Artist Spotlight: Mario Florek

Started his professional music journey in early 2000’s under trance alias : “M Project”. The co-founder of “Tranzit Events” & the co-founder of “Chicago Trance Family” community on social medias. A true kick start of his deejay career was possible because of a huge support of his fan base during the lunch of “Trance Visions” & “Trance Wired” podcast music series. Soon after he became the music director of progressive & trance channel on 1 Club FM radio station & a resident deejay at the Chicago’s iconic night club “Vision”. For over a decade solidifying his grounds in Chicago night life scene he grew as a deejay and a promoter building a solid progressive trance foundation at the same time. This opened the doors for him to play shows with many world class artists such as : Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, ATB, Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery, Marcus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, Infected Mushrooms & many more; which also lead to many appearances on the Midwest top festivals such as : “Spring Awakening Music Festival” & “North Coast Music”. You could of catch him live in action spinning at “Sound-Bar”Chicago & also making appearances at other Chicago’s top venues such as “Concord Music Hall” not to forget about fans favorite west loop nightclub “the Mid” which closed its doors back in 2019. Till today’s day you can catch him live in action at “Prysm” night club where he makes regular appearances playing entertaining back to back sets with his studio buddy Peter Kontor.
