What started out as a passion for music and entertaining, gloriously landed her a dream job as a VJ with MTV. Maz was the original host of its flagship show Total Request Live (TRL). About Donna De Zwart

Based in Melbourne, Donna is a highly motivated leader with over twenty years’ experience in consulting and the education sector. Donna believes in a collaborative leadership approach, and encourages a sense of fun and creativity.

Donna is the Chief Executive Officer of Fitted for Work, a not-for-profit dedicated to helping women experiencing disadvantage to regain their confidence and secure and maintain employment.

Donna believes every woman has the right to economic security. She understands from a personal perspective how important it is not only for a woman to experience the dignity that work brings, but also how employment impacts family, the wider community and the growth of the Australian economy and society as a whole.

Donna has held a range of executive roles in the commercial, VET and Higher Education sectors, which have centred around the development of innovative strategies that empower diverse groups.

Donna’s previous positions have included General Manager with Vocation and BAWM, Associate Vice President with Diversity@Work, Department Head, National Learning and Development Manager and Senior Educator in Learning and Teaching.

After leaving local television, she moved up to CNN. There she covered the media and entertainment industry for a decade. Her work appeared on CNN, CNN International, HLN and CNN digital. K.J. was a major force in the development and overall entertainment coverage including the network’s Oscar Awards, Grammy Awards and Golden Globes coverage. She wrote & produced for AC 360, The Situation Room, New Day, CNN Tonight with Don Lemon, Erin Burnett OutFront, CNN Newsroom and Morning Express with Robin Meade. One of her highlights at CNN was working on the the award-winning primetime special, CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute and winning a Peabody Award.

Currently she’s a senior contributor to BBC World Service Radio, BBC World News TV, BBC 5 Radio Live, Germany’s DW English TV Network, and Australia’s ABC Network’s morning show, Breakfast where she writes, produces, and offers her expertise on the latest in the media & entertainment industry.

About Ryan Mischkulnig and The Reimaginarium
A tinkerer and reimaginer from his earliest years, Ryan Mischkulnig is a designer and engineer. "I remember all the way back in grade 5 or 6 trying to motorise some of my favourite toy cars, and dragging bikes home from the hard rubbish to repair and sell. Fast forward 20 years and I'm now adding bluetooth to old radios and still tinkering with old bikes, so I guess not much has changed!"

After working in low automotive modification and as a consulting engineer in conventional product design and development, Ryan set his sights on applying his skills to used materials rather than new. He saw that old materials and objects were not getting the respect that they deserved, and saw the opportunity to apply his design, engineering and business experience to make reclaimed goods more functional and desirable. At the beginning of 2018 he and his wife made the move to the Geelong region in Victoria, Australia, in order to invest their efforts solidly in reuse, while spending as much time as possible with their young daughter. From humble beginnings in a shared Renew Geelong space in 2018, their social enterprise, The Reimaginarium, now stocks the work of over a dozen different re-makers from across Australia in a dedicated retail space. Their young daughter Elli enjoys spending several days a week at their side playing and meeting new people in the shop, something that would never have been possible in another business. Together they aim to prove to the public that reused can be as good, as functional, as convenient and as beautiful as new, and their Moorabool Street store is just the beginning.

In 2014 she founded TEAM Women Australia - a nonprofit specialising in storytelling to bring women together from different backgrounds, cultures and experiences to advance as leaders while taking care of their financial health and wellbeing.
In 2018 she featured as one of 13 Indigenous Female Leaders in the National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) “Because of Her We Can '' campaign for her role as an Indigenous Female Leader in business.
