Points: - Our society is easily offended and nearly impossibly reconciled. - If you want the kingdom of God on earth, then you must forgive. - Forgiven people should be forgiving people.

Points: - It's not what you say, it's what you do. - It's not how you start, it's how you finish.

Part 9 of our series on 1 Peter. Message from Pastor Jason Hayes on August 13, 2017.
Points: - Pride moves us into opposition with God. - Pride is thinking more often and more highly about ourselves than we should. - Pride is wanting others to admire us more than we deserve. - The antidotes to pride are service and submission. - Humility is more than giving others credit. It’s giving others your life. - Humility is more than admitting you're wrong. It’s admitting you're needy.
Part 8 of our series on 1 Peter. Message from Pastor Jason Hayes on July 30, 2017.
Points: - If Jesus is inviting us into his kingdom, then we need to live on His terms. - Sin is broader than we acknowledge and its impact is further than we admit. - Once you have truly acknowledged sin, you can really appreciate grace. - Grace provides a motivation that moves us away from sin, not an excuse to stay in it. - Our obedience allows God to work through us rather than despite us. - Stop rededicating occasionally and start confessing daily.
Part 7 of our series on 1 Peter. Message from Student Pastor Brandon Kennedy on July 23, 2017.
Points: - Our calling as Christians is to bless despite hostility, because Christ has blessed us. - The greatest apologetic is not an intellectual defense but a life of compelling hope. - Our witness and words in the midst of suffering should lead others to ask about the hope that is in us. - The suffering of Jesus leads us to rejoice because he has defeated death, secured our place, and gives us victory through the resurrection.
Stand-Alone Message. Message from Guest Speaker Phil Young on July 16, 2017.
Points: - Build an altar - make worship a priority. - Pitch your tent - remain faithful to God's leading in your life. - Dig a well - do the right things to bless others now and for future generations.
Part 5 of our series on 1 Peter. Message from Pastor Jason Hayes on July 9, 2017.
Points: - Order is not inferiority. - When leadership is at its worst is when our witness needs to be at its best. - Our legacy might not be in how we lead but rather in how we follow. - The outward might impress but the inward will inspire. - Poor leadership bring pains while strong leadership brings pleasure.
Part 3 of our series on 1 Peter. Message from Pastor Jason Hayes on June 25, 2017.
Points: - Within every person, there is a search for identity and belonging. - Our culture wants us to identify with where we are and what we’re doing. But, Jesus established our identity in who we are and what He’s done. - Our identity in Christ is intricately intertwined with our inclusion in the body of Christ. - An identity in Christ results in a purpose in life. - Jesus mobilized the temple and thus we need to embrace our role as priests.
Part 2 of our series on 1 Peter. Message from Pastor Jason Hayes on June 18, 2017.
Points: - In a world that is fallen, there will always be a search for hope. - Protect yourself from things that distort or divert your thinking. - Make a tangible commitment towards steady spiritual growth. - Refute empty obligation and embrace a loving relationship.
Part 1 of our series on 1 Peter. Message from Pastor Jason Hayes on June 11, 2017.
Points: - In a world that is fallen, there will always be a search for hope. - The fragile nature of life accentuates our need for a strong hope. - Hope in Jesus is different than asking Jesus to bless your hope in the world. - Our hope isn’t built on what we hope to come true. It is built on what has already come true.
Stand-Alone Message from Worship Pastor Chuck Hooten on Sunday, June 4, 2017.
Points: - Our adoption was planned. - Our adoption restores. - Our adoption brings clarity. - Our adoption brings hope. - Our adoption is secure.

Part 4 in our series "Did God Really Say...?" Message from Pastor Jason Hayes on Sunday, May 14, 2017.

Part 2 of our "Advent" series. Message from Pastor Jason Hayes on Sunday, December 4, 2016.
Message from Pastor Jason Hayes on Sunday, November 27, 2016.
Points: - Expectation is often birthed out of what we don't have and centered around what we hope is to come. - Unmet expectations are usually the result of misguided hopes. - Letdown often stems from temporal efforts to satisfy never-ending needs. - In Christ, God offers something both marvelously wonderful and gloriously eternal. - God's promises are not just something to anticipate in the future, but rather something to enjoy in the present.
Points:
God is not surprised by the events in our world.
Greed and hatred have always been the downfall of humanity.
The condemnation of sin will often arouse hatred rather than repentance.
Whether we recognize it or not, the Kingdom of God is being advanced.
Other people's rejection of Jesus doesn't jeopardize His sufficiency for us.
