InMyMind: Do you want to know the quickest way to restore peace, balance and harmony in your life? Change your expectations! Here’s what I mean. Change your expectations to acceptance. Stop expecting people to be what they are not and just accept them for who they are. Stop expecting things to be what you want them to be and just accept it for what it is. When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

InMyMind: “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” -  1 Corinthians 13:11

As boys, we reason as young men, but at what point do we decide to put away toys, games, distractions, etc., to become men? And how do we do that? Today is a special day that required a special message. Today is my oldest brother's birthday. Being able to watch this human being develop into the man he is today has been so instrumental and inspirational to me. I am so glad, blessed, and honored that he is in life not only as my big brother but also as my friend. Happy birthday, bro!

InMyMind: When you really think about it, outside of being a kid, you determine your own reality. So you can sit back and blame, point, and pin all your faults on others but at the end of it all, nothing will change until you do. The responsibility lays with you. Your own habits determine your reality more than any other human being can impact your life, so if we are what we repeatedly do, what are you gonna do to change it?

InMyMind: It is too easy to blame others for what is going on in our own lives, but they don't control you, you control you. With that said, and as soon as you take control of your own life by being aware, accepting, aligned, and accountable for what is, you can prepare for what's next. To thine own self, always be true. Thank you!

InMyMind: When I think about time, I usually associate that with what I gotta do. Meaning I quickly start to think about what I have to do, meaning my responsibilities, but what if I change that? What if I thought about what I get to do versus what I got to do. And how I break that all down is segmenting how I think about my temperament, intelligence, mindset/mentality, and energy i.e., my T.I.M.E.

What will you do with your T.I.M.E.?

InMyMind: Happy birthday to me! The BIG 45!!! Nall scratch that The BIG FORTY-FINE!!! Age ain’t nothing but a number, right?! A number that signifies how many revolutions you’ve been able to make since your entrance into this world. Oscar Wilde said, “With age comes wisdom, but sometimes age comes alone.” Man that is so true. To me, the sum of a person’s life is the total sum of expansion we observe through our lived experiences. And being aware of this is critical. Once you are aware of this paradox you have to own your experience. And to own your experience means you have to do things on purpose and with purpose. To do this, I gave my life an equation. My life’s purpose equation are my (intentions x actions x opportunities) = results which determines my reality. Because a life lived with intention met by actions prepares you for your opportunities, thus leading to results. Now that’s a life lived on purpose, nall that’s a life lived through purpose! #Message

NoteToSelf: Ain't nobody hatin' on me and let's be honest, ain't nobody hatin' on you either. Now, that is not to say that you don't have people that don't rock with you. And you may also have people that offer criticism and feedback, but that ain't the same as hate. Hate is something much more insidious and stronger than critical feedback. In fact, critical feedback, if used properly, can be something that sharpens your blade and makes your product, performance, or whatever it is you are putting out there that much better. Just look at MJ, Michael Jordan, legend has it that he got cut from making the varsity basketball team, and well...the rest is history. He didn't let that make him bitter, it made him better. Well, he is still a lil' bitter...lol! Anyway, go ahead and press play to this episode of #InMyMindEverbodyKnowsChris and like always, you'll be glad you did. #Enjoy #Message

InMyMind: And in my opinion, you can't find your life's purpose if you are not aligned to your life's passions. What I mean by this is your purpose in life is usually directly fueled by your passions. You know the things that make you, you! You know those things that you like doing no matter the cost, expense, etc. Who would you be if failure wasn't an option or money wasn't an issue? If you can answer that, I am sure your life's passions and purpose are not too far behind. Thank you for tuning into "In My Mind: Everybody Knows Chris" enjoy!

The fight against racism has to be based in solutions, not emotions, not words, or grand gestures but solutions. And those solutions have to address the real-life economic issues and hardships or racism in this country and abroad. And in those solutions we have to stay committed. The commitment to those solutions will lead us to the answers to properly address our problems. For it is written though weeping may endure for a night, joy cometh in the morning! #MESSAGE

InMyMind: Doing these podcasts has given me an increased audience. Most that have known me have always said that I was wise beyond my years or as the kids would say, "I was dropping  jewels"  and I may have been dropping jewels, but those jewels came at a cost.

The cost was my blood, sweat, tears and also having the strength and courage to face my fears. I paid my dues. You see we are like diamonds and like a diamond was once a piece of coal crushed under immense pressure to form into a precious gemstone, it too must be cut and hewn into a jewel.

