2436 - The Bearded Bible Brothers revisit some of the best interviews from “Josiah and the Last Reformation,” with never-before-seen segments from Olivier Melnick, Denise Mountenay, Dr. Hormoz Shariat, and Rabbi Jonathan Cahn. This definitive epilogue solidifies the need for repentance, and the glorious revival that awaits those who humble themselves before God.
2435 - From Tel Megiddo, the Bearded Bible Brothers uncover Josiah’s greatest mistake which lead to his own demise. How easy is it for Believers to rise up in pride and legalism today? Although God held back the coming of antichrist Nebuchadnezzar and the Neo-Babylonian Empire, will He restrain the coming of Babylon the Great and the Beast in our day? Joshua and Caleb give a final call for Israel and America to repent, as they stand before the Knesset in Jerusalem.
2434 - Even as Jeremiah prophesies judgment against Judah, King Josiah feverishly labors to atone for the sins of all twelve tribes of Israel. From the ancient Tomb of the Prophets, to the high place of Bethel, Joshua and Caleb reveal the shocking prophecy that would change Josiah’s life forever!
2433 - Josiah accelerates into reformation overdrive! Now, with the law as his guide, the young king enacts the most extreme religious reforms, leading the nation into a great awakening. How can Believers today act with the same zeal as Josiah? Is it too late for the Church to stand up and change the course of the world?
2432 - The pinnacle moment that shook the nation! In the midst of reforms, the last Torah scroll is discovered, and the words written therein change everything. The Bearded Bible Brothers travel from the top of the Temple Mount, to the depths of the Western Wall tunnels revealing Josiah’s ultimate decision of humility that moves God’s heart.
2431 - From the Western Wall to the ruins of Tel Dan, Joshua and Caleb explore the bar mitzvah tradition and Josiah’s emergence of authority in the kingdom. Without the law as a guidebook, King Josiah begins transforming the country within his scope of knowledge. The brothers’ teaching concludes with a shocking disruption as they experience the horrors of October 7th, the morning of Hamas’ attack.
2430 - Early in Josiah’s reign, several prophets— Zephaniah, Habakkuk, and eventually Jeremiah—forewarned the coming destruction of Babylon. In the aftermath of the October 7 attack by Hamas, the Bearded Bible Brothers roam the desolate streets of Jerusalem explaining the children of Israel’s historic cycles of disobedience, persecution, deliverance, and finally reformation.
2429 - From the Ophel ruins in Jerusalem, Joshua and Caleb shed light on the early years of King Josiah’s reign. In analyzing the influence of familial upbringing on Josiah’s heart, the brothers uncover a shocking link between Josiah’s penitence and the influence of his reforming grandfather. Even today, the enemy attempts to indoctrinate our young children in an effort to maintain hold over their minds into adulthood. The brothers discuss how parents can protect their children in an age of wickedness and perversion.
2428 - Behold, the man God Himself rated as the most nefarious king in the history of Judah—Manasseh, Josiah’s grandfather! But Manasseh was emulating the sin precedent established by King Solomon hundreds of years prior. The Bearded Bible Brothers travel to the ancient high places of idolatry in Jerusalem to tell the story of rebellion, which placed Judah on the crossroads to coming judgment.
2427 - From the studio, David and Kirsten Hart ask the Bearded Bible Brothers questions from viewers that have come into our ministry. Plus, we get a sneak peak at our upcoming series, “Josiah and the Last Reformation.”
2426 - The Bearded Bible Brothers talk to a survivor of the October 7th attack on the Nova Music Festival in Re’im Israel, Amit Musaaei, who tells how he narrowly escaped the massacre.
2425 - Joshua and Caleb look back at their Social Media teachings as the Bearded Bible Brothers to reveal the eternal hope for followers of Yeshua. We are to be motivated to live our lives in anticipation for the glorious future to come.
2424 - Joshua and Caleb dig into the scriptures to discover evidence of spiritual revival in the prophetic future. As we see the world around us growing darker, the Bearded Bible Brothers bring encouragement to believers in Yeshua.
2423 - Yeshua came as our sacrificial lamb, but He will be returning on the clouds of glory. Join the Bearded Bible Brothers as they bring teachings Social Media to the Our Jewish Roots television audience.
