Hello and welcome to the Cultural Peeps Podcast. My name is Iain Wheeldon and I’m a lecturer in the School of Arts and Cultures at Newcastle University.
This Podcast series is part of an ongoing project which explores different Career Pathways across the Museum, Gallery, Heritage and wider Cultural Sectors.
I really want this series to do three things;
The first aim is to help early career professionals understand the huge range of ever-changing job profiles that now exist across these complex and interconnected sectors.
The second is aim is to help those early career professionals to interpret job titles in the context of different venues and organisations – often, jobs with the same title can be radically different depending on the organisation.
The third aim is to help listeners understand that the people that make up any field of work are all human and are ultimately making human decisions, and that in turn plays a significant part in their unfolding career pathways and decision making processes.
Episode 56 of the Cultural Peeps Podcast is with Andy Jones, the Welcome and Service Assistant Manager at The Beatles’ Childhood Homes in Liverpool – both of which are run by the National Trust. Andy’s job is to tell the early story of John Lennon and Paul McCartney through 2 family houses at 251 Menlove Avenue (also known as ‘Mendips’) and 20 Forthlin Road.I met Andy during the spring of 2026, whilst fulfilling a 30-year promise to myself to visit the childhood homes of the Beatles (along with many other significant sites that feature in their songs, and venues they played at and frequented as a young performer in their formative years).Andy has been with the trust for about 4 and a half years, initially starting out a Custodian of the Beatles Childhood Homes before then stepping up to lead the team.Before joining the trust Andy worked as an Illustrator and Lecturer, heading the programme in Graphic Design at Hugh Baird University Centre.As usual, I’ve included links to the different organisations and projects we discuss in the links section below, and I’ve posted images of both the houses as well as many of the things we discuss (such as Roland Connor’s Christmas tin) over on the Cultural Peeps WordPress site – so if you’d like to see those – head on over there whilst you are listening. This episode was recorded in May 2026 and is an edited version of a longer conversation.LINKS:The Beatles Childhood Homes: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/liverpool-lancashire/the-beatles-childhood-homesJohn Lennon: https://www.johnlennon.com/Paul McCartney: https://www.paulmccartney.com/Speke Hall: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/liverpool-lancashire/speke-hallSouth Parkway Station: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liverpool_South_Parkway_railway_stationThe Jones Boys: https://jonesboys.co.uk/aboutAndy Jones Draws: https://www.facebook.com/Andyjonesdraws/
Episode 55 of the Cultural Peeps Podcast is with David Thomas, the Senior Interpretation Manager for English Heritage.English Heritage is a major UK charity that manages over 400 of England's historic sites, monuments, and properties. Their portfolio spans over 5,000 years of history, ranging from prehistoric landmarks like Stonehenge to Roman forts, medieval castles, and Cold War bunkers.In our chat we talk about how David and his team approach the challenges of developing meaningful interpretation projects that provide access points for a range of different visitors.David identified that he wanted to work in the Heritage sector at a relatively early age which led to his first degree in History at York University, where he describes facing the dilemma between becoming a teacher of working in Museums.We also talk about David’s roles at the Science Museum and at the Merchant Adventurers Hall in York and how those early roles helped him to work out what he wanted to focus on as his career developed. This conversation was recorded on zoom in May 2026 and is an edited version of a longer conversation.LINKS:English Heritage: https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/Dover Castle: https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/dover-castle/Stonehenge: https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/stonehenge/Hadrian’s Wall: https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/hadrians-wall/Science Museum: https://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/homeNational Railway Museum: https://www.railwaymuseum.org.uk/Museum of English Rural Life: https://merl.reading.ac.uk/Institute of Archaeology: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/social-historical-sciences/archaeologyUniversity of York: https://www.york.ac.uk/archaeology/Spirit of Place (Article): https://www.museumsassociation.org/museums-journal/opinion/2016/04/01052016-national-trusts-guiding-spirit/Merchant Adventurers’ Hall: https://merchantshallyork.org/University of York (History): https://www.york.ac.uk/history/

This episode is with Director, Writer and Producer, Marc Jobst. Marc is probably best known for his work on the Netflix Shows Daredevil, The Witcher and One Piece but has enjoyed a wide ranging and fascinating career in theatre, radio, television and film. Marc is an alumnus of Newcastle University, where he studied Agriculture. During his time as an undergraduate he was drawn towards acting and storytelling through his involvement with NUTs (The Newcastle University Theatre Society), The Gulbenkian Theatre – now Northern Stage, and the Shakespeare residency at the Theatre Royal. We chat about his first theatre company – Three Monkeys, which he formed after university, and toured the UK with, before starring in a critically acclaimed one-man production of the Loneliness of the Long-Distance Runner, directed by John Yorke. After producing both television and radio shows for the BBC and Tyne Tees television, Marc went moved into freelance television and Film directing. In our conversation we chat about what is like to direct huge shows for major studios like Netflix and how he approaches the creative process of storytelling. Most recently, Marc developed and directed the live action adaptation of the tremendously successful Japanese anime series, One Piece which premiered on Netflix in 2023. As a Freelancer, Philippa has worked on a wide range of projects including a multi-disciplinary initiative called Flourish. As part of that project the Phillipa worked on a new co-produced toolkit that aims to make commissioning fairer, strengthen long-term partnerships, and help create the biggest positive impact for communities. The toolkit reimagines commissioning in the creative and cultural sector, offering insights, data, and recommendations to support practitioners and shape stronger cultural policy.LINKS:Imagining Better: https://www.imaginingbetter.co.uk/Heritage Lottery Fund/ Heritage Fund: https://www.heritagefund.org.uk/Flourish: www.flourishgateshead.com/work-1/commissioning-for-creative-ecosystemsRemembering the Past: www.rememberingthepast.co.uk/projects/bishopwearmouth-townscape-heritage-scheme/Big Lottery Fund (The National Lottery Community Fund): https://www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk/Social Investment Business: https://www.sibgroup.org.uk/Abbotsford – The House of Walter Scott: https://www.scottsabbotsford.com/Listed Places of Worship: https://listed-places-of-worship-grant.dcms.gov.uk/Tricolour Associates: https://tricolorassociates.co.uk/Groundwork North East and Cumbria: https://www.groundwork.org.uk/north-east-and-cumbria/The Land of Oak and Iron: https://landofoakandiron.org.uk/Hylton Castle: https://hyltoncastle.org.uk/Salako - Hull’s Too good For England: https://open.spotify.com/track/2bEl0gV11aSK3PmkN3nEI3podcastChopwell Regeneration Group: https://www.chopwell.org/

Pickford’s house. In our chat, Tony describes how he discovered Museum work through volunteering before then going on to undertake a master’s programme in Museology at the University of East Anglia. Tony then went on to work as Curator of Human History Isle of Wight Council Museum Service before joining Ipswich Museum as the Public Services Manager. He then took a pay cut to move to the Museum of East Anglian Life (now the Food Museum) – so that he could start to influence the changes he wanted to see in the sector. In our chat we also talk about Tony’s experience on the Clore Leadership Programme, through which he spent with The Friends of the Earth and the New Economics Foundation learning about their approaches and initiatives. During this period, he also read ‘Bowling Alone’ by Robert Putnam and saw an influential TED talk by Martin Seligman. Tony realised that he could combine all these elements together to potentially create high levels of environment care and wellbeing within the Museum. After speaking at a conference about wellbeing and enterprise he made a connection with the Paul Hamlyn foundation who offered to fund the Happy Museum Project – which went on to fund organisations to develop networks and think about how their museums could act as a place to support wellbeing. We also chat about Tony’s work as a trustee at Kids in Museums and Foundation Derbyshire – and how these additional roles can be a source of nourishment as well as a way of keeping yourself fresh and inspired.Finally, we talk about the future of Museums – and specifically what this looks like from a regional perspective.This conversation was recorded in April 2026 and is an edited version of a longer conversation. As usual, I’ve included links to the different organisations and projects we discuss in the show notes, and you can also learn more about both this episode and the wider project on the Cultural Peeps WordPress site. This episode features a chat with Alex Evans, the founder and executive Director of ‘Larger Us’, which is a community of change-makers who share the aim of using psychology for good – to bridge divides, build broader coalitions and bring people together.Alex is the author of "The Myth Gap: What Happens When Evidence and Arguments Aren't Enough?", which is a book about the how power of deep stories can help us unlock transformational change. This is a text I’ve used with my own students when exploring the power storytelling. Alex has also previously worked as a Campaign Director at Avaaz, the 50-million-member global citizens' movement. He’s also worked in the UN Secretary-General's office on climate and sustainability, and as Special Adviser to two Secretaries of State at the Department for International Development.In our chat we explore the highs and lows of Alex’s fascinating journey and what that led him to set up Larger Us back in 2018.This chat was recorded over zoom in October 2024, a few weeks before the US general election – so, you’ll hear that mentioned a couple of times.I want to thank Darren Kelsey for connecting me with Alex and I also wanted to give a shout out to the Larger Us Podcast – which has some fantastic guests and explores how we can become a larger us, rather than an us and them society – that’s definitely worth checking out. My guest today is Corinne Fowler, Professor of Colonialism and Heritage at Leicester University.Between 2018 and 2022, Corinne directed a child-led history and writing project called 'Colonial Countryside: National Trust Houses Reinterpreted' and has also worked on the rural racism project. In 2020, she co-authored a National Trust report that explored the colonial connections between 93 Properties that are now in the Care of the Trust and global slave trades, goods and products of enslaved labour and the East India Company and the British Raj.After its release, the report attracted huge media interest and led to hundreds of articles which debated not only its content, but also the work and lives of the authors and the wider role of the National Trust. We talk about what it’s like to be the recipient of intense media scrutiny, and the strategies that Corinne employed during this high-profile public debate. We also chat about Corinne’s latest book, Our Island Stories, which is written around 10 country walks that she undertook with different companions, and which explores the relationships between local and global histories. This episode is a chat with Simon Thompson, Head Gardener at the National Trust Property, Wallington. Simon has worked for the National Trust for over 25 years, and we thought we would approach this episode in the spirit of the work of a gardener – through a walk around the estate. Simon welcomed me to Wallington back in September 2024 on a glorious sunny morning before the site was open to the public. We set off from the Mansion house on a ramble through the woodlands and the walled gardens discussing what his job looks and feels like on a day-to-day basis, the work that goes into designing and maintaining a historic house estate, and how he became a gardener. We were accompanied by a huge variety of wildlife including insects, birds and some very tiny ducklings which you can hopefully hear as part of our recording! The episode works as a standalone chat, but if you’d like to see images of the different spaces, sculptures, ponds and gardens we discuss, then please visit the episode page on the Cultural Peeps WordPress site. Today's guest is Dave Johns, one of the most respected and best loved stand up comics working on the British comedy circuit. Dave is also a multi-award winning film and stage actor and is probably best known for his breakthrough role in Ken Loach's critically acclaimed film 'I, Daniel Blake' which won the coveted Palme D'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival and was also winner of the BAFTA for the Most Outstanding British Film. In this episode, we talk about Dave's early life as a bricklayer, his love of improvisational comedy and how after a visit to the Comedy store in London in the late 80's, he started his own comedy club in Newcastle, booking the likes of Jo Brand and Steve Coogan who were on their own ascent at the time.We also talk about Dave's role in the Edinburgh Fringe production of 12 angry men in 2003 (which starred fellow comedians Bill Bailey, Stephen Frost and Jeff Green), his West End stage run in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, alongside Christian Slater and his own stage adaptations of Stephen King's 'Rita Heyworth and the Shawshank Redemption' as well as 'I, Daniel Blake'.There are some great anecdotes, particularly around Dave's experiences at the Cannes Film Festival, including conversations with Donald Sutherland and Stephen Spielberg.I had about 90 minutes with Dave - but I genuinely think we could have easily recorded 4 or 5 episodes worth of material and we would still only have scratched the surface of Dave's amazingly rich life in comedy, stage, television and film....but, I hope this captures a flavour of both his career and life outlook.Thanks to Dave for the time and generosity and a special thanks to Joyce Jobe for helping set up this chat and I hope you enjoy the episode.Dave Johns: https://davejohns.net/Ken Loach: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_LoachI, Daniel Blake: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I,_Daniel_BlakeI, Daniel Blake (Trailer): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahWgxw9E_h4Melbourne Festival: https://www.melbournefestival.co.uk/Edinburgh Festival: https://www.eif.co.uk/Edinburgh Festival Fringe: https://www.edfringe.com/Whose Line is It Anyway? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0163507/Sarah Millican: https://sarahmillican.co.uk/my-tour-has-started/North East Culture Award: https://necultureawards.com/northeastcultureawards2024/en/page/homeCannes Film Festival: https://www.festival-cannes.com/en/B.F.G (Film): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZ0Bey4YUGISunday for Sammy: https://www.sundayforsammy.org/Norther Stage: https://northernstage.co.uk/The Comedy Store: https://thecomedystore.co.uk/Friday Night Live: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturday_Live_(British_TV_programme)Ben Elton: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_EltonJo Brand: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jo_BrandFrank Skinner: https://www.frankskinnerlive.com/Amando Iannucci: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armando_IannucciGuy Masterson: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guy_Masterson12 Angry Men: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/12_Angry_Men_(1957_film)Nica Burns: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nica_BurnsChristian Slater: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000225/Stephen King: https://stephenking.com/index.htmlRita Heyworth and the Shawshank Redemption: Olivier Gaumet: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olivier_Gourmet23 Walks: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9699620/
This week's guests are Sophie and Scarlett Rickard - who together make graphic novels.If you've ever wondered what graphic novels are, or how they are made, then this is the episode for you!We take a deep dive into how Scarlett and Sophie have worked collaboratively to produce 3 beautiful books - including their their critically acclaimed debut, 'Mann's best friend' which is set in the fictional town of Oldroyd, where the lives of ordinary people play out through a story of family, friendship and fear of failure.We also discuss at their adaptation of Robert Tressell's 'The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists' (1914) which tells the story of a group of working men in the fictional town of Mugsborough, and of socialist journeyman-prophet Frank Owen, who attempts to convince his fellow workers that capitalism is the real source of the poverty all around them.Their latest book, is based on 'No Surrender', which was originally written by Constance Maud, and first published in 1911, the year women across the country boycotted the British census by spoiling forms with the words “I don’t count so I won’t be counted” and “no persons here, only women.”We hear about how Sophie writes the stories - or in the case of 'The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists' and 'No Surrender', adapts each of the original novels into a script format, which Scarlett then storyboards and develops into the beautiful panels that form the final graphic novels.We also talk about how publishing and editing works as well as their upcoming 4th book, 'This Slavery' which is due out in 2025.If you are interested in learning more, or would like to buy copies of the books we discuss in this episode, you can find these, along with lots more information at rickardsisters.comAs usual, I've included links in the podcast notes - and if you'd like to see images of the panels we discuss in the episode, then please visit the project blog (culturalpeeps.wordpress.com) or our social media channels.Thanks to both Scarlett and Sophie for generously giving me so much of their time and for providing this fascinating insight into their creative process.As a huge fan of their work, I loved making this one, and I really hope you enjoy our chat.Links:The Rickard Sisters (About): https://rickardsisters.com/about/The Rickard Sisters: https://rickardsisters.com/The Rickard Sisters (Substack): https://rickardsisters.substack.com/The Rickard Sister’s Shop: https://rickardsisters.com/shop/Self Made Hero (Publisher): https://selfmadehero.com/Mann’s Best Friend: https://rickardsisters.com/product/manns-best-friend/No Surrender: https://selfmadehero.com/books/no-surrender & https://rickardsisters.com/product/no-surrender/The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists: https://selfmadehero.com/books/the-ragged-trousered-philanthropists & https://rickardsisters.com/product/the-ragged-trousered-philanthropists/This Slavery (Upcoming Book): https://rickardsisters.com/news-post/introducing-this-slavery/Arts Council England: https://www.artscouncil.org.uk/David Hine: https://www.selfmadehero.com/creators/david-hineRickard Sisters on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/therickardsisters/?hl=en-gb
Welcome to the second part of my conversation with Justine Boussard is a walking chat around the Great North Museum Hancock in Newcastle and focuses on her current project 'The Amateur Ancestor’.The ‘Amateur Ancestor’ project was inspired by the ‘Long Time Project’, which was set up by Beatrice Pembroke and Ella Saltmarshe, and puts into practice the belief that culture can play an active role in bringing about radical and necessary system changes by creating emotional, memorable experiences that shine a different light on our heritage - and underpin the need for action.Justine was commissioned to create an ‘Amateur Ancestor’ tour of the Great North Museum for young people by the staff at Tyne and Wear Museum and Archives in 2023. The brief was to use the existing museum collections and displays to cultivate long time thinking, encourage care for past and future generations, and create empathy for other species.By encouraging us all to practice thinking like good ancestors – and thinking about the legacy we are leaving for future generations, Justine hopes we can reframe ourselves our role as ancestors and grow our capacity to care for the future and take responsibility for generations to come.Our chat is based around some of the key objects that she used in her tour and gives a flavour of how the tours are both designed and presented. If you’d like to see images of the objects that Justine and I talk about in our walking tour of the Great North Museum Hancock, then these are included on the project blog and are also on the Cultural Peeps social media channels.Thanks to Justine for the wonderful and eye-opening day and I hope you enjoy Part 2 of this episode!Links: Justine Boussard: https://www.justineboussard.co.uk/The Amateur Ancestor: https://www.justineboussard.co.uk/portfolio/amateur-ancestor-toursThe Long Time Project: https://www.thelongtimeproject.org/The Long Time: Beatrice Pembroke & Ella Saltmarshe: https://medium.com/@thelongtimeinquiry/the-long-time-3383b43d42abThe Long Time Academy: https://www.thelongtimeacademy.com/Roman Krznaric: https://www.romankrznaric.com/Moral Imaginations: https://www.moralimaginations.com/Great North Museum: https://greatnorthmuseum.org.uk/Climate Museum UK: https://climatemuseumuk.org/Bridgette McKenzie: https://bridgetmckenzie.uk/Great North Museum – Great North Nights: https://greatnorthmuseum.org.uk/whats-on/great-north-nights
Welcome to another 2-part episode of the cultural Peeps podcast.This week’s guest is Justine Bussard, a curator and producer with a decade’s worth of experience working on design and craft exhibitions, artist-led public engagement, research and creative programming. The first part of our chat focuses on Justine’s career journey so far, whilst the second part is a walking chat around the Great North Museum Hancock in Newcastle and focuses on her current project ‘The Amateur Ancestor’ – this project is based around commissioned tours of existing museum collections, institutions and spaces which are designed to cultivate long time thinking, care for past and future generations, and create empathy for other species. By encouraging us to practice thinking like good ancestors – and thinking about the legacy we are leaving for future generations, Justine hopes we can reframe ourselves and our role as ancestors and grow our capacity to care for the future and take responsibility for generations to come.This was a fascinating pair of conversations which led to me explore lots of the different texts and projects we discussed throughout the day – I’ve included links to as many of these as possible in the podcast notes – and if you’d like to see images of the objects that Justine and I talk about in our walking tour of the Great North Museum Hancock in Part 2, then these are included on the project blog (www.culturakpeeps.wordpress.com) and are also featured on the cultural peeps social media channels.Links: Justine Boussard: https://www.justineboussard.co.uk/The Amateur Ancestor: https://www.justineboussard.co.uk/portfolio/amateur-ancestor-toursThe Long Time Project: https://www.thelongtimeproject.org/The Long Time: Beatrice Pembroke & Ella Saltmarshe: https://medium.com/@thelongtimeinquiry/the-long-time-3383b43d42abThe Long Time Academy: https://www.thelongtimeacademy.com/Roman Krznaric: https://www.romankrznaric.com/Moral Imaginations: https://www.moralimaginations.com/Great North Museum: https://greatnorthmuseum.org.uk/Design Museum: https://designmuseum.org/Science Museum: https://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/homeVictoria & Albert Museum: https://www.vam.ac.uk/Climate Museum UK: https://climatemuseumuk.org/Bridgette McKenzie: https://bridgetmckenzie.uk/Natural History Museum: https://www.nhm.ac.uk/Royal College of Arts: https://www.rca.ac.uk/Crafts Council: https://www.craftscouncil.org.uk/Daniel Charney: https://www.linkedin.com/in/danielcharny/?originalSubdomain=uk
This episode features 2 chats with Joe Hufton, The Artistic Director and CEO of November Club, An award-winning performing-arts charity who tell original stories and work in unusual places and spaces.The first of our chats took place last summer, in June 2023 and the second is a more recent catch up, recorded in July 2024 and was an opportunity to find out what Joe had been doing over the last 12 months.I first came across Joe’s work at Woodhorn Museum in 2019, through a production called ‘First Footing’ which was a journey through the past 100 years of Woodhorn’s unique heritage as a former colliery site, told through story, art installations, theatre and dance.More recently, I saw November Club’s site-specific show ‘The Unlocked Door’ at the National Trust’s Seaton Delaval Hall in November 2022 – That production used innovative storytelling and theatre to explore some of the lesser-known narratives from the Hall's past.In our first chat we talk about Joe’s journey in site-specific theatre, working across the world for companies such as Les Enfants Terribles, Immersive Cult and Secret Cinema. In the second chat we talk about Joe's recent work on the BBC/ Cbeebies' Rainbow Adventure and the Taskmaster Live Experience.LinksNovember Club: https://www.novemberclub.org.uk/Seaton Delaval Hall: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/north-east/seaton-delaval-hallThe Unlocked Door (November Club Production at Seaton Delaval Hall): https://www.novemberclub.org.uk/previous-work/the-unlocked-doorDamien Cruden – Alnwick Playhouse: https://alnwickplayhouse.co.uk/Slung Low: https://www.slunglow.org/Punch Drunk: https://www.punchdrunk.com/LAMDA: https://www.lamda.ac.uk/Secret Cinema: https://www.secretcinema.com/Secret Cinema (Back to the Future): https://www.secretcinema.com/productions/back-to-the-futureLes Enfant Terrible: https://lesenfantsterribles.co.uk/ Alices Adventures Underground: https://lesenfantsterribles.co.uk/shows/alices-adventures-underground-3/George Perrin (Theatre Director/ Coach): https://www.george-perrin.com/about
Welcome to another 2-part episode. This one with with Laura Crossley a Freelance Organisational Consultant.The first part was recorded in late May 2023, and the second part was recorded in June 2024.A bit of context about this episode - I always give participants the opportunity to listen back to our conversation before I make their episode live – and in the case of my conversation with Laura, there was a 12-month gap between the original recording, and its planned release date.Laura and I decided that we’d record an update – which forms the second part of this episode, and in which you’ll hear Laura reflecting on the last 12-months, including how her freelance work has developed and also about her transformational time on the Clore Leadership Programme, during which she’s been specifically thinking about issues relating to workplace culture.Links:Clore Leadership Programme: https://www.cloreleadership.org/programme/clore-fellowship/Association of Independent Museums: https://aim-museums.co.uk/London Historic Building Trust: https://londonhistoricbuildings.org.uk/National Football Museum: https://nationalfootballmuseum.com/History of Science Museum: https://www.hsm.ox.ac.uk/homeNational Trust: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/Sheringham Museum: https://www.sheringhammuseum.co.uk/Norwich Heritage Economic and Regeneration Trust (HEART): https://norwichheart.wordpress.com/about/University of East Anglia: https://www.uea.ac.uk/British Science Association: https://www.britishscienceassociation.org/British Mycological Society: https://www.britmycolsoc.org.uk/University of Salford: https://www.salford.ac.uk/University of Leicester: https://www.salford.ac.uk/University of Salford: https://www.salford.ac.uk/Lancaster University: https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/University of Copenhagen:https://www.ku.dk/english/
