In the end, we come back to who Jesus is, what he has done, and what he wants in our lives. We are to give back to him, freely, joyously, and generously, and when we do that, we believe that he can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.

View Details

This week, Lead Pastor Matt Dean continues our series on Ephesians 3:14-21. Our hearts are to be marked by trust and faith in the one that truly fills us and provides direction in our lives. We must not lean on feelings or desires apart from the fullness of Christ within us.

View Details

This week, Lead Pastor Matt Dean casts vision for the purchase of a future home for Grace Auburn Church. The next five weeks will be shaped around Ephesians 3:14-21 which speaks to our heart in this process. We rest fully on the provision of the Lord and trust His guidance every step of the way. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean takes us through John 4:1-45. He reminds us that Jesus has come to save sinners from their sin and from themselves, whether self-righteous or immoral failures; both types of people need Jesus. Nicodemus had self-righteousness – but still needed Jesus. The Samaritan woman had shame and obvious outward sin — and she, too, needed Jesus. We are a blend of them as well – we tend to bounce between pride and failure, between self-control and self-indulgence, between well-behaved and regretfully broken – and Jesus is the great Redeemer of all who believe.

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean teaches from John 3:22-36. In verse 30, we read, "He must increase, but I must decrease." This must be the posture of our lives. We are to elevate Jesus above ourselves and look to him for life.

View Details

View Details

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean takes us through John 1:19-34 and looks at the theme of the Lamb that was slain through all of scripture. From Genesis through Revelation, the Bible provides the unified story of Jesus, "the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world."

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean teaches through John 1:14-18. He reminds us of Who became flesh and dwelt among us, Jesus, and encourages us:

To KNOW the HOPE to which He has called you.

To KNOW the RICHES of His glorious inheritance in the saints.

To KNOW the immeasurable greatness of HIS POWER toward us who believe.

View Details

View Details

This week Executive Pastor Lee Cadden teaches from John 1:6-8. He reminds us to be on guard against the religion of self-worship and to look to Jesus as the light of the world. The great privilege and responsibility of all who have life in His name is that you can no longer remain an ambassador of self, but you must bear witness to a dark world with all of your life.

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean continues our series in John's Gospel. He takes a look at Chapter 1:1-5 and reminds us that to have life in His Name, we must believe in the truth of Jesus.

View Details

This week we begin a new series that will take us through the entire year. We will be studying deeply through John's Gospel and looking at what it means to have life in Jesus' name. Matt reminds us that to have life in Jesus is to be redeemed by Jesus, forgiven by the work of Jesus, and made alive by Jesus. In other words – to have life in Him name is to have Jesus. He is the gift. He is the goal, and He is the reward.

View Details

Seeing Jesus — and our whole life response to bring glory to Him. That’s the goal. May there be GREAT GRACE  upon us all – that we too would posture ourselves first generously before God, and then from that generosity of His grace to us, that we would posture ourselves generously before one another, now and for then, with the certain hope we have because of eternal life with Him.

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean taught from Luke 12:13-34 and reminded us that our treasure is in Jesus Christ. Earthly treasures are temporary and fleeting, but Jesus is forever. Therefore we must set our minds now on what will be then and live in generosity and good works while keeping our eyes fixed on the only source of life, Jesus.

View Details

This week Executive Pastor Lee Cadden concludes our series on the book of Romans. He finishes the journey we began 16 weeks ago by reminding us that we are fully alive in Christ, “wise to what is Good and innocent to what is evil” and that we should posture our lives around this truth.

View Details

This week Lead pastor Matt Dean picks up in Romans 14. He teaches what The Word says about Christian Liberty and reminds us that instead of passing judgment along to each other (about disputable matters), let us pass on words of encouragement and lives of mutual joy in Jesus and one another. Let us hold firmly to the essentials of our faith and pursue unity with one another. So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. The goal is living in harmony for the glory of God.

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean continues our journey through the Epistle to the Romans. He picks up in chapter 13 this week and reminds us that in view of God's mercy because we have one true King – we can honor authority over us to the best of our ability as we increasingly align our lives with Jesus.

Because we have one true King – we are called to walk as God’s chosen ones – holy and beloved. How we live truly matters - how we love one another truly matters - and with eternity in mind – in word or deed – we are to live in Jesus name with thankfulness to Him.

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean teaches through Romans 12. He leads us through the following response to God's mercy in our lives.

Here’s my whole life (from You) so now I know that all that I am and all that I have is from you God.  You chose me. You saved me. You awakened my heart to see you and believe. You called me yours. You accomplished my salvation. You gave me righteousness. You are my Peace. You are my eternity.

