we are parents or in a relationship or single, our lives can point others to Jesus. The reality is, the way we live our life is pointing somebody somewhere. To love our neighbors, we’ve got to KNOW our neighbors. And knowing begins with LISTENING!Truly listening may be the kindest, most loving gift you can give to someone. Far too often, Christians are known more for talking rather than listening, but Jesus set us a perfect example.Jesus listened intently. He listened to people no matter their background to prove that he cared!How can we apply this example in our own lives to truly love and value our neighbor?
To love your neighbor means to serve your neighbor. If Jesus washes feet, He calls you to do the same. Who did Jesus serve? Anyone around him. HOW did he serve? Pray for people. Mentor and disciple. Heal the sick. Feed the hungry. Cast out demons. Jesus calls us to do what he did!
Love begins here! We often hear that we're supposed to love our neighbors, but what does that really mean and how do we practically do that? One of the best ways to start loving the people around you is to actually pray for them! To love your neighbor means praying for your neighbor. Who will you pray for specifically today?
God answers prayer. It may not always be OUR timing, but HIS timing is always perfect. He knows exactly what we need. He is God our provider. Who are you doing life with? Are you growing closer to God because of those people?Who we surround ourselves with matters. We were created to be relational! There are three specific types of people we all need in our lives. How can we know the people in our lives are bringing us closer to God?We need people in our lives we can seek for wisdom, we need people who will hold us accountable, and we need people who love God wholeheartedly!
Who is your authority?JESUS is our authority. He is the living Word of God. He set an example to be followed. How different could our lives and the lives of those we love look if we would live and love like Jesus? If we would truly make Him our authority?Jesus has all authority to forgive everything you and I have ever done or ever will do. He has the final word! And He has eternal LIFE for you today!
Your growth isn’t just about YOU it’s about someone else.As we GROW, we MULTIPLY!Growth was never meant to “end” with just you. Your growth and walk with Christ is meant to impact others. Yes, Jesus wants to grow and change YOU, but he also wants that to multiply to others!
Faith ALWAYS equals action! What you value determines what you do. How much do we truly value the Word of God? How often are we putting our faith in action?Are you praying like it depends on God and moving like it depends on you?Faith that isn’t lived out is no faith at all. How can we begin to truly MOVE in our faith?
Your story has salvation power! There's no better way to wrap up the series on Galatians than by hearing stories of true life change.No matter what you're going through, you're not beyond the love and grace of Jesus! He's ready to meet you exactly where you're at today!
Will your life be defined by good intentions or Godly obedience?We're either FREE in Christ or a SLAVE to sin. We have choices every day to come into agreement with sinful desires or Holy Spirit desires. Galatians 5 shows us clearly what is from our sinful nature and what kind of fruit the Holy Spirit produces in our lives. We need to train ourselves every day to choose Jesus over anything and everything else!
Have you lost the joy of what it means to truly live in freedom?The unfortunate reality is, it's way too easy to go back to the life we would have done ANYTHING to escape at one point. We can either live for the applause of people or nail-scarred hands — you just can’t do both.We’re going to be faced with opportunities to compromise our faith in order to please people. How will we respond in those situations?What happens when we’re tempted to abuse the grace of God as a way to justify the way we’re living? You don't need the next NEW thing, you need the only TRUE thing!Jesus wants to rescue us from this evil world, but rescuing us from the evil in the world doesn't mean we're taken OUT of it -- we're just no longer enslaved to it.You can please people or you can please God -- you just can't do both. It's impossible to live for Christ and live for the approval of people at the same time.
How you LIVE reveals what you truly BELIEVE.We want to buy in to what God has for us, but are we willing to sell out for him? Are there still things we are clinging onto? Do we want salvation without the surrender? Your God-given purpose isn't a destination, it's a DECISION!
We are all going all in on something. Jesus said we're either with him or against him, and there is no in-between. We're all presented with choices in life of whether or not to do GOD's will our our own.You can focus on getting God to do what YOU want, or you can focus on what GOD wants.We rob God when we settle for second-best -- when we do things our own way instead of his.

If Jesus didn’t rise from the dead, our faith is useless. A dead savior can’t save anybody.But Jesus Christ IS resurrected, and that good news isn’t meant to just change where you live for eternity. It’s meant to change HOW you live TODAY!
An attitude of hatred and a heart of worship can't coexist.As followers of Christ, we're called to make the first move toward making amends, toward forgiveness. The heart of the Father is that forgiveness would be unlimited, but is unforgiveness the very thing preventing us from living the life God has called us to?

