There are probably a couple people (2 or 3 of you at least) wondering what happened. I'll tell you: Work.
Su has a new job. I have the same job. I just have even less time than before because this job demands all my attention. Simply put, we've been busy with other things besides comics and research. I didn't say this was an amazing excuse, it's just the way things have been.
Fortunately, I think we're approaching a time when I'm not spending like 60 hours a week doing work stuff (I exaggerate, but only slightly). What does this mean? I think it means we're back!
Well, back with more this month. We're still keeping the biweekly schedule we went with some time back. Good news is that more than this paltry offering is in the works! Keep your eyes on the feed! It'll have newer stuff soon! Promise!

There was some material that was originally supposed to appear in the pages of Ms. Marvel dealing with the intro of Rogue and Destiny that didn't see print until the Marvel Superheroes seasonal specials of the late 80s - early 90s. I didn't really include that here, but you could probably track 'em down if you wanted. I also skipped some late New Mutants appearances because frankly I didn't feel like it was super necessary. Let's just say it involved even more Asgardian shenanigans and I just didn't wanna.

One of the reasons that I wanted to do X-Month was because I really wanted Su to understand how badly the X-movies at Fox completely missed the mark with Storm. She was basically the main character of the book for like 8 friggin years! Episode V is live, baby! We're still working on how we put together the show. I think it'll depend on the topic. Shows that are run-based will likely focus more on creator bios or maybe just behind-the-scenes stuff on the run. Shows that focus on a broader character treatment will probably be lighter on that stuff with maybe a few references tossed in for a bit of spice. We're also working on diversifying our content. It covers the time period of around 1970 to about 2000 or so. It features interviews, pictures, old artwork, and lots of research in to the various topics covered. I've found as I've continued doing recording that this is an invaluable resource for me. Also, check out the Roy Thomas edited Alter Ego or potentially any of their other pop-culture focused books. Good stuff!
Seriously though, a lot of my information comes from Back Issue #6 specifically. For other sources, I obviously checked up on Wikipedia for basic things like birthdays and dates of things. Other stuff to look at:
