Anastasia Gloza is an International Economic Relations student at the Institute Of International Relations (IIR), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (KNU).
Born in the capital Kyiv, Anastasia is a keen traveler who is also interested in diplomacy, literature, music and beginning to explore the world of politics. She also finds photography very relaxing but she is just a beginner running around with a phone.
Anastasia loves sports and used to attend dancing classes for about 10 years. Now, she is keeping herself in shape in the gym. In addition to this, she loves learning languages.
Back at her school, Anastasia actively participated in various events and competitions, in particular olimpiads in many subjects. She took second and third place in olimpiads in economics, as she finds that subject fascinating. And now at University, her and her team took part this year in CFA Institute Research Challenge Ukraine and successfully passed to the local final. She also wrote various articles and essays connected with economic issues.
Anastasia is creative and passionate in whatever she does and highly interested in self-development. She believes the modern world desperately needs bold and defiant ideas and can radically be changed by them.

Daria Ryashko is an International Law student at the Institute Of International Relations (IIR), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (KNU).
Born in a really small town called Chop, located in Zakarpattya near the Carpathians and Hungarian Border, western Ukraine, Dasha loves dancing and has been part of her local folk dance club for about 6 or 7 years, but now she stopped because she moved to Kyiv. She is also fascinated by learning new languages and she absolutely loves traveling to new countries and cities.
Dasha graduated from her school having all the A’s and, therefore, she received a gold medal. She also was an activist in school, and she was numerously chosen to present her school at different competitions and etc.
Dasha did athletics for a while and she even has a bronze medal for winning the relay race. Also her and her team participated in nearly every festival or competition possible in her region.

Yelyzaveta Frolkis is a double major, studying Business Economics at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (KNU) as well as studying Law at National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA).
Born in the capital Kyiv, Liza participated in 22 scientific and practical conferences of Model United Nations, with 18 of them as participant and 4 of them as an organizer.
In 2019, she was the President of the Model UN Junior in Lyceum "Naukova Zmina," and Chair of Economic and Social Council UN at MUN Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth (KPCY).
And she represented Ukraine in the second delegation ever that attended YMUN as a part of the team in 45th annual MUN in Yale University (in USA), the mandate of Kingdom of Bahrain in the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP).
In 2020, she was the Chair of Economic and Social Council UN at an online MUN Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth (KPCY), and the President of the "Next HUB MUN" in KPCY.
Liza also took places in the All-Ukrainian student olympiad in Law 2018/2019, and in the Geography and landscape science section of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2019/2020.
In May 2020, Liza defended a Business Plan as a part of microeconomics course called "International Creative University", created by the example of Minerva University.
And as a practicing gymnast, Liza took the Grand Prix in a festival in Slovakia in 2013, won the first degree in two categories in a festival "VIVA L'ITALIA!" in Italy in 2014, and in 2015, she took first place in the contest "Baltic Brilliant" in Lithuania, diplomas signed by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Lithuania Valeriy Zhovtenko.
When it comes to the English language, where Liza reached a C1 level, she has attended courses in England in 2015 and 2017, attended the London School of English in Kyiv from 2016 to 2020, and took second place in the stage 2 of the All-Ukrainian student olympiad in English in 2018/2019 and an Honourable mention for special achievements in learning English in 2021.
Liza also adores basketball, painting, singing, writing poetry and attending high heels dance classes.

Julie Shtenda is an Accounting manager in an American trucking company. Born in Stryi, in the Lviv region, and currently living with her boyfriend in Kyiv, Julie graduated from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with the specialization of electronic and information technologies of cinematography and audiovisual systems. And she worked as an operator of the call center at Wizz air flying company.
Her hobbies include skiing, reading, mostly fiction books and fantasy, as well as dancing. She visited 10 countries. And all her friends compare her to Monica (from the TV series Friends).

Nataliia Kalantaienko is a FLEX Alumna 2019, the assistant to the CEO of Ukrainian Volunteer Service, and an International Relations student at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
Nataliia received a Certificate of The U.S Department of State for fostering mutual understanding by completing more than 100 hours of community service in the United States.
Nataliia was also a finalist of World Link Melting Pot Essay Competition, a Top 10% of World Link students, a World Link FLEX Program Student of the Month for May 2019 and multiple winner of the All-Ukrainian Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literature Competition.

Yan Earl-Ruzhytskyi is an International Relations student at the Institute Of International Relations (IIR), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (KNU).
Born in Khmelnytskyi, Yan is a project manager of the non-governmental organization 'Public Diplomacy Platform' where he is in charge of various projects including "Diplomacy Talks".
Yan is also in charge of preparing the launch of the Youth Lublin Triangle - an international platform between youth from Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania.

Mariia Panchenko is a Law Student at National University Of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA), and the co-founder and coordinator of the anti-discrimination platform RECORD UP, which is a community fighting for equality and to stop discrimination.

Polina Shumska is a FLEX Alumna '20 (Visalia, California) and a FLEX City Representative of Sloviansk '21. During her FLEX experience, she volunteered for approximately 150 hours and she was a SCICON (Science Conservation Camp) counselor.
Born in a little village on the outskirts of Sloviansk, Polina graduated from Sloviansk ZOSH #5 and from music school as she can play the piano. As a FLEX City Representative of Sloviansk, she organized various projects including recently a cleanup on the hill, and a self-defense webinar dedicated to Sexual Assault Awareness month.

Olha Volianska is a Psychology Student at Ukrainian Catholic University, a journalist of the Ukrainian podcast «POLITpodcast» and a member of the UCU student organization POLITclub UCU.
Olha actively volunteered as a journalist during her school years (for instance, by interviewing the head of Alliance Française based in Lviv and the current ambassador of France in Ukraine). She speaks English and French fluently while always trying to perfect them, and she participated in a lot of school language contests, taking prize places.
Olha grew up in Lviv, and she is into reading the classics, preferably historical novels as well as psychological and philosophical works.

Olha Burdeina is the winner of the €100,000 EU Eastern Partnership Scholarship to study International Baccalaureate at the Eastern Partnership European School Tbilisi “New School” in Georgia.
Born in the marvelous city of Chernivtsi, Ukraine, Olha is an active member of 5 social organizations, a volunteer, a project manager, an IB student, an actress and a great thrill-seeker.
As a great fan of theatre, Olha is an actress in the Chernivtsi Trama theatre named after Olha Kobylianska.
As a real thrill-seeker, Olha is fond of cycling and last summer managed to cover 100km by bike. She also enjoys mountaineering and hiking and has conquered 5 Ukrainian peaks.
As a social activist, volunteer, project manager and facilitator, Olha is The Head of The Youth Council’s Committee of Education, Deputy Head of the Regional Representative Office of the public organization «Let’s Do It, Ukraine», HR-manager of the social organization «Association of Chernivtsi Cyclists», and a Member of the social organization «Foundation of Regional Initiatives».

Olya Andersona is a Sociology Student at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (KNU).
Born in Rivne, Olya has worked as a designer since the age of 16 and has cooperated with online festivals, real estate agencies, online shops, and made graphics for “Study UA”.
