The Patt chat box will bring all these throwbacks; Patt’s and some of his guests on the show. Along side the throwbacks will be discussions about childhood mental health, women and men’s mental health, ideas perceived by Patt and his guests. Whether you’re a young or older adult, this could be worth a listen. Stories and opinions speak to us in some way. The Patt chatbox will bring this and more to your ears every episode so stay tuned.

Feminism has evolved since it first began. There’s been multiple waves and considerably various types of feminism. In this episode, join your host Patt_with_2ts and his returning guest speaker, Jennifer Gideon as they discus their opinions on feminism; what they they think of it, how it has translated in their very closest environment and the impact it has for the society they live in. Some books(sources) discuss are ideologies on feminism and misogyny to some extents. “We should all be feminists” a book by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, shades some light on her view points and ideas on feminism. Disclaimer: the speakers in this episode are just discussing their opinions on feminism, they are just thought on the subject. They are no experts on the subject, so don’t judge or pin them on that. Let’s hope you enjoy the episode. Feel free to leave a comment on the Facebook page @thepattchatbox and on Instagram @thepattchatbox.

In this world today we hope for peace and unity. It is to no surprise we still hope. Yet we still fight owing to our differences; be it tribal, cultural, race, nationality, gender or sexuality, religious, or political.

When most civil wars happen, many bleed; more than physically. They lost homes, friends, and a life they once had. Refugees are a result of these wars, these differences, and the lack of unity in most situations. So they flee for peace and safety.

In this episode, I’ll be having a guest speaker Samuel Thiak Gai, a victim of the civil warships in South Sudan; especially the most recent one(2011-2013). So stay tuned and listen to his story. He will touch base on what he hopes to be better for the refugee situation and Kakuma(a refugee camp in Kenya). He also shares what it is like living as a refugee in the camp.