You may believe in Jesus, but believing and following are two very different things. You know you’re following Jesus when He interferes with your life.The cost of following Jesus is great, but the cost of NOT following Him is greater!
If you’ll do the NATURAL, God will do the SUPERWe all want to see supernatural things happen in our lives. When God speaks to us, when He gives us marching orders, it’s on US to act, to move, to do the thing He’s called us to.The shepherds in the Christmas story were some of the unlikeliest to be included. They were outcasts. They were nobodies in society. And yet God chose to share the greatest news in the world with them.Why?His gospel truth is truly for EVERYONE.What is God asking you to do today?
If GOD said it, we can TRUST it. You don’t have to completely GET it in order to DO it. What God asks you to do won’t always make sense, but if He saw you to it, he will see you through it. The miracle of the birth of Jesus started with a promise from God, a promise that didn’t make sense. Maybe you’re in a place today where you’re having trouble trusting God. This message is for you!
Most people have at least one of three idols in the way of their relationship with Jesus: Money, people, or family.Jesus wants JOY for your life, not bondage. Our approach to money and possessions (or people in our lives) is central to our spiritual lives.How we handle money is a major indicator of our relationship with Jesus. It’s a topic Jesus spoke about more than any other. Why? Because He wants our whole heart!
The Grace of God will open your HEART and then your HANDWhat is tithing? Why is it important? Why does the church talk about money so often? Everything the world invests in is temporal; everything God invests in is eternal. God desperately wants us to trust the one who created us, walks with us, loves us, has a hope and future for us.
When you invest in what YOU want instead of what GOD wants, you lose what you worked so hard to getKnow this — more than ANYTHING, God wants your HEART.When you put God FIRST, His best blessings FLOW.What would happen if the church invested in what GOD wants instead of what WE (individually) want? We want to be a church that is in pursuit of the heart of God, and living out true obedience.
Heaven will be AMAZING for everyone — it just won’t be the SAME for everyoneWhen you invest in what matters to God, you store up treasures in heaven.At the end of our lives, the only thing we’re going to regret is what we didn’t give back. How are you investing what God has entrusted you with?We’re rewarded in heaven for good works, but we have to live with an eternal mindset! Serving, showing compassion, loving your enemies, meeting needs, praying for those who persecute you…Live with eternity in mind TODAY!
The Lord determines our steps, but that doesn’t mean he forces us to walk in them.We have to be obedient to actually walk in those steps he lays out for us, but we all have the chance to veer off of GOD’S plans and try and walk in our own.Before God can do something THROUGH you, He needs to do something IN you.Trusting in His plan may take time, but repentance can start immediately!
We've all experienced loneliness. We know the negative impact it can have. But there is good news, God is bigger than your loneliness. God's answer to loneliness is the church. We were never meant to do life alone and God wants us to be in community.It's through the church that we find connection and where loneliness can be defeated!
THE FEAR OF GOD CANCELS THE FEARS OF THE WORLD.The level that you FEAR God will determine the level you UNDERSTAND GodIf you find yourself living in fear a lot, if you’re riddled with what-ifs:1. You don’t understand your value in God2. You don’t believe itToday is the day to know how valuable you are. If God takes care of the sparrows, how much more does he love you?
God’s GRACE is greater than your PASTGod doesn’t shut the door on your future because of something that happened in your past.There is NOTHING that disqualifies you from the grace of God.
The first step to victory over your anxiety?Talk to God about EVERYTHING that concerns you.The more you try to handle things on your own, the more it’ll mess you up. Not just spiritually, but emotionally. God PROVIDES, and God is our PEACE!Prayer puts our focus back on God’s power.
