In this passage of scripture we find Elijah struggling as he was being bombarded with voices of fear, exhaustion, loneliness, and doubt. In spite of all of these distractions, Elijah heard from God because he had continually learned to listen. As we enter in a new year, I believe one of the keys of experiencing the supernatural power of God for our lives is the desire and determination to listen. As we listen to God through the Holy Spirit, he enables us to speak the right words, see God's direction and vision for our lives, and obey with proper actions. I believe that God is waking up the Church to be a people that will demonstrate His love and power to the world, The Kingdom message is in the air, and the Spirit of God wants to partner with ordinary people who will believe.
Identity releases destiny REALIZING who we are as sons and daughters of God will bring us into deeper levels of of understanding. revelation, and intimacy with the Father. But this is not a life of striving to become; it is a blissful life of simply being. In fact, the entire ccreated order is standing on tiptoe waiting for the UNVEILING of the sons and daughters of God...for us to manifest our truest identity!!!

Galatians 3:29 - "And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."
Later in the same book to the Galatians, Paul writes in chapter 5:1
"Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
We often quote this verse without really knowing what Christ has freed us from. What is the bondage we should never be entangled up in again? Let us look and see how free we truly are when we are in Christ. - Pastor Rifle
"Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation." 2 Corinthians 5:18 NKJV
We have been restored and brought together again, with God, through the shed blood of Jesus. This then is the model for the ministry of reconciliation into which all of us are called. We are all ministers of reconciliation. Just as the power of the shed blood of Jesus has reconciled us to God and with God, we are also called to be reconciled one to another.
The is the answer to the prater jesus prayed for all believers:
"I prat also for those who will believe in me through their word; that they may be as one, as You, Father, are in me, and I in You, that they may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent me" 1 John 20-21 NKJV
It follows then, that our witness and our testimony are more fully complete when we are more fully reconciled, one to another. This is our Ministry of Reciliation...and here's a good place to start.
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God." 1 John 4:7
COVENANT PROMISE

We will be looking an aspect of God's grace that should give us as believers confidence in his faithfulness towards us.
What we will be looking at was part of the Old Covenant yet changed dramatically when Jesus walked as man and ushered in the New Covenant once He was raised from the dead by Holy spirit. Gal 3:29
Let us dig deeper into the powerful verse and see His faithfulness toward us.
In God's Kingdom we all stand on level ground according to the faith that God has gifted to each one of us. When we turn to Christ through heartfelt repentance and confession of our intent to follow after Christ, we receive one of the true treasures of God's kingdom, which is faith. It is this kingdom faith that Jesus inquires about when he asks in Luke 18:8, "Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"
As we examine the gospels we find that Jesus often spoke powerfully into moments where he found no faith, little faith, and even great faith! It seems that Jesus always expressed great pleasure when he encountered those who demonstrated faith in the things that He has spoken. God's kingdom advances through our simple response of belief, trust, and obedience in the relationship that we have in Christ. Today let's receive and learn from the truths that scripture proclaims concerning Kingdom Faith.
We have been studying The Kingdom of God for the last couple of weeks. Today we will continue our journey in the most important parable of all according to Jesus. The Parable of the Sower. This parable has so much in it to learn from. What happens when we hear and receive the Word of God? Can we count on certain things coming our way after we hear the Word? Gideon was faced with his own weakness, fear and failure when God proclaimed him as a mighty man of valor! Gideon certainly seemed the most unliked to save anyone from the midianites. in spite of Gideon's own personal view of himself, God had a great vision and plan for him.
When God calls Gideon into battle the odds were not in his favor. God then make his army smaller and how he chooses the army is strange. He chooses the most undignified and thirsty.
God is calling us to be his army. To be thirsty enough to not care what others do or think. To be obedient enough to not question His plans or strategy. Unwavering faith and radical obedience is required to see breakthrough and to see God do the impossible.

Today we will continue to study what The Kingdom of God really is. This is a very important topic as both John the Baptist and Jesus Himself declared to the people: Matt 3:2 ... Saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Matt 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Let us make it a part of our everyday lives, not just something heard and read about on Sundays at church or on Christmas cards. Accessing the Kingdom of God is a powerful gift from God Himself, and can change our lives dramatically, so we can live continually in his victory. - Pastor Rifle
Habakkuk 2:1-2 "I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will look forth to see what he will speak with me, and what I shall answer concerning my complaint. And Jehovah answered me, and said, 'Write the vision, and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it.'"
Being a part of God's vision requires a clear understanding of what He has said, and runners who carry that vision to others. How we read the vision is indicative to how we share the vision. We also have to be submitted to the vision and be a part of the vision. We must be ready to be carriers of the vision and be able to be messengers of that vision everywhere we go. - Pastor Manuel
This morning I want to take a few minutes and share some important truths on the kingdom that Jesus so passionately preached wherever he went. There's no doubt that Jesus modeled what we are to also carry as we proclaim and live out the "Good News." What will that look like for Harvest Renewal Church as we reach Richmond and beyond? I believe the pursuit of these questions will be transforming for us all.
Having been agnostic for years, Przemek decided to acknowledge the claims of Jesus from Nazareth as true in 1995, his first year of university studies. Since then, he has been involved in conversations concerning faith with students, first with Campus Crusade in Poznan, then in Krakow through the Student Association "Reverse," now known as Every Nation Campus Krakow. This experience has been helpful in his work as an elder pastor at Christ the King Church, the position that he took in 2005. If we are kingdom people, that should be our way of living. Let us together expand this culture, so others will join us in it.