2422 - Joshua and Caleb look back at their Social Media teachings as the Bearded Bible Brothers. One issue seems to be very divisive among followers of Jesus today – the catching up or rapture of the church. The Brothers dive into the scriptures for answers.
2421 - The director of the American Jewish Congress, Avital Leibovich provided us her political and military expertise on the geopolitical strategy and activities affecting Israel and the entire Middle East.
2420 - The tension between Israel and Iran continues to escalate. On our recent trip to Israel, we interviewed Sima Shine, the head of the Iran program at the Institute for National Security Studies, to get gives her perspective on the dangerous situation.
2419 - During our most recent trip to Israel, Joshua and Caleb were able to speak with Chaim Malespin immediately before he returned to the conflict with Gaza, as well as two young IDF soldiers.
2418 - During our most recent trip to Israel, Joshua and Caleb were able to hear from Colonel David Hacham, a veteran of the Oslo Peace accords for his expertise on the military situation with Gaza and Hamas.
2417 - During our most recent trip to Israel, Joshua and Caleb were able to interview Dr. Mordechai Kedar, a religious Zionist and an expert on Arab culture, to get his insights on the situation in Israel especially in regards to Iran.
2338 - God established the sacrificial system as a means to atone for sin, requiring the shedding of animal blood. The sacrificial practices in the Temple served as a foreshadowing of Jesus’ ultimate substitutionary atonement. Future Temple sacrifices during Jesus’ rule will serve as symbolic reminders rather than serving a direct atoning purpose.
2335 - Scripture prophesies a future time when the nation of Israel will experience a spiritual revival and fully embrace the worship of the God of Israel as outlined in the Law of Moses. This revival will entail the reinstatement of the sacrificial system, including its practice in a new Temple..
2334 - The books of the Law provide meticulous instructions for worship within the Tabernacle and later the Temple. In Jesus’ time, the sanctity of the Temple was violated by the presence of money changers. Prophetic insights also indicate a future time when the sacredness of a subsequent Temple will be similarly desecrated.
2332 - Garden of Eden, humanity’s sin led to expulsion. God planned restoration. Israel is blessed but fell to sin and exiled. Now, God gathers them again—a Jewish return, ultimate restoration with a new heart and spiritual awakening.
2416 - Again using the Fort Worth Stockyards as a backdrop, Joshua and Caleb look at the use of sheep in the Bible. The most famous of all, the Scapegoat, has a connection with the Day of Atonement.
2415 - Using the Fort Worth Stockyards as a backdrop, Joshua and Caleb compare a method using a goat to move sheep through a slaughterhouse to things that could lead unsuspecting believers astray.
2414 - Bible readers seek the list of “Thou shalt” and “Thou shalt not” are long. Joshua and Caleb’s past teachings as the Bearded Bible Brothers contrasts the works we are called to do and how that relates to the Lord’s love for us.
2413 - Joshua and Caleb look back at their most popular teachings as the Bearded Bible Brothers to explain the Messiah’s parables relating to reaching out to His physical kinsmen, the Jewish people.
2412 - During the ten-episode Roadmap to Armageddon series, we have briefly heard from prophecy experts and Bible scholars. On this program, we bring you additional information that will help you better understand not only what is happening in our world today but also what lies ahead.
2411 - Joshua and Caleb — the Bearded Bible Brothers — teach the apocalyptic prophecy from Daniel chapter 11. A World War II aircraft carrier serves as the backdrop for their teaching.
2410 - What is the conclusion of the Battle of Armageddon? What part do we, the Bride of Christ, play in this war? Joshua and Caleb travel to Jerusalem to look at the aftermath and judgment that follow humanity’s rebellion against Yeshua. The long-awaited blessed hope for all people has arrived as Messiah begins His Millennial reign on Earth.
2409 - What are the trigger points that lead to the War of Armageddon? Who are the key players in the battle? Joshua and Caleb travel to Tel Megiddo to consider the greatest conflict to come when Three Kings rebel against the Beast. But when things look like they can’t get worse and all hope is lost for the Jewish People, the clouds of Heaven open, and the King of kings arrives!
