This unit is aimed mainly at young people to enable them to increase their knowledge about nuclear energy, inform them of opportunities to take their learning further and encourage them to consider seeking employment in the nuclear energy industry. It covers energy use and learning how nuclear can contribute to meeting future energy needs and an exploration of the science and technology behind nuclear energy production. This study unit is just one of many that can be found on LearningSpace, part of OpenLearn, a collection of open educational resources from The Open University. Published in ePub 2.0.1 format, some feature such as audio, video and linked PDF are not supported by all ePub readers.
