Berte 'Federico aka DJ Berto was born on 14/07/1981 in Bologna. The seeds of his passion for music grew thanks his brother, a keen collector of vinyl records from the early 90's. This gave Berto, exposure to house, techno, snap Africa bambataa, moby and various styles of alternative rock. In '98 Berto became a keen visitor to Echoes & Cocorico', riviera's best club, while years later trips were made to Ibiza and more importantly, a life changing experience, in Frankfurt, at cocoon club. It was at cocoon were Berto began to listen to avant garde music with DJs such as Karotte and genres such as funky house, Chicago house and tribal house mix with experimental electronic. He performed for three consecutive years every Friday at Judith atelier, a bar made famous for its nightlife and music, which was greatly received by the public until 2004. His passion for DJing became more evident and Berto first steps in the club scene were played in the infamous Bologna night scene at matis, kinky, hut privee', kinder garten privee ', and in the latter stages, at soda pops with members Tito and rain. It was at Soda Pops were the trio founded the craziest night in the bologna music scene aptly named tag party; where he plays various music styles techno, tech house and funky house glitch members with rain and Tito.