2408 - In this solemn episode, Joshua and Caleb recall the history of persecution against the Jewish people, and how the time of Jacob’s Trouble ups the ante. The last three-and-a-half years of the Tribulation will be the most destructive period in all of time, as God pours out His wrath on the wicked while Satan unleashes his hate against Israel.
2407 - The Abomination of Desolation is a pinnacle moment in Scripture — that’s the horrific event that begins the Great Tribulation (the second half of the Tribulation). Joshua and Caleb ascend the Temple Mount to connect the prophetic puzzle pieces of the Beast’s death and resurrection through Satan’s indwelling. We look at God’s rescue plan for the Jewish people during the invasion of Jerusalem.
2406 - On the next stop on the roadmap, Joshua and Caleb dissect the Beast’s grand peace treaty that begins the Tribulation and the construction of the Third Temple. How will the revived Mosaic worship differ from the one world religion? The brothers travel to Jerusalem to discover when all these events will unfold on the prophetic timetable.
2405 - What is the nature of the Beast’s kingdom? Where is its headquarters? What is its connection to the False Prophet? Joshua and Caleb search for the remnants of King Herod’s lost temple to Caesar Augustus. The brothers also travel to Caesarea to reveal the identity of the future Babylon the Great and its perverse center of worship.
2329 - Because of deception, Joshua’s integrity is severely tested when he faces the decision to either break his vow or keep it under false pretenses with negative long-term consequences. We, too, face deceivers determined to trick us, and we need to pray to the Lord for discernment.
2328 - Disobedience after the victory at Jericho leads to Israel losing the second battle in conquering Canaan. In spite of failure and disappointment, Joshua shows leadership by following God’s instructions to learn from the past and focus on the future that God has planned for Israel.
2327 - The first battle for the land of Canaan occurs at a fortified city. Joshua proves his faith by following God’s instructions for attacking Jericho. The Lord miraculously brings down the walls, and all the Israelites join the battle.
2326 - Joshua succeeds Moses as leader of the Israelites as they prepare to cross the Jordan River to battle for the Promised Land. God demonstrates that He will be with Joshua just as He was with Moses.
2325 - Twelve men are sent to investigate Canaan. Only Joshua and Caleb return with hopeful accounts while the other ten report negatively.
2324 - We meet Joshua waiting with other recently freed Hebrew slaves at the foot of Mount Sinai for Moses to descend with God’s laws. Joshua’s years of leadership training begin as he apprentices with Moses.
2323 - In this program, we take a retrospective look at over 40 years of television ministry. What began with our founder, Zola Levitt, did not stop when he was called home in 2006. The ministry’s mission continues to this day, albeit with different faces. It is time to see the messengers who will not only continue the mission but take us into the future.
2322 - Many of our viewers are connected to our Social Media outlets (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc) and are already familiar with the Bearded Bible Brothers. In this program, David and Kirsten Hart interview Joshua and Caleb who have been on Social Media for over four years now. Get to know the hearts of these young men and see what you have been missing.
2321 - The biblical imperative to take care of widows when life runs its course is noted in the story of Elijah and the widow. She kept on giving, even into old age, and as a result, God showed Himself ever-faithful to her. Though some women fall upon hard times, others fall upon good times. As seen in this brief treatment of the life of Esther, the biblical mandate to help the weak is accompanied by a mandate for the strong to use their influence for noble purposes.
2320 - As demonstrated by Delilah’s story, using womanly charms to entice males and then betray them is categorically condemned in the Hebrew Bible. Women’s positive imprints upon their male (and female) children are noted in this segment on educators. It is often said, “Behind every good man is a good mother!”
2319 - A study of Abigail demonstrates that women are designed to be more than lovers and mothers to bear and care for children. Women have significant intuitive capabilities that contribute beyond the bedroom and nursery toward mankind’s success. The Hebrew Bible illustrates the idealized woman as an entrepreneur, an enterprising businesswoman who ably manages household affairs for herself and her family.
2318 - The series opens like Adam’s eyes: taking a quick peak at Eve. It was an age of discovery, and here we discover God’s Divine design for this marvelous creature. That lovers become mothers is the natural course. We consider base maternal instincts by regarding one of the Old Testament’s greatest mothers: Hannah.
2317 - Extended interviews with individuals appearing in this series but also bonus interviews with believers who live Israel.
