Today's episode is a special one. Last week I sat down to record a completely different episode. But for some reason felt let to share a little bit of a life update. It was not until I was editing yesterday, that I realized exactly why I felt led to talk about my recent life instead of my original topic. I had been really discouraged by the cares of life yesterday and was honestly beginning to lose faith and struggling to see a way in what I saw was a never ending tunnel. So I just think it is the coolest thing ever that God was able to lead me to record exactly what I would need to hear when I was editing this episode. I hope it encourages you as much as it encouraged me. God can work out a way even when we don't see one!

Do you ever feel like your prayers just feel stiff? Like you are doing it wrong? Well I have good news, there is no one way to pray. When we come to the Lord he allows us to talk to him as we talk to a friend. We can cry on his shoulder when things go wrong. Celebrate with him when something good happens. And seek his advice when we just don't know what to do! We can really be comfortable in the way we approach God. If you are wanting to grow your prayer life join me in this episode as I talk about ways we can grow comfortable with prayer and truly tap into the power source we have through it.

We all have things we long for. No matter what stage of life we are in, single, married or dating. But we have to long for the lord first. We have to be able to turn to him, and delight ourselves in him. And he is so good, when we delight ourselves in him he will give us the desires of our heart. But it's not always on our time line. The truth though is that the only thing we really need is the lord. When we let him supply our needs we will find we truly want for nothing.

What does it mean to Love like Jesus? How do I love others the way Jesus did? Lately I cannot get the love of Christ off my mind, It is so needed in our world today. In this episode we will look to the bible and some of what it has to say about having the same love for others that Christ has for us and talk about how we can then use that to apply to our everyday lives. And yes you have to share your umbrella.

We have all been through heart break, felt alone like it would never get better. What if I told you God was there even through the pain? Even when it hurt the most? Even when it seemed there was no hope? He is and he gives us hope during our darkest days. Join me as I talk with my Mom about her relationship journey. It was not all sunshine and rouses.