As David begins to see his battles become more he saw more victory and breakthrough. It is in the midst of battle that David sees breakthrough.
Do you feel as if there is something stopping your dream, life or miracle from coming to pass? There is definitely something stopping it. You must take it on with tenacity, perseverance and boldness. Until you fight to see breakthrough in your life you will not see it when you pray for others. Today it is right and holy to remember every life and honor the stories of these brave men and women. These stories or testimonies reveal the history of God's promises, power, and divine possibilities for a follower of Christ. Each story remembered empowers someone else to believe what is possible in his and her life. Today as we celebrate God's goodness I want to share the importance of three things. There is no doubt we find ourselves in a daily conflict with our enemy, Satan. Even though we know Christ has won the victory, that doesn't stop the enemy from drawing us into battle. John 10:10 reveals that the enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy and he does it all through lies and deception. I believe the main thing the enemy tries to strip from us is our courage; our courage to trust God.
In the few minutes that we have together today, I want to highlight the important principle of not living a self centered life. While pursuing the desire to live a powerful life, a sef centered life will never bring the change or revival what we desire to see in our generation.
This Sunday we turn to this familiar passage Luke 4:18-19 as Jesus begins his public ministry, clearly proclaims his earthly mission statement. He announces that he has come to set the captives free.

The prophet Samuel received instructions from God to go and anoint the new king from the family of Jesse. Did three thousand souls get added to the church because Peter was so special: Was Peter chosen by God above others Did God have something for Peter that He didn't have for others?
Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.(Acts 2:41)
If you just arrived on the scene that very day, you may have thought Peter was born a preacher and had been preaching for years.
Let us take a look at the life of Peter and see how he went through many seasons, just like we do today. Like Peter we should never believe the lies of enemy that tell us it's too late to become great in His Kingdom.

Today I want us to fain fresh revelation from a biblical example found in Acts 2:40-47. The church has entered a season and as they seek God they begin to discover the purposes that God has laid forth for this church.
Solomon the writer of Ecclesiastes gives us insight the God's purposes are manifested through different seasons of our lies. It is vital not just to realize you have entered a new season, but also to know what God wants to do in that season.
"And the angel said to them, 'Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.' " Luke 2.10-11 When you think about it this angelic announcement was multiple thousands of years in the making! From the moment that man fell in the garden, God had a plan that a Savior was coming. Many prophetic announcements over thousands of years would confirm this coming Savior would actually be the Son of God and He would change everything for mankind! This announcement of the coming Christ is celebrated in the church and is historically known as "Advent." Advent is usually celebrated the 4 weeks prior to Christmas and it prepares the believer's heart for the miracle of Christmas. There are five glorious themes, which are mentioned during the season of Advent. Today we celebrate Christmas by unveiling these five themes. Merry Christmas!
So now that Jesus has come, and ushered in something that would bringer joy to us all, how should we live our everyday lives to have this joy manifest?
The enemy is constantly trying his very best to keep our minds and focus on situations and circumstances that would cause us to mot be thankful. When we keep our focus on what the enemy is doing, rather than what God is doing in our lives, we often stumble.
As we reach this spectacular time of the year again, we will hear the word THANKSGIVING over and over again. We will see it on billboards, hear it in songs, utter it at the dinner table and on and on.
What does the Bible have to say about giving thanks? Quite a lot actually. All the way from the book of Leviticus through Revelation we will see the word "Thanksgiving" in the scriptures.
As we study the scriptures from the Old Covenant to the New, there is a repeated cry from heaven as to what our Father has always desired of His people. Jesus, who is the representation of the Father, said it in this way: The greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart. While we know this to be true, what does it really mean? How do we live this out in the business of life? What are some examples of this in Bible times, as well as, in 2015? Today, we will explore this topic by looking at the lives of men who did not fully go after the Lord, such as Saul and Solomon. And we will look at those who modeled it so beautifully, such as David, Paul, and Jesus himself.
For we are God's own handiwork (His workmanship) recreated in Christ Jesus, (born anew) that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us (taking paths which He prepared ahead of time) that we should walk in them.

