Drum & Bass remake of a Commodore 64 video game's title track. Delta, originally written by Rob Hubbard on the C64's SID chip a long, looong time ago (1987). It's been one of my favourite all-time tunes since I was a young child and there's just something about that specific noun, Delta, that has long been integral to my existence.
A modern remake of Ben Daglish's title track from the Commodore 64 videogame, Yie Ar Kung-Fu.
The remix of this track was my friend, Faystar, and her now-deceased husband's song. I just had to do an electronic cover of it for her.

I was with a girl, once-upon-a-time, and I put a ring on her finger.. after 3 years she dumped me for my best mate. In hindsight, it was the best thing that ever happened to me ๐๐ผ

This song was 75% complete when she left, and yeah, it was for her. But, I don't write breakup songs anymore. Instead, I chuck in some angrily distorted electric guitar, it seems (as opposed to the softly plucked arpeggios that I had planned on contributing from my acoustic/electric steel-string guitar, coated in a syrupy chorus/delay sound.) Sometimes I wonder what this song 'could' have been, had things turned out differently...

U2's "Pride (In The Name of Love)". Going for a Classic Nineties Techno sound. I sound-designed the 'Classic Techno' instrument from the ground up, and someone I knew named it "Storm Wars".
Sometimes this modern world can make one feel like an anachronistic invader... No escape? This was written for an assignment whilst studying audio-engineering at Box Hill Institute in Melbourne. We had to write everything ourselves, including sourcing the samples. Fun, though! I learnt some decent tricks for Reason, which is now my DAW of choice. This was composed with a pirated Reason 4; I now own the original of Reason Suite 11, and I've improved a lot since back then, also.
The song is actually about white man Trespassing on the Indigenous Australian's home soil, and then selling chunks of it etc. (They must be "disgusted" with us!) It's a journey where a group of them travel back to nature. The arpeggio-based instrument that I created during the first chorus I named, "Electric Fence thingy"... um, yeah.
Dancey, upbeat EDM reauthor of U2's All I Want Is You, with some Manuka Honey Syrupy Shampoo to begin this particular day's journey with. I turned the original chords into fifths and octaves and sped it up for a much more positive vibe, relinquishing it from its distressingly enchanting minor chord saturation.