So the next time the pressure is on, just relax and know that you are being formed into a precious jewel and the jewels you made are from the dues you've paid.

InMyMind: In life we do a lot of asking but are we ready to receive. Are we willing to give. My cousin use to have this tagline on his business card, "Win/Win or No Deal" and I absolutely loved that because it is a Universal Principle. It was all about the give and take that comes with life.

So as you go through life please remember these two important things that should proceed any ask. Ask yourself , "am I ready for it?" And, "what do I have to offer?" And if you have an answer for those two questions you already have what you've asked for.

InMyMind: For it is written, "Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts..."

We want the win without the risk of a loss, we want the success but don't want to go through the process. This is not only an absurd thought process it is witchcraft and hocus pocus because if you do achieve some success it will be short lived.

Let's learn to embrace what comes our way by rejoicing in our struggles because this builds us up so that our legacies and loved ones will last forever.

We need to make sure we all have a place where we can where everybody knows our name to help us remember who we are.  While I was visiting home and recharging my batteries my boy Corey "Wiseman" Curtis blessed me with a beautiful message that meant the world to me. He said, "we need to learn to grow love instead of always trying to show love." MESSAGE!  I'm glad I have a place where everybody know my name and they are always glad I came. InMyMind: Life is a trip! And speaking about trips...once we set out on these great adventures we often want to grab a memento once the trip is over.

Back in my day I use to hit up Black College Reunion Week (BCR) or more aptly know as Black Beach Week (BBW) lol, no not the porno meaning! Hahaha get ya minds out of the gutter. I use to love to grab a commemorative t-shirt or something like that to wear around to show-off where I've been...ya know been there done that and I got the t-shirt!

In this podcast I just wanted to remind you "don't forget the t-shirt" but take it with you. Take the lessons that life teaches you with you. Remember if you've been there, done that, get that t-shirt and put a positive message on the shirt too! Something that will remind you that "this too shall pass".

InMyMind - "So what's up man? Cooling man. Chilling...chilling? Yo you know I had to call, you know why right...?" Yeah I know why! You wanna know what's going on in my mind. Well in my mind everybody knows Chris!

In this episode I am discussing the simple concept of how you can and should "Protect Ya Neck" and your assets! What plans or processes do we have in place to protect our selves from life?

We get out here in this thing called life without any real plan or expectations and then we are surprised at why we don't have any return on our investments. What did we really expect?! You get out what you put in!

Once we gain something of value what are we doing to protect it? What insurance is there in place to protect our assets? How do we benefit from the hard work of getting after we get it...get it?

Think about this concept the next major move you make in your life. What are we doing to protect our legacies? What are we doing to protect our necks?

The Wu set this podcast up real proper for me! Moving on your left haaaa! You best protect ya neck...message!

InMyMind:  Que song lyrics from "These Dreams" by Heart goes a lil something like this, "These dreams go on when I close my eyes. Every second of the night I live another life." Man listen I love all things 80's music and I really love "These Dreams" by Heart and every now and then I look at the lyrics.

The reason why I read the lyrics because behind the melodies of these songs there is always a #message. And the message that I took from that song is this...these dreams go when we close our eyes and we go to sleep every night!

Last year on Jan 16, 2018, I made a decision to chase a dream of mine. One of my main dreams was to own, operate and run my own business. I took my career, my future, my life into my hands when I decided to leave a very toxic work environment and it was the most stressful thing that I've ever done, but it was necessary.

Something magical happen when I made that necessary decision to believe and bet on myself, instead of me chasing my dreams my dreams started chasing me! And trust me you want your dreams chasing you because if you don't decide to chase your dreams it won't be your dreams chasing you it will be your nightmares. #Message

InMyMind: Having a AAA membership gives you a sense of security when you would set out on a road trip. How often are we using our membership throughout our daily trips in this thing called life? Like anything else you can't take advantage of the membership unless you use it.

What do I mean by Triple A (AAA)? My triple A's stand for accept, allow, and align. Using our ability to accept the fact or truth of the matter. Our openness to allow the truth to manifest the way it needs to in our lives. The last A stands for alignment which is the final touch during the process of dealing with the truth.

Once we've accepted the truth and have allowed it to manifest as needed in our lives we lastly must align with it. We must conduct ourselves according to what it, the truth, is and move forward.