PRAYER is the difference between the best you can do and the best God can do.What we do FIRST matters MOST.Jesus showed a pattern in his prayer life when he walked the earth: It always came FIRST.Before miracles. Before the day even began. Before choosing his disciples. When we honor God by praying first, by seeking FIRST the Kingdom of God, we put our trust in the provider!PRAY. FIRST! (and still pray always!)
Are you investing in the next generation? One of the biggest areas in our world today where we can make an eternal impact is with people who are younger than we are.We need to bring our children to Jesus, and we need to bring Jesus to our children! You don't have to be a parent to make an impact on the next generation, either. You can make an impact through mentorship or by serving in Kids/Youth ministry! If you want your kids to fall in love with Jesus, you've got to show them what it looks like to be in love with him.
Jesus didn't say we're the light of the CHURCH, he said we're the light of the WORLD.The Church doesn't just exist for congregation members. It exists for the good of OTHERS.The goal of the Church was never just to come, sit in the seats, hear a message, and leave. It was to be SALT and LIGHT to a world that so desperately needs it!
We were created with relationships in mind. But not just ANY relationships. We need to be in relationships with people who love JESUS more than they love ANYTHING or ANYONE else!
And we need to be that person for others.
Life change will never happen without INTENTIONAL relationships.
Are you living with intentionality? Do you have a relationship with Christ? Who are you pouring into? Who pours into you?
Vulnerability is NOT a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of strength
But until you acknowledge your weakness, you won’t know God’s strength.
How different would your life look if you started to acknowledge a need to be vulnerable?
You should be authentic with all people, but vulnerable with SOME. Vulnerability happens in a place of true intimacy and with people who love the Lord.
We need to know that we can surrender, and that God is FOR us. We need people who love HIM in our corner, no matter what we’re going through.
Sometimes the greatest BLESSINGS come from our greatest BURDENS.
We may not want them, but God can use them.
The change that you want in your life so desperately — that you don’t have — will only come out of your comfort zone.
Pain will move us to move, but we’d often rather do what’s EASY than what’s RIGHT. How can we choose CALLING over COMFORT?
Trusting in God is not comfortable. Trusting in God means that God HAS to show up. Where does he have to show up in your life?
One of the biggest obstacles preventing us from reaching our full potential is avoiding ACCOUNTABILITY.
God’s Word is our foundation, and accountability from Christ-centered people is a necessity for growth. And not only do we need to receive accountability, but we need to be able to hold others accountable as well.
Are you changing and growing CLOSER to Jesus because of the people in your life? Are you surrounded by people who LIKE you and tell you what you WANT to hear, or are you surrounded by people who LOVE you and tell you what you NEED to hear?
Accountability isn’t a maybe, it’s a MUST!
If you’re not in the Word of God, there is ZERO percent chance you’ll live your purpose.
There is only ONE way to defeat the lies of Satan: God’s Word.
Reading God’s Word is true. It’s FOR YOU. Scripture corrects, teaches, prepares, equips, and it contains the greatest news in the world.
The question for us is — are we letting it truly change us? Are we willing to accept the correction? Or are we morphing God’s truth into our own version of “truth”?
God wants to reveal himself to you through his Word.
Jesus said "Come, follow me" AND "Go and make disciples".
He did many miracles during His ministry, but it didn't stop there! Miracles continued to happen even after Jesus was physically gone.
God accomplishes His purposes through His people! When we allow God to use us for His good, miracles break out and lives are transformed.
Will you let God work through you to change someone's life?

