If Good Friday was so good, why do we need Easter Sunday? Christ was crucified for our offences but more importantly He was raised for our justification. Why do we need justification?
The only way that we can experience Salvation is through Christ death on the Cross. We can discuss, cry, fight and debate as much as we want, but God’s Word is clear and that sacrifice needed to be made to fulfil the law. And thought it is a sad and difficult thing for Him, Christ made the decision to carry His cross for all of our sakes.
As believers, we need to seek truth and pursue it. The world today is looking to be real but being real does not necessarily gives you the truth. The bible even encourages us to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Listen in as Pr Kenneth shares with us on how worship and devotion to God can give us truth which sets us free.

Can we truly believe all that God has promised us or do we doubt first and try everything else first before we go to God with our petition? Who told you that it cannot be done?
Who should we honour? The Bible tells us to honour our father and mother. Why should we? Because if we can’t do it for the ones we can see, there’s no guarantee that you’ll do it for God whom we cannot see.

We need to prepare to Move Forward! As believers, we shouldn’t allow what we see on the outside determine what we feel on the inside. If we are strong on the inside, there is nothing we cannot face on the outside.
Many times, we do what we feel but not every time we do what we feel may be the best things for us. Does a great athlete just do what they feel to be the best or do they do what they need to do even when they don’t feel like it. Pr Kenneth shares with up how we should live by faith and not how we feel.
The Holy Spirit is our Helper and Counsellor and He’s an important person in our lives as Believers of Christ.
God's plan and God's purpose is for families and when we have successful families, they come together to make a strong church.
God’s Peace is one of the things that was left for us and this Peace is something that you can’t find anywhere here in the world. Yes you might find peace in this world but God’s peace is unique and different. Hear Pr Kenneth share on how unique or beneficial this Peace is to us.
One of the most important things that would set us up for a breakthrough in our lives is to know who we are and who we belong to. The Lord’s prayer was taught by Jesus to the disciples when they asked him how they should pray and it’s full of so much truth and secrets to breakthrough that we need to take note of.
What are you thinking of majority of the time? What are you preoccupied with? What is going on in your mind most of the time? The mind is a powerful thing and if we are not careful, we might be dwelling on things that can cause us to go deeper and deeper into our problems. The Bible teaches us to meditate on the right things and when our minds are in the right place then we can experience breakthrough.
It’s so important to be a thankful believer! Not everything turns out the way we may have hoped or prayed for and we might come to a place where we become hurt, discouraged and even angry with God and we might open the door for the enemy to lay a claim on our life. Being thankful helps us to remember the things that God has done for us in the past and gives us hope for the future.
Stay faithful. He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. This is not just a great value to have but it’s also something that can get you far in life, to be able to reach the completion of things.
The problem with our lives as believers is that sometimes we can stop believing without realising it. But believing is the key in our lives that can open the door of opportunities. Pr Kenneth continues with this series with more truths and thoughts that can help you with your breakthrough.
All of us are have our own “fights” that we are involved in and the apostle Paul in the bible encourages us to fight the good fight and finish the race. Pr Kenneth shared with us 21 truths and thoughts that can help us breakthrough the year drawn from the Word of God and from his own life and experiences walking with Jesus. This series is not just a good reminder but also an encouragement to us as believers on how we can life of fulfilment and purpose.
Pr Kenneth recounts the story of a dog he and Pr Sandra observed while taking the train one day and the story of that dog is a reflection of what God can do with us when we are obedient.
The Bible says, ”Serve the Lord without distraction” in 1 Corinthians 7:35. This tells us that we can actually lose focus and be distracted from what God wants us to do and what’s most important.
Is Christ enough in times of need? Is Christ enough in time trouble? Is Christ enough in all situations? The Bible has many scriptures which encourages us that all we need is Christ and that God will supply all our needs.
The Gospel, God’s Only Son Provides Eternal Life, is either reflected in our daily lives or it will not. We either believe that Christ is enough, or we don’t. There is no in between.
The Gospel is NOT Christ +/-. The Gospel that the Apostle Paul presented to the Galatians is that Christ is enough and we don’t need to add to or subtract from Christ and if things are added to Christ, that is not the true Gospel that we should believe in.
Christ is enough. Do we really believe that?
The Gospel presents itself with that fundamental truth that Christ is enough for us. He is our all and everything and all we need is Him. Listen in as Pr Kenneth unpacks this truth with us.
The Lord is the God of Breakthrough. When faced with challenges in life, we all feel like resigning, giving up and throwing the towel. But thankfully in God’s vocabulary you cannot find the word “resign”. He doesn’t resign from loving us and wanting the best for us.

There are days that we have a mountain top experience and there are days that we will have to go through the valley and that is life. Thankfully, we don’t have to stay in the valley because in Psalm 23 it says that we are to go through the valley and in addition to that God is with us in that journey. Are you in the valley today? What do you choose to see? Does fear blind you from seeing God, who is on your side, and His promises? God will be with us in our trial and testing - in our wilderness. He didn’t bring us this far to leave us here.

At the end of the day, it’s the still small voice of God that will do it for us all.
In the final part of this series, we talk about Fear- which is a spirit. Iit affects us physically, emotionally and most importantly spiritually and it needs to be cast out.
Fear does not come from God. It changes our perception, it has a certain smell and it paralyses us. Thankfully God teaches us that perfect love casts out all fear and we can experience this love.