So when we are setting out on our trips, to our appointed destinations, with our estimated time of arrival (ETA's) let's all make sure that we have access to our AAA membership and that we use it, or we may end up losing it. #Message

InMyMind: “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, which is why we call it the present.” - Bill Keane

Today was tough! There are many people that lay within the periphery of our lives. We know them, we see them, we are acquainted. We may party together, we may work together, we may see them at the gym, but they are there. Although, they may not be a key factor or a major part of our lives, they are there and need to be acknowledged and honored.

I recently lost an acquaintance and the news of his passing brought me to a stand still. I also remember losing another good friend while at work one day. Their demise is a stark reminder that life is not promised. We worked together years ago, but they left an impression on my life and their presence will be missed.

They, like many others, are in the corners of our minds and in the background of our lives, but they have just as an important part to play in our stories as the main players. They are the Unsung Heroes and deserved to be honored.

This message is dedicated to the memories of my family and friends, my Unsung Heroes, R.I.P. to Brian Flanigan, Victor Ofokansi, Derek Williams and Marc Pierre, y’all are with me. Love y'all!

InMyMind: How can you have a happy new year, but not be a happy new you? If you want to start the year off right you have to start the year off with a new you! You’re the author and finisher of your story.

If you’re going to write your own story you might as well write yourself in as the winner and the hero of that story. With that said, I wanted to take a message from one of my favorite heroes, Bruce Lee, and Lee said, “be like water”. I gonna be fluid like water because I wanted my year to start with a flow.

That flow I’m talking about begins at the start of my day with investing with the most high. Then I’m going to invest in myself by take care of me first. Last but not least, I’m going to invest in others. I’m going to pour into them what I have left over after giving to God and myself, in that order.

Start your year off right and start your year off with me. I’m so glad you joined me, press play and let’s go! Enjoy! 🙏🏾💰👑🙌🏾

InMyMind: Season 1 Finale!!!! It started with Ep.1 now we're here Ep.30! From 1 play to 3,000 plays later and now we're here!!! This episode is the Season 1 wrap-up so it has some of my favorite snippets from previous shows along with a new and fresh cumulative perspective from 29 prior episodes.

I started this podcasting journey with Ep.1 and for two weeks I only had 1 play...and I am sure that 1 play was from me, but a podcast of over 3,000 plays begins with 1 play. After I launched the podcast, I didn't even promote it, I didn't promote it because I was scared.

What was I scared of? I was scared of being judged, and being mocked, and honestly I was just scared of being successful. That just goes to show you that even after I jumped out there...I still didn't believe in myself, I didn’t believe in me, which is not only dangerous it's deadly!

Once I started my podcasting journey by stating, "that life is about choice, chance and opportunity. You make the right choices to give your self a chance at the best opportunities," and with that said, once I made up my mind to do the podcast, my choices led to many chances and the chances I took created more opportunities.

The podcast literally took on a life of its own! People started reaching out to me just to tell me to, "keep going...", "I like what you're doing...", "you're inspiring the people...", "you've helped me in so many ways..." and the quotes go on and on and on...

My podcast was a spin off and started by me making a choice to be on the #truthmomentpodcast with "The Voice Behind the Truth" Ms. Mika Joi and once I got bitten by the podcasting bug, I created "In My Mind: Everybody Knows Chris" and then "The M.E.N. Show" and thus the universal ripple effect that led to these shows also led to other shows being created and to the creation of opportunities and now we're here!

Your gifts make room for you and puts you in the presence of greatness. The opportunities that were created are boundless and they were started with just one choice. That choice was to "Bet On Myself!" Now it ain't easy in fact it is hard, and like my old ball Coach Willie Richardson use to say, "it's hard, but it's fair," and it's fair because it's honest! And it's honest because I should be the only one paying for the choices I made. Once the choice was made I had to develop nerves of steel.

Needless to say that after I built up the nerve, that nerve led to momentum, the momentum developed into a following. Now I have people asking me when am I dropping the next episode and that really means the world to me because for the longest time I felt like I didn't have a voice, a message, I thought that I didn't have anything to say. Now people are tuning in to hear what I have to say and all I started doing was sharing what was In My Mind...what do you have to offer?