One of Jesus’ final miracles before he took the cross was healing a blind man. But it wasn’t just sight the blind man was asking Jesus for. He was desperate for MERCY.
Our need is bigger than the miracle we may be asking for!
Believing means more than “I agree”; It means “I will follow”
A relationship with Jesus doesn’t end with believing. That’s only the beginning. Just because you can’t see what’s next doesn’t mean there’s not something next.
Paul and Silas didn’t know exactly what was next when they were thrown in prison, but they knew that there was something.
At that moment, their belief meant doing the next right thing. Being obedient and worshiping when it didn’t make sense. And what happens next is nothing short of miraculous.
There are only two instances in Scripture when Jesus uses his supernatural power to destroy something in nature. One of them happened to be a fig tree.
Why did Jesus do this? Why is this miracle significant to our lives today?
The story of Jesus cursing the fig tree teaches us about FAILURE and FAITH. When you follow Jesus, you're meant to bear fruit. When anything quits producing fruit, it always starts at the roots.
Every MIRACLE starts with a problem.
And in every miracle we see in Jesus’ ministry, there is one main ingredient: Compassion.

Just because you do things for God doesn’t mean you know God. The number one way to know God and God’s will is by reading God’s Word. 10 minutes a day in God’s Word will change the rest of your days. Are you a cultural Christian? Has your faith in Christ changed you? If your faith hasn’t changed you, it hasn’t saved you. You can admire Jesus, but never actually surrender to Him. Cultural belief and biblical belief are very different. Biblical belief isn’t just something we confess with our mouths; it’s something we confess with our lives.
What's our purpose as the church? What has Jesus done for us? Why is communion so important.We have to get back to unity. We have to remember that it's because of Jesus' love for us that we have new life! But we can't keep that love to ourselves. We need to share it with others!Communion is not just an exercise in remembering our salvation, it’s a deliberate act of devotion and love, to remind us that love is sacrifice, and not just on the part of Jesus. We have a role. You have a role. A crucial one.
When is the last time you shared your faith? When is the last time you invited someone to church? We’ll make every excuse to “not go there” out of fear of what others will think, but that’s exactly what we’re supposed to do. Not because the church says so, but because Jesus does! We can’t be more worried about the opinion of people than the opinion of God. We can’t be more worried about the opinion of people than the opinion of God. If we really believe what we believe as Christians, then we know that there is nothing more important to share than the good news of Jesus Christ. We need to go, listen, and share. When we do our part, God does His, and the world will never be the same.
Leave your excuses in the dark…where they belong. Your direction determines your destination, and excuses leave you in the dark. If you’re living a life full of excuses, you’re probably wandering around in the dark. Thank God for Jesus — the light that extinguishes the darkness! The darkness has not and will not ever overcome the light and life of Jesus. As we begin a brand-new series called “No More Excuses”, Pastor Monte takes a look at the story of Moses. Most people know Moses for the parting of the Red Sea, leading the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. What many people don’t realize is that Moses let excuses get in the way of what God had for him.
The good news is, God is not dependent on our own ability, but we have to stop focusing on what WE can’t do and start focusing on what God has spoken, because what he has spoken will be done!
When you show God that you can trust him, He will show you things that you can’t believe. Are you trusting the promises of God?
One of the main reasons we fail to trust God is fear. Fear that robs us of purpose. Fear that causes us to miss out on some of the miraculous things God has for us.
But when we trust God…When we are faithful with what he has entrusted us with. When we are filled with faith and truly believe that all things are possible with God, he will do what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind can comprehend.
He wants to bless you today!
Something has to be GIVEN before it can be BLESSED.
Something has to be BLESSED before it can MULTIPLY.
We will only experience God's blessing when we trust him and live open-handed! In Luke 9, we see the incredible power of God's blessing when Jesus and his disciples feed 5,000 men and their families. Even with just five loaves and two fish, they are able to gather 12 baskets of leftovers.
How is that possible? First of all, anything is possible with God -- but we've got to trust him and give him all we've got in order to see blessing and multiplication in every area of our lives!
What miracles could you see in and through your life with this kind of giving? Our best can never measure up to God's blessed!
God’s love TRULY IN YOU always leads to giving FROM YOU!
Your actions will always be evidence of your salvation. If you claim Jesus is your Lord and Savior, has he truly changed you from the inside out? You can’t change from the outside in.
Jesus changes everyone he meets. There is an incredible example of this in Luke 19, a story about a tax collector named Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus was called out by name by Jesus himself and his life was never the same.
That same life-giving power is available to you today!
Jesus wants to bless us, but what if I told you he wants you to be MORE than blessed?
He said it is MORE blessed to give than to receive. When we trust God and give, he blesses us and others.
It’s time to stop living what we believe is our “best” life and start living the blessed life God has for us! How do we do that? First and foremost, we have to trust God. Trusting God requires leaving our comfort zone where only faith can take you.
Trust is tangible. Faith is seen. God has a blessing for you so great you don’t even have room enough to contain it…if you will take a next step!
Are you committed to the church or are you simply dating it?
The first church of Acts devoted themselves to God, to prayer, and to each other. They committed to God and then God responded! Church isn't a building, it's a movement and the purest form of church is small groups.
In today's message, Pastor Monte talks about why it's so important for us to commit to the church and how being a part of a small group will change your life!
Who is keeping you in check? Who is showing you your blind spots? Do you have anybody pushing you to next steps in your walk with Christ?
Nobody is so driven that they can do life alone!
We need accountability from others. Not just from anyone, but from someone who loves God and is full of the Holy Spirit. Accountability partners don’t tell you what you WANT to hear, they tell you what you NEED to hear.
If you don’t have accountability in your life, you’re probably not doing anything to advance the kingdom of God here on earth.
So what’s your next step? For some, it’s surrendering your life to Jesus Christ. For others, it’s joining a Life Group to build relationships. Or maybe, you need to reach out to someone for accountability.
Sins and secrets distance us from God. The further we are from God, the worse our lives get.
There is power in confession. The weight of guilt can destroy your life but one relationship can change everything. God not only wants to forgive you, he wants to HEAL you.
Sin left unchecked can be minimalized, rationalized, and trivialized. But when we confess, reach out to others, healing begins!
You will NEVER achieve your God-given purpose by yourself.
It’s not good for man to be alone!
Do you have friends who love God more than they love you? Do you have friends that encourage you AND build your faith?
You need people that will PRAY for you. You need people that will PUSH you. You need people that will ENCOURAGE you!
Connection is so crucial. How can you truly get connected within the church and people who love Jesus? Today is the day to join a Life Group!
Prayer isn’t about getting what you want, it’s about trusting that God knows best
Jesus is the resurrection and the life.
So often, we try in our own strength to live a good life. Many of us even will strive to live a life worthy of the resurrection life only Jesus can offer.
There is no resurrection without Jesus! In fact, resurrection isn't just an event, Resurrection is a person -- Jesus.
You don't have to have perfect faith, you just have to have faith in a perfect God!