2316 - Life’s circumstances can bring us to our knees in desperation. Our ultimate assurance comes from our Father, who loves us and desires to help us. Jeff teaches us from the Pool of Siloam and the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem.
2315 - Jeff defines a miracle as the suspension of the laws of nature. Whether it be changing water to wine or transforming the damaged limbs of a paralyzed man into healthy limbs, the Lord moves in mysterious ways both yesterday and today. (Luke 24:16)
2314 - Not all miracles are spectacular. Many tend to be very practical — from the feeding of a large, hungry crowd to finding a coin in the mouth of a fish. The Lord is our benevolent Father who wants to give wonderful gifts to His children.
2313 - Perhaps the most magnificent of all the miracles in the Bible was the birth of the Messiah, the prophesied, yet unexpected Child, the Prince of Peace. Jeff teaches us from Manger Square, Shepherd’s Field, and the Shepherd’s cave near Bethlehem.
2312 - God changes circumstances to accomplish His will. For those living in ancient Judea, it was His will to allow the Babylonian captivity. As Jeff teaches us from a busy street in Jerusalem, the God of Israel has brought His people home, just as He promised.
2311 - Some troubles are matters of life and death. Elijah resurrected the widow’s son. Jesus resurrected His friend Lazarus. From Lazarus’ Tomb to Bethany Church, Dr. Jeff Seif teaches of the Lord’s power over life and death, both physical and spiritual.
2310 - On this program, we see the Lord as our Deliverer in both the Old and New Testaments. From the Judean wilderness and Nehemiah’s wall in the City of David, Dr. Seif illustrates how God is interested in building and rebuilding lives. The Lord can deliver you from whatever you are going through.
2309 - The account of creation in Genesis reveals the Spirit of God hovering over the waters. This same Holy Spirit hovered over human beings at Pentecost, saving 3,000, and now indwells believers today. Dr. Seif comes to us from the Western Wall and the Southern Steps in Jerusalem.
2108 - God works despite evildoers, not through them. Deception of self and others gives way to truth at Day’s End. Jesus advises us to build our hope for salvation on the right foundation: Him. Jeff reviews the entire “Sermon on the Mount.”
2107 - Jesus addresses tenacity and God’s benevolence in the Christian’s life, the “narrow path” we must walk, and how our “fruits” testify on our behalf. And He warns of those whose lifestyles and teachings stand as an indictment against them.
2106 - Jesus challenges followers to serve either God or possessions. Blessings abound to those who serve Him. Being forgiven, we must not rush to judge others.
2105 - Fasting pays dividends; laying up treasures on Earth alone does not. Generosity brings moral health.
2104 - Yeshua teaches how to deal with enemies and emphasizes doing good to please God rather than men, and how to pray.
2103 - Yeshua speaks of human bonds like divorce and marriage, and explains how to be gracious even toward the ungracious.
2102 - We contemplate how Jesus/Yeshua fulfills the Torah, murder begins in the heart, and adultery begins with desire.
2101 - We consider the “Beatitudes” and Jesus/Yeshua’s exhortation that Believers be “salt” and “light.”
2308 - Ezekiel prophesied a restored Earth and a new Jerusalem Temple from which miraculous healing waters will spring forth. Ultimately, God’s ways are known on planet Earth. (Ezekiel 47)
2307 - The nations surrounding Israel are bent on its destruction. Thousands of years ago, Ezekiel foretold an end-times war, but also predicted a miraculous Israelite triumph. (Ezekiel 38)
2306 - Israel’s re-emergence as a nation is dramatized through a startling vision of skeletons rising from their graves, forming a mighty nation. Independence Hall in Tel Aviv serves as the backdrop to a remarkable prophecy fulfilled in our generation. (Ezekiel 37)
2305 - Israel will rally against its hostile neighbors; this part highlights Ezekiel’s predictions that larger regional forces will mobilize against Israel in a climactic war that they will lose. (Ezekiel 25, 28, and 29)
2304 - A major piece in God’s prophetic, end-times puzzle consists of subsequent predictions of Israel’s last-days rise. A once-desolate land has become like Eden. (Ezekiel 36)
2303 - Dr. Jeffrey Seif examines particular pieces of prophecy, noting Judah’s painful downfall, and God’s everlasting mercy through His promise to gather and rebuild Israel—something that is happening today. (Ezekiel 3 and 16)
2302 - A survey of the entire book of Ezekiel—judgment on Judah and the nations around it, Israel’s re-emergence, a climactic war, and a restored Temple—with emphasis on prophecy fulfillment today. (Ezekiel 33, 34, and 36)
2301 - Ezekiel’s name means “God strengthens.” Reared as a priest in Jerusalem, Ezekiel finds himself among the exiles who are relocated to Babylon. His encounter with God in a Heavenly vision launches his prophetic message to a wayward people.