InMyMind: It is written and said in the B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth) that it's not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth that defiles a person. What came out of our mouths in this episode will make you think, laugh, eat plants and prosper. I was super excited to have my good friend, Whitney Miner, from @eatplantspropser on "The Cast" in this version of Bet On Yourself. Whitney and I are former co-workers that share similar stories on how we became vegetarian, well Whitney corrected me by saying her diet is "plant-based" and she's not really a vegetarian. Poor Nimo And Sebastian... This episode was fun for two reasons; for one Whitney has the energy and life-force of a 5-year old and for two she has this wisdom of an old-soul. We talked about everything from fitness to fibroids. We also discussed how Western medicine treats the symptoms not the cause of our modern bouts with illness. And how we need to link back to our Eastern cultural roots to treat the whole person and not just our runny noses. Needless to say it was a very dynamic conversation and of course I enjoyed the many, quips, quotes and stories that were shared. There is something in the podcast for everyone to enjoy. So stop playing and go on and press play, eat plants and prosper. #Message

InMyMind: There has been so much positive energy, words and vibes given to me since I published my last episode that I wanted to give it back with this bonus episode.

I love the fact that there is a village, a community, of family and friends that constantly pour into me and encourage me to keep going, even when there seems to be no reason to press on. Just keep going is all I hear.

Where am I going and why am I going? These are the questions that I have and, the funny thing is, the only way that I will find the answers to these questions is to continue pressing on. Pressing forward and pressing in faith.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the things you see in your mind, yet the evidence of these things unseen, the things have not materialized just yet. So why keep going you ask, well...you'll just have to keep going to find out...MESSSAAAGGGEEE!!!

InMyMind: I've been in such a melancholy mood lately and I don't know why. They say there is no rest for the weary and patience is a virtue but what do you do when you're tired of waiting? I am waiting or procrastinating.

Procrastination is the silent dream killer and if there is no struggle, there is no progress. Am I struggling because I'm procrastinating or because I am progressing? I am so confused.

One lesson that I will take from this episode is not all inspiration leads to motivation and not all motivation comes from inspiration. Some motivation comes from obligation.

Whether it is inspiration, motivation or obligation, either way I know what's ahead of me, my destiny so I better get me some shut eye now so I can shine later. #Message

InMyMind: When I talk, to myself, I listen! Lol! Riding around at 6am and I had no one to talk to so I decided to talk to myself to talk to y’all. I said to myself, I said self, what in the hell are we doing up at 6am in the morning, crack a dawn and morning yawning! Then I laughed.

On a serious note, to self, if we want different things we have to do things differently. That is it, that is the difference. There aren't any advance techniques.

We tell ourselves that if we learn these advance techniques, we think have the keys, but the key is having the basics down. Mastering the fundamentals. Once we have that part down, we are good to go to the next level!

The next level is determined on a simple equation I call the P.I.E. model. I learned this equation from Harvey Coleman who wrote "Empowering Yourself: The Organizational Game Revealed" and this model is broken into 3 parts P for performance, I for image, E for exposure and each part has the following percentages (10%, 30%, 60%) respectively.

We now know that mathematics is God's language since the numbers don't lie, but they don't tell the whole story either. #Message

InMyMind: A bonus episode just for my Anchor listeners...Inspiration abounds! Last night I was inspired by a post put up by my friend, @HeIsBlanchard aka FreeBlanch, and in the video post it showed pictures of beautiful black women while playing his song, Witchu', in the background.

Also on display in this post were paintings of art work from the art collection of The Art of Base @the_artofbase my best friend for over 30 years. Man this dude's hands are truly touched by God.

While I was looking at his post all I could think about was the fact that I have some AMAZING people in my life. People that inspire me and encourage me to push harder and go further. People that motivate me to create!

All this inspired me to produce a new segment for In My Mind: Everybody Knows Chris called "My Morning Commute/My Morning Commune (Tales From The BMW)" which stands for "Black Man's Wheels" in a "Black Man's World." Just sharing my thoughts and perspectives from a black male's point of view. I hope you enjoy it.

InMyMind: You too could be a winner at the game called LIFE and you're in the great game now, so if you're gonna play, play to win. What's the prize you ask?! Duh, more life! Ok then, what's the grand prize? Duh, life more abundantly!

Life is the highest pay-for-play game where the stakes are life and death. Life and death, the great divide, where both are represented in the physical, the mental and the spiritual realms. We exist in the constant duality of both and we must learn to deal with both of them to win the great game.