We feel anxious because of the actions of others and we want to do something about our situation but we feel stuck and unsure of how to deal with it.
If Anxiety is not dealt with, it can lead to Fear.
In preparation to face the world post Covid-19, we need to overcome worry, anxiety and fear - all of which are very different things.
Thankfully God's word provides practical steps in overcoming them.

Worship can refresh us.
When we enter into worship, we can be renewed by God’s presence. Worship can refresh us, but it is not totally true that worship can make us brand new. It can neither preserve us from sin nor protect us from the desires of our flesh.
The entire church service, as even the whole of life, must be a worship.
We often perceive worship as a part or portion of a church service where it’s all about the songs. However, worship is not just a song or action; and worship is definitely not just a portion of a church service.
This is a continuation of the series titled “Why Worship Works”. In the past six points, Pr Kenneth spoke about the spiritual aspects of worship and how worship is a crucial ingredient to our identity and purpose – who we are as beings, not just Christians.
Today we dive deeper to see how worship should permeate through our day, influencing and sometimes even dictating how we interact with the world!
When we become worshippers, we will experience more and more the authority of God in and through our lives, and God will bless us with the authority that we need to live a victorious life.

Worship was first mentioned in the Bible when Abraham was ready to obey God in offering Isaac as a burnt offering on one of the mountains in the land of Moriah.
Abraham was able to answer a tough calling to surrender his only and beloved son Isaac because Abraham was first a worshipper before a father.
This reveals that when we worship God, giving God our best comes naturally. But in this day and age, worship may seem irrelevant and people are not giving their best to God.
In the book of Daniel, he purposed in his heart to not defile himself with the kings food and wine and he asked the eunuch for 10 days to be tested with another diet. Likewise, as we come to our 20 years anniversary as Acts Church, we believe that in the next 10 years we will be tested and we would need to take on God’s diet for our lives.
God’s diet will produce God results.

To please and to glorify God are a huge part of worship.
To please is personal, and to glorify is to make public. You can please but not glorify, and you can also glorify but not please. We ought to have a relationship with God in the privacy of our lives, and we also should praise Him in the open.
The presence of God comes upon those who please Him, and the power of God comes upon those who glorify Him.
It’s the year 2020 and we as Acts Church are looking forward to 2020 and beyond. Purpose is our theme this year and we are gearing towards what God has in store for us for the next 20 years. Listen in as Pr Kenneth shares with us what we can expect in the message today.
God want’s us to to start looking out into the world. We’re living the Kingdom of God and Christ came and preached about God’s Kingdom to us. We should practice the Kingdom and share about the God’s Kingdom to fulfil the purpose that God has for our lives. But how does God’s Kingdom come?
The Kingdom of God sometimes look really small, ridiculous and it doesn’t make sense. But as small as it is, it’s very powerful, it can grow bigger and it can cause change. We need to understand that God’s Kingdom is the opposite from the world and the way the world works. Man works by majority but God works by minority.
The Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed that grew and became a large tree. If you have seen a mustard seed before you would know that it’s a really small seed but once it’s planted it can grow to a very big tree, likewise The Kingdom of God might start small but it has the potential to tremendous growth once it’s planted.
The Kingdom of God is not just amazing but it’s also the answer for every need and every problem in our lives. If we choose to live the Kingdom and choose the ways of God’s Kingdom then nothing is impossible to us. Listen in as Pr Kenneth unpacks this vital truth to us.
God wants us to trust Him more, so that we can expand and increase the hope that we have in Him. Hope comes because we trust and trust comes because we depend. Trouble and challenges can come at any time and at any moment and what’s important for us to do is to hope and have hope in God.
As we celebrate Christmas this December, do we know the significance of the birth of Jesus to mankind? We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He is God incarnate. Listen in as Pr Kenneth shares with us why did God become man.
There are times in our lives we feel that God makes us do things but He is not with us. He launches us out into the sea but He didn’t follow us in the boat. King David was a man after God’s own heart. Yet, he committed adultery with Bathsheba and later on murdered her husband Uriah to cover up his sin. How did he come to this place? Sometimes we can make commitments which can derail us from God’s destiny for our lives as King David did.

God is love and God loves us but love is not God. So we need to know that it’s not love we worship but the God that loves us. It’s a 2 way street and that is what God created us to do, which is to love Him. And love being powerful, wins over all.
We sign up for many things in our lives and if we’re honest with ourselves, many times we might not fully maximise what we signed up for whether it’s a gym membership or a new venture which we were interested in. Likewise, we might as followers of Christ, sign up to be a Christian but may not be fully interested in God’s business or experience fully what it’s truly like to follow Christ. So what should we do?

Jesus stooped down and pause even when He already has the right response to a question, so that others could be ready to receive the word of conviction.
We might not need to press “stop” & “rewind now, but press “pause” to check on your heart and your life.
How can you reward others with Good when you are rewarded with Evil? It is unthinkable to do so when we are wronged by others.
Yet, David demonstrated that there is a God way when David considered King Saul the Lord’s anointed even though King Saul persistently wanted to kill David.
When Jesus ascended into heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit down to be our helper. The Bible says that He falls upon those who are anointed. Without Him, even the best Christian cannot obey God’s commands. The Good News? The Holy Spirit is powerful and available to you and me today.