Your testimony can change lives!

TO LIVE A FULFILLED LIFE, YOU NEED TO TAKE IN GOD’S WORD DAILY
Jesus is the Bread of Life.
If we don’t have the bread of life, what do we have?
Believing in Jesus and eating the Bread of Life is so much more than just head knowledge. True belief is taking in, yielding, surrendering.
Are we seeking miracles or the Miracle Worker?
Jesus teaches in Matthew 6 what he means when he says he is the Bread of Life.
Let him be your daily bread today!
Jesus is the vine, and WE are the branches.
Fruit bearing trees don’t command fruit to grow — it just happens because they are connected to the tree or the vine.
If we are truly connected to The Vine, we will bear fruit as followers of Christ.
Jesus promises three things if we remain in him (or obey and bear fruit)
Our prayers will be answered.
We will have overflowing joy.
We will have deepening love for others.
Are you truly connected to the vine? Are you growing? What do you need to prune away from your life so that God can grow his blessings in you and through you and all around you?
The Good Shepherd protects, guides, and provides.
When we don’t have the Good Shepherd, we will be CONFUSED, HELPLESS, and HOPELESS.
Jesus is our Good Shepherd.
The Good Shepherd sacrifices his life for his sheep. That is exactly what Jesus did for you!
Sheep know the voice of their shepherd. But not only do they KNOW him, the true sheep FOLLOW.

Jesus claimed to be a lot of things when he walked the earth. For those that didn’t believe Jesus’ message, he was a liar. For others, he was just a lunatic claiming to be the Son of God.
For others, he became Lord.
Jesus, who said he is the light of the world, not only came to heal blind eyes but to open the eyes of our hearts.
When Christ lives in you, darkness cannot overcome you, because darkness cannot overcome the light.
What promises, names, and characteristics of Jesus do you need to believe over your life today?
The best is yet to come if we invest in what matters most.
What we do WITH Christ is far more important than what we do FOR Christ.
What are you living for? What are you investing your time and energy into?

The story of Mary and Martha is a great reminder that we can fill our time with so many things to do, but there’s ONE thing that matters most.
The best is yet to come if we go all in for God.
If you haven't died to self, you're walking around half-dead!
If you hold out on God, you'll miss out on everything He wants to do in you, for you, and through you.
Jesus died so that you could have life, and life ABUNDANT. But abundant life in Christ requires RISK. It requires SACRIFICE.
Growth and comfort can't co-exist. Today is the day to sell out for God. Say yes. Believe that the best is yet to come IF you will go ALL IN.

Today is the day to connect to a local church if you aren’t already. We love that you are able to hear this message wherever you’re at and no matter what season of life you’re in, but we also believe that Jesus died for the church.
The Church is God’s Plan A, and there is NO Plan B!
You are part of Plan A.
You were created to be part of the body. The church needs you, and you need IT!
Don't give up what you value most for what you want now.
The key to victory is trusting God and being obedient to what he says.
What areas of your life do you need to trust God and see his plan through? Where are you letting unbelieve cause you to settle for less than God’s best?
When you are obedient, you can trust God with the results. When you trust what God says, you will claim all that he has for you!

There is so much power in habitual prayer. Why? Because habitual prayer is intentional. With more prayer, we see more of God's hand at work in our lives.

Start good prayer and fasting habits today. They are essential if we want to truly see God move in and through and all around our lives!

HAVING FAITH FIRST ISN’T ABOUT OBLIGATION, IT’S ABOUT TRANSFORMATION
It was by FAITH...
All of those mentioned in the Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11 used to be somebody else before they decided to jump in faith first, trust God, and live a life of obedience.
Obedience was never meant to be about obligation, though. God doesn't need your money, time, possessions, or even your worship. He owns everything. He always has been and always will be. If we don't worship, the rocks will cry out.
God needs nothing, yet he desperately wants your heart today.

Real faith isn’t perfect, it's faith in a perfect God.. It’s okay to DOUBT! Just don’t live there.
God gave Abram and Sarai a crazy promise, one that took decades to come to pass, and that promise has been unfolding ever since.

Jesus had to walk through Samaria to get to Galilee. He had to walk through Samaria not because there was no other route to walk, but because he knew he would have an encounter with a woman, and be able to provide her with living water.

God appeared to Solomon in a dream, and told him to ask for anything. Solomon asked God for wisdom, and he was blessed beyond anything he could have ever imagined.