Nall, this ain't the Hunger Games, but these games will have you hungry if you're not playing to win. Now you're either going to be hungry for more or just plain hungry, broke and destitute out on in the cold, I hope you have a lil' sweater.

Podfather!!! This is some heavy stuff! I know, let not your heart be troubled, like I said earlier, you too could be a winner at the game of life. But you can only win if you play to win, but make no mistake you will play and pay.

Now there are three ways you are going to pay-to-play the great game. You are going to either pay attention, pay homage or pay the toll, but you are going to pay. So if you are going to pay to play, play big and pay big because they both will get you PAID and everything else is DEATH!

InMyMind: What does the moniker "Church People" mean? What is a church person? Is it a title referring to God's people, the chosen few, or is it a title given in gest to depict someone who is pious or "holier than thou"? Well we have a special guest in the house to answer those questions.

In this episode of "Bet On Yourself" we have JT "The Motiv8tor" discussing his workouts and his work out here in these streets delivering the good news not only in word but also in deed.

I've known JT for over 13 years now and actually found out much more about him than I actually knew of him. I guess now I know...lol! You can check JT out on IG at @jtthemotiv8tor and follow him and the great work that he is out here doing, for the people.

InMyMind: What is understood doesn't need to be explained. We waste a lot of time entertaining those that don't give us a second thought. As for those who are with us we don't need to spend any extra time, energy or effort trying to convince them of anything...they get it! They're all in!

Going back to what my grandmother told me years ago, "follow your first #mind," i.e., follow the vibe and that was some of the best advice ever. I don't really spend much time going back and forth with people anymore about anything. If I'm not feeling it, I don't do it and I have peace of mind because of this.

It ain't easy going through life based on following your initial thought but often times we get jammed up by overthinking, but following your first mind puts a stop to that. Besides, you get real life experience, which is always the best teacher. And like school, those teachers are led by universal principles...get it?! Lol. Anyway pay attention now and follow your first mind so you don't have to pay the cost later. #Message!

InMyMind: Man one hard lesson I had to learn, in life, was to listen to the "little" voice in my head, because it always made a big difference. The difference was usually tied to the amount of pain and suffering that I was going to experience if I didn't adhere to what it was saying.

My grandmother always told me to' "follow my first mind" and my granddad always said, "obedience was better than sacrifice" neither one of them never told no lies...

Now, since I am out here on my own in the wild amongst the thorns and thistles nibbling on locust and wild honey, I might as well tune in to what's goin' on in my mind....and pay attention to those voices because I am sure they have something to say. Message!

InMyMind: If you knew better, you'd do better...right! Well didn't cha know that?! Life is easy but we constantly make it hard. We make it hard by fighting against our better judgement and that better judgment comes from knowing who we truly are.

One of my favorite people left us too soon, my cousin Corey was truly one-of-a-kind. He was always himself and comfortable being just that. And he never gave any apologizes about it either. It took my some time to learn this about myself, but once I learned this, I stopped trying to make people feel comfortable about me being me. Hell...they'll figure it out and decide how to handle it and, if not, oh well. They'll be okay and so will you but you got to do you.

So today, I implore you to do the same, find out who you truly are and be honest because in the end is death. And the life you lived is going to preach your funeral. The people you knew, the lives you touched and the work you've done are going to speak for you...since you can no longer speak for yourself...MESSAGE!

InMyMind: Even though the album has dropped, Blanchard said he's, "Still Weightin'", and I said, " nall my brotha the weight is over!" I know this podcast is 1 hour and 40 mins long, but it is more than a podcast, it is a movie! A movie shot with words, and Still Weigthin' is the soundtrack. This podcast is special because I was there from the album's conception until it's fruition. It was made with pure creative genius through the lyrical mastery of puns and pomp to paint a visual picture with words to describe what goes on "In The Mind" of He Is Blanchard. This album doesn't need my support because as a work of art it will stand on its own, but as a patron of good music, I do support this album because it is good. And yes, I also support it because it was created by my good friend He Is Blanchard. Tune in to hear what @HeIsBlanchard has to say about the creative process and influences that contributed to his latest album, Still Weigthin', and where he feels his music will take him. InMyMind: We all remember that one scene from that one movie where we "see" the hero is getting their ass kicked, but we "know" they are going to survive. We don't think anything else is going to happen! Ands we went from paying $0.99 at the Dollar Theater to paying $25.00 to see this same story in IMAX theaters. And we still go! Why is that? I'll tell you why, it is because deep down inside we want to be that hero. We long to be that hero. In fact, we pretend to be that hero, but is it pretend?