And (through You) I belong to the Church and with your people - You have given me gifts to use in the gathered Church and with the community of Christ followers.  God help me live by faith through the promises you have given me, God help me serve selflessly through the strength you have given me, God help me give generously through Your provision for me, God help me care for others through the capacity You have given me. God help me love people in my life through Your life in me.

(to You) in this broken world I know there will be hardship, suffering, opposition, and hard choices — but I offer my life to You – a living sacrifice to You - bearing faithful witness to You.

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean picks up in Romans 10:17 and brings us through the end of chapter 11. He reminds us that God is sovereign over salvation and that applies to all people and our response is worship. For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever.

View Details

View Details

This week Mission Pastor Hoffman Rhyne teaches through Romans 6 in our series.

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean teaches through Romans 5. He tells us that because of Jesus - because we trust in Jesus, We stand in grace We stand forgiven We stand accepted We stand redeemed We stand reconciled We stand loved and pursued We stand free of performance-based acceptance with God We stand welcomed by my Father in heaven We stand not just loved by God but have His joy and pleasure We stand as a child of God - with the holy affections of a Father pleased with us. Standing in this grace - we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean speaks on Romans 4:13-25. He encourages us to live in our righteousness through Jesus as Abraham did when he put his faith in God and the promise He made.

View Details

This week Executive Pastor Lee Cadden continues our series. He picks up in Romans 3:27 reminding us that we are to boast in Christ. He then expounds on how Abraham's faith was counted to him as righteousness and what this means for believers of all tongues, tribes, and nations.

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean continues in Romans 2 through the end of Romans 3. He reminds us that: God is good and He is God. God is just and He is our justifier. God's justice is perfect and we have been made perfectly acceptable in Jesus. This gospel really is good news for all who believe.

View Details

This week, Lead Pastor Matt Dean continues in Romans 1:16-2:11. He asks, "what is our response to these passages in view of the mercy of God?".

  1. We humble ourselves. I am sinful, not just you. We are sinful – not just “they are sinful.” I need Jesus; you need Jesus; they need Jesus. Help me remember the Gospel as I help you remember the Gospel – and together, we have been given this ministry to proclaim this Gospel to the ends of the earth.

  2. Remember, God is grieved by sin – but never defined by sin. Jesus took on our sin, our punishment for sin – but only by choice, only by love. God is the definition and standard of what is right, good, and Holy. So any human endeavor to redefine what God has defined and designed is simply a further indication that debased thinking is misdirected worship.

  3. When we see people living in ways outside of God’s design, we should first be humble and remember that we are not responsible for other people’s choices, but we are responsible for how we live and how we love other people. Lead with grace, live out the truth, and remember God’s kindness leads us to repentance.

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean begins a new series in the book of Romans entitled In View of God's Mercy. Each week, we are asking the question, in view of God’s mercy – what is our whole-life response to Jesus? As we study through this series, our prayer is that we would see that the gospel must not live only in our heads, but it must take over our hearts and motivate concrete action in our lives as well.

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean concludes our journey through 1 and 2 Peter. He sums up the series by reminding us that our Holiness in Hardship matters and is possible, in Christ, and that we have been born again to a living hope, so no matter what comes, no matter what they say about you, and no matter how hard life gets, you have Jesus, and He keeps you.

View Details

This week Student Pastor Caleb teaches on 2 Peter 2 where we see the theme - Your Holiness in the face of heresy matters, and is possible, in Christ. He ends with the call to be watchful that you are not deceived. Consider what is being said and what is implied by what is said. Don't be lulled to sleep with articulate communication. Be weary of those you listen to that they are not false teachers. Stand aware and study to know that the truth you believe in is the truth that saves.

View Details

This week Executive Pastor Lee Cadden teaches through 2 Peter 1. He tells us of the theme of 2 Peter - Your Holiness in Hardship matters, and is possible, in Christ. He ends with these questions: - What cleverly devised myths are you prone to believe? About yourself? About others? - What have you forgotten today that Jesus would have you remember? - You have been given the gift of faith → are you supplementing it with virtue, knowledge, self-control, steadfastness, godliness, brotherly affection, and love? - Are you living with eternity in mind? Peter was. Did he fail? Sure. but as he got closer, his gaze remained on Christ. - Do you live as a pilgrim or a resident? A pilgrim assumes he is still on a journey, and this land is not home. A resident settles in and assimilates. Disciples are always pilgrims, and Jesus is the way.

View Details

This week Lead Pastor Matt Dean concludes 1 Peter. He reminds us that in the midst of suffering we have the God of ALL GRACE who has CALLED US to HIS ETERNAL GLORY IN CHRIST and that we are restored, confirmed, strengthened, and established by our Chief Shepherd, Jesus.

View Details

This week Executive Pastor Lee Cadden teaches from 1 Peter on the costs of following Jesus and how our lives are different from the world because of our faith in Him.