2294 - David, Kirsten, and Jeff preview some of the teaching series plannedfor next year including 1) Ezekiel, 2) Miracles (working title), 3) Sar Shalom: Prince of Peace, 4) Faith for the Future, and 5) She Shall Be Called Woman.
2293 - David and Kirsten Hart join Dr. Jeffrey Seif in reviewing the teachingseries presented during this past year. These include 1) The Warrior King 2) Kings and Kingdoms, 3) Jeremiah: Hope Over the Horizon, 4) Faith of Our Fathers, and 5) Much Like Peter.
2226 - During this series, viewers have briefly heard from four Israelis who, like Peter, are followers of Yeshua. In this program, we learn more from our interviews with 1) Chaim Malespin, director of the Aliyah Return Center; 2) Daniel Carmel, captain of the “Jesus” boat on the Sea of Galilee; 3) Carolyn Hyde, who with her husband moved to Israel; and 4) Yuval Shlomovitch, the Israeli actor who portrays Peter in the series.
2225 - Limited understanding prevented the Apostles from sharing the Gospel globally, as the Lord intended. Yet Peter received a divine vision that prompted him to share the Gospel with gentiles.
2224 - Surprisingly, the disciple who denied knowing Jesus later preached the Gospel and 3,000 people were saved. Before being known as Pentecost, the feast was called Shavuot, the Jewish holy day.
2223 - After the resurrected Savior met Peter and other disciples at the Sea of Galilee, they experienced revival. The miraculous catch of fish foreshadowed the Great Commission’s bountiful harvest. As Jesus did with Peter, He offers grace and forgiveness to all who follow Him.
2222 - After Judas betrayed the Messiah, Peter initially responded with violence, but later with denial. Like Peter, today’s Believers often experience a disconnect between our words and actions. Yet even in difficult circumstances, God’s grace is sufficient.
2221 - Standing with Jesus at the Transfiguration were Moses and Elijah, representing the Law and the Prophets. Peter, wanting to contribute, responded impulsively. Like us, Peter needed to pay attention and listen to the Lord’s words.
2220 - Caesarea Philippi, a center of pagan worship, was a remarkable place for Jesus to reveal His Messiahship. Though darkness and brokenness may surround us, the Gospel message continues to advance, and even the forces of hell will not prevail against it.
2219 - During a storm, Peter was the only disciple to step out of the boat and walk on the water to Jesus. Faith prompts Believers to do daring things. And even when we fail, Jesus is there to help us continue following Him.
2218 - From Bethsaida, by the beautiful Sea of Galilee, Dr. Jeffrey Seif recalls Yeshua/Jesus calling the disciples to follow Him. Peter, one of the Twelve, received a new mission and a new name.
2117 - Narratives about men and women of faith pervade the Holy Scriptures. The overwhelming majority Founding Fathers believed in the God of Israel in the Bible. Their deeds and writings testify to how they put their faith into action.
2116 - Actively living out faith can be counter cultural and sometimes requires boldness. The Bible chronicles Peter’s actions, like his attempt to walk on the water. Benjamin Franklin modernized the Lord’s Prayer for his personal use, promoted church attendance, and called the members of the Constitutional Convention to prayer.
2115 - Risk of loss often accompanies a faithful life, as exemplified by the Bible’s Esther and Mordecai. In forging America, people of faith petitioned Heaven during dangerous times. New Englander John Adams helped gather representatives of the thirteen colonies around a set of principles that would become the Declaration of Independence.
2114 - Bible heroes like Ruth and David were not perfect. Rather, they succeeded by placing their hope and trust in God. Firsthand accounts and original source documents portray George Washington as a man of faith who experienced divine guidance and protection on multiple occasions.