There is something deep in our core being that identifies with these tales of adventure and discovery, the epic battle between good and evil, light and dark, right and wrong. And you want to know what that is? It is our internal turmoil. That eternal conflict brewing inside us every time someone cuts us off in traffic. Every we see someone "doing wrong" and we have to fight the urge to "make it right". Yeah what happened to that?

Before you pick up your quest, I have a question for you. Is it in you? Is it in you to "do the right thing" when no one is watching? Is it in you, to pick up that wallet and return it with all the money and cards inside? The answer is yes, yes of course it is in you. The real question is, when the call comes, will you answer?

InMyMind: Everybody loves a winner...right? So, why are there so many losers in life? We have all enjoyed a solid victory and walked away with "the win" and we've all experienced agonizing defeat and lost, so what actually defines a win and a loss? Well that answer is simple...YOU DO! You determine if the win was worth it and you determine what the benefits, lessons learned and opportunities that will come from the loss are as well. You see, you too can be a winner in the game of life, but you can't win unless you play!

InMyMind: We struggle in life because we are not using the one resource that are directly tied to being fulfilled. We are not using our gifts, or talents our natural abilities that we have. Usually using these things bring about a certain sense of accomplishment and purpose. Not using our gifts or using them inappropriately bring about a feelings of discontent and disconnection.

I realized once I was in a position to use my gifts not only did they make room for me, in fact, they did put in front of people that needed these gifts. People actually wanted to hear what I thought and what I had to say. Your gifts lead you to your passions, your passions lead you to your purpose and your purpose lead you to your peace .

Something else I realized too, life was no longer about relief, it was now about joy!

InMyMind - Perspective: a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view. To me, simply put it means that, when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change! In episode 13 I discuss the discovery of being an optimist, you know a "glass half full" kinda guy. Humbled by the fact that I have another chance to "get it right" and to "do better". If you're reading this message that means that you have the same opportunities too. I speak in quip, quote and rhyme and I am also very fluent in emoji as well. One of my favorite quotes is an African proverb that says, "if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." And in this episode I tell the story about how I was inspired to "bet on myself" by one of my good friends, Julien Rickard aka "Guru Ju". So please tune in as I am sure he will be "Dropping Jules" on this episode of #everybodyknowschris

"Guru" and I met many years ago in Miami as two young men that were passionate about cars, comics and kicks. To watch this wise young sage develop his skill as a business owner definitely inspired me. So much so, that he was the one that told me to, "bet on myself" and I did!

In My Mind: No man can reap where or what he has not sown. If you have a need, plant a seed. A simple rule to life, but it is often an overlooked one. A major reason we don't have what we need in life is because we didn't plant any seeds or we did not give what we were suppose to give. As I continue to grow and evolve, I meditate to clear my mind's daily cache of thoughts, actions and words that I had from the day prior. This is what came to me this morning. As I share these thoughts and words with you, hopefully they will add value to your day as they have served me throughout mine. #growth #joy #pain #sunshine #rain #inmymind #everybodyknowchris #hhm

In My Mind: This is a prerecorded episode from another podcast "The #truthmoment Podcast with host Mika Joi." Ms. Joi asked me to join her podcast segment titled "Boys to Men" to discuss my journey from my childhood in Sanford, FL to manhood in Atlanta, GA. I was ready to discuss this, but what I wasn't ready for is what happened next. I did not expect to get bitten by the podcast bug and have that much fun. It's been a while since I enjoyed myself that much and in doing so I decided to launch my own podcast channel In My Mind...and the love, support and encouragement since has been phenomenal. The rest as they say is history.

In My Mind: I talk to myself and I take notes. In this segment "Note to Self" I am sharing those notes. Just sharing some things that popped in my head this morning! Being a better you today than you were yesterday produces results. Trying to be better than other people only produces jealousy. So stop trying to be better than other people and be a better you...today! Remember a rising tide lifts all boats and by being the best you benefits everyone. You being better than others only benefits you. Aight my good #poddypeople don’t be bitter be better and don’t be safe be great! #inmymind #kingdombuilding #legacyleavers #dreamchasers #goalachievers🙏🏾💰👑🙌🏾...🌊🛳⛴🚢
