Born and raised in the Northwest, Aro first became interested in dance music at age 10, three years later his dad bought him his first turntables which he used to teach himself the art of turntablism at age 14. By then he was playing youth clubs and various events, going on to play Main Stage at Colne Rhythm and Blues Festival before an international DJ, all at the age of 15. Aro had built up some hype around his mixing skills and tune selection. Securing a residency at the biggest club night in his home town at age 17 not long after creating his own night. At age 21 he was given a residency at Club Zone in the City of Preston. It was around this time he got into music production, it started as just something fun but it soon developed into a love and passion for producing music. Finding his feet when it comes to Boom Bap and House/ Techno. He’s been on to produce and engineer tracks with local artists and aiding them to get their first BBC Radio plays as solo artists. He has a burning desire to get UK Chart sales and also climb the ranks in the Tech House scene as a DJ and producer. To date, Aro is working on his first release for his new label Ora Room Records, there’s a real buzz about his tracks in the industry and he feels his time has come to deliver the goods.