2113 - Biblical accounts of Israel becoming a nation in the Promised Land inspired America’s Founding Fathers in creating a new nation. They believed that the Bible was the Word of God and the ultimate source for establishing faith and righteousness.
2112 - Even though someone’s faith may be small, it can grow into something spectacular. Columbus, whose name Christopher means “Christ bearer,” heard the Holy Spirit speak and encourage his four voyages to the New World. Historical records reveal his devotion and desire to serve the Lord.
2111 - Times of testing prove that neither personal ambition nor comfort is a goal for a life of faith. Our examples are Noah, the ark builder, and Zerubbabel, rebuilder of the Temple. The Mayflower brought pilgrims like William Bradford who sought their own “promised land” in the New World. Despite challenging circumstances, they based their colony on a Biblical lifestyle.
2110 - The Lord called many people in the Bible (like Abram, Noah, and David) to move toward a future that could not be seen. Trusting in the Word of God became the cornerstone for the creation of the Hebrew people and was valued by many of those who created a nation in the New World.
2292 - Besides seeking suitable candidates for a red heifer without defect, other preparations are taking place for the next Temple in Jerusalem. These include gathering ingredients for the incense offerings, training for the priestly duties, and creating articles to be used in ceremonial worship.
2291 - Rabbis from the Temple Institute in Jerusalem came to a ranch near Rockwall, Texas in search of a red heifer without defect. If found and able to maintain it’s “kosher status”, this could be the first red heifer in over 2000 years and could begin the process of building the third Temple.
2217 - This final program in our series features an interview with author and radio host Dr. Michael Brown. From the studio, Dr. Seif discusses the applications and takeaways from the life and writings of Jeremiah with David and Kirsten Hart.
2216 - Jeremiah records God’s promise to deliver them out of captivity after 70 years. Later, the Lord will cause a branch to come of out David that will bring justice and righteousness to the Earth. All people in Messiah are grafted into this tree.
2215 - Speaking the truth can bring trouble from those who don’t want to hear it. Jeremiah experienced persecution, yet he loved the people, and his heart broke to see sin’s devastating effects. The same God who brought ruin would also bring renewal, through Yeshua the Messiah.
2214 - Brighter days were coming when Judah’s iniquity would be forgiven. God would save His people from captivity and return them to the Promised Land. He promised to write His Law on their hearts and remember their sins no more.
2213 - Jeremiah relentlessly proclaimed God’s message. The Babylonians were coming to destroy Judah and deport its citizens. They relied on political alliances for their security. The Lord, however, had withdrawn His protection, so catastrophe was inevitable.
2212 - Jeremiah’s message to repent went unheeded. Consequently, judgment came to those who had abandoned the Lord. Jeremiah took comfort in knowing that following destruction, restoration would come through the New Covenant.
2211 - Lies and greed corrupted Judah’s leaders, much to Jeremiah’s dismay. He wept when they believed false promises of peace and rejected God’s justice, righteousness, and truth.
2210 - Idolatry was rampant, so the God of Israel promised destruction for the people of Judah who were living in sin. Jeremiah sounded the alarm, but no one listened. Likewise, many of those living around us today refuse to admit their sin or turn to the Lord.
2209 - The Babylonian war machine was coming to Judah. The Lord chose a young Jeremiah to be His prophet and to deliver the call to return to the ways and values specified in God’s Word. Their culture, like ours, veered off the path and was about to reap the consequences.
2024 - Under the Mount of Olives, Jeff visits the tombs of the prophets Zechariah, Malachi, and Haggai. The prophet Isaiah looked to a reunited Israel’s ultimate King, who is called “Mighty God” and “Prince of Peace.” This is the Lord Yeshua, who will return to rule and reign from David’s throne.
2023 - King Josiah rediscovered God’s Word and took it seriously. Oh, that our leaders would do the same! Poor leadership leads to bad consequences. Josiah’s son Zedekiah rebelled against the Lord, paving Judah’s road to ruin.
2022 - Good King Hezekiah did not depart from following God and His commandments. Faithfulness pays dividends! Unfortunately, Hezekiah’s son Manasseh brought Judah horror and bloodshed for the five decades of his rule.
2021 - Young leaders need wisdom and guidance from advisers who are tethered to God’s Word. As time went by, King Joash’s zeal for the Lord faded as he became prideful. King Uzziah was a young man when he ascended the throne, but he became so obsessed with power, the Lord smote him with leprosy.
2020 - Even though King Jeroboam II was evil, he was praised for securing Israel’s border. Leaders should be trustworthy, not bloodthirsty. Israel’s King Hoshea reaped what he sowed and, unfortunately, so did Israel at the hands of the Assyrians.
2019 - Illustrating how bad people can come to power in misguided ways, Omri seized the throne of Israel by mutiny. Deterioration continued when his heir Ahab (the worst king ever) not only turned away from God but actively opposed Him.
2018 - Solomon, the wisest man, made foolish mistakes by letting in outside influences and allowing his heart to drift away from the Lord. His son Rehoboam drifted much farther. His oppressive policies caused Jeroboam to lead 10 of the 12 tribes in rebellion, creating the northern Kingdom of Israel. The two tribes that remained — Judah and Benjamin — formed the southern Kingdom of Judah.
2017 - On the Mount of Olives, Dr. Seif discusses the reason and roles of the first two kings of Israel — Saul and David — as well as the expectations placed on them. Those in leadership — in fact, all Believers — face a constant temptation to drift away from Biblical values.
2208 - In the end, David marveled at the Lord’s call on his life and the coming of one of his descendants as the Messiah. You’ll walk away saying “He lives!” and, we hope, believing that He lives in you.
2207 - David’s gift for creating poetry and music shows that he was “in touch” with something beyond the state of his armies. Viewers will benefit from this program’s window into the softer side of the prolific songwriter.
2206 - From the Shrine of the Book museum in Jerusalem, Dr. Seif teaches from the writings of the prophet Isaiah. We examine how the Old Testament predicted a coming Davidic Son, which leads to the New Testament revealing the “Son of David”.
2205 - Though anointed by God for kingship, David spent 13 years running from Israel’s first king before ascending to the throne himself. As we hear the story of David’s patient rise to power, we see him give glory and credit to the Lord.
2204 - David was a warrior in the physical sense, but also a spiritual role model for us all! His wars against the Philistines, Amalekites, and Ammonites are discussed, along with modern-day applications and how we can go on to ultimate victory.
2203 - The Bible tells of the good, the bad, and the ugly. In this program we examine how David interacted with Abigail and Bathsheba. Yet God showed His grace and faithfulness to him anyway.
2202 - Unfair trials often checker the road to success. We explore David’s abuse at the hands of King Saul, and his bond with the king’s son Jonathan. We evaluate Saul’s death and David’s gracious response.
2201 - We consider how David captured the heart of Israel, his selection by Samuel, and the amazing battle with Goliath that catapulted him to renown.
2016 - Paul asked Timothy to stay in Ephesus to build up the leadership in that church. In his letter to Titus, Paul sought to bring stability to the congregations Titus shepherded in Crete. Paul’s second letter to Timothy was his last. In it, he encouraged Believers to be strong and finish well.
2015 - Paul wrote many letters from his Roman prison cell. To the Colossians, he wrote of reconciliation. To the Ephesians, how God had built a new house for all Believers. The Philippians received a friendly thank you for their help and encouragement for their growth.
2014 - At the ruins of Corinth, Jeff reviews Paul’s letter to shore up the struggling church that he started there. His second letter included encouragement to support Corinth’s Jewish Believers. Paul’s letter to the church in Rome addressed its division between Jewish and gentile Believers.
2013 - In Ephesus, Jeff looks at the first New Testament book written by Paul — to the Galatians in defense of including non-Jewish believers. Paul writes a loving letter from Athens to the suffering church in Thessalonica.
2012 - Paul’s legal troubles land him in stormy waters where he is shipwrecked at Malta. His appeal leads to a prison cell in Rome, but it cannot contain Paul’s desire to share the Gospel during the final years of his life.
2011 - Paul returns to Asia Minor and goes on to Athens, where he preaches his famous Mars Hill sermon. On his third missionary journey, Paul goes to riotous Ephesus and then back to Jerusalem where trouble finds him.