The Lord wants to bring us greater freedom from things that hold us back........some of us it is just our mind sets that Christianity is going to a building on a single day. But He wants you to seek a personal relationship with Him in such a way that sometimes you come to prayer with only the delight in loving Him FIRST, and to be ON FIRE FOR HIM. Jesus shed His blood to pay for your freedom from whatever is holding you back. His forgiveness is an invitation to drop it all and walk with Him free from your past

In 1 Kings 18 Elijah is told to confront Ahab not with a rebuke or a word of judgement but a word to announce the rain is coming. This is a sign of awakening and revival in the land. This morning we are going to take a look at the lives of some people who found themselves in some very bad situations in just "The Blink of an Eye!" One's life can be turned upside down in the matter of just seconds. What would Eve, King David, Judas Iscariot and others in the Bible have done differently had they realized how quickly life could change because of a wrong choice? Song of Songs 2:15 proclaims, "Catch us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines, for our vines have tender grapes." Many times we find that it's those small moments of life where we have chosen to walk outside of the leading and counsel of God and where ultimately we find ourselves moving in a very wrong direction. Today let's examine our lives and make sure there are no "small" issues present, which could change life for us in "The Blink of an Eye!"

As we begin to conclude our sermon series, "Living the Resurrected Life," we want to recognize and understand God's perspective when we encounter seemingly impossible situations in our lives. In Mark 10:27, Jesus very clearly shows the way man perceives life is very different from the way God does.

I truly believe the DNA of the "Resurrected Life" is to allow us to thrive in the impossibilities of life! I have found if I am able to follow God into the destiny that He has planned for me, the impossibilities of life must be faced and embraced in order for my life to be transformed in Christ. Today, I want to share two stories from the Bible that illustrate how God allows impossible situations to challenge and change individuals as God transforms the impossible to the possible. I believe the truths that will be revealed this morning will help us to understand the purpose of the impossible and to answer many of the questions that rise up when we encounter the impossibilities of life.

Zacchaeus was a man largely despised and ignored by his Jewish brothers. He may have been shut out from the hearts of his brethren but the heart of Jesus was open for this man that others viewed as an "untouchable." This type of story concerning the love of Christ is repeated again and again throughout the gospels. In John 11:25, Jesus proclaims to Martha that He is the "Resurrection and the Life." It is amazing even though Jesus had not experienced His own physical resurrection that He was already living out the person that He was already living out the person that He was called to be by the Father! We all are called to live out resurrected life before others regardless if we feel we are ready or not. In Romans 6, Paul affirms that, "We shall be in the likeness of His resurrection." Today, we will study the encounter that Jesus has Zaccheaus as He models resurrected living for us today. As we draw understanding from the heart of Jesus we will learn the importance of what it means to "Touch the Untouchable."
Last week we looked at Ephesians 3 as being an invitation from Abba to go deeper in Him. Today we will continue along this theme and see how He calls us. Proverbs 25:2: It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. God has concealed things for us, not from us. As we go deeper in Him, we allow Him to reveal things to us. The level of our maturity and obedience has a lot to do with the amount of revelation we can receive. Some of us may feel that we are asking for revelation from God, but not receiving. Today, we will dig deeper into what we can do so we can receive more revelation from Him.
In this resurrected life that we are to live today, we have a choice in deciding how deep we want to go in the things of God. God gives us the privilege to choose. He allows us to enter into partnership with Him. God is calling all of us to go deeper in Him. LET'S GO!!!

As we were all brought up in the World System, there are certain aspects of the world that have been taught to us that are not of God. Certain phrases we use, concepts and ideas, opinions and actions that are of the fallen world. Jesus said in John 5:19, "Then Jesus answered and said to them, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.' " Let us take a look at a part of scripture that is too often taken out of context and used to justify not walking in love or not laying down our lives as Jesus modeled for us. Let's look today at the account of "Jesus cleansed the temple."

All throughout the bible God makes it known that angels are amongst us, and that they are to minister to and help those who are to inherit salvation. When you understand and know what somethings purpose is, then you get to experience and access it to a much higher extent.
2 Cor 5:17: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." The apostle Paul gives us a powerful picture of the resurrected life. At the moment of salvation there is a seismic transformation that takes place in our innermost being and the way we have lived life is forever changed! Instead of being seated in a place of sin, darkness, addiction and bondage we are fully set free and are now seated in heavenly places according to the book of Ephesians. What does that mean for you and me? That which we have been blind to before we now see with open eyes. A new realm of living from the spirit instead of the soul should now define and mark our lives. We now begin to live life as God had originally intended when He first breathed His Spirit into man. Today we explore this new spirit led life as new creations!
John 20:21-22:
So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit..."
Jesus was not only sent to heal, deliver, and set people free working together with Holy Spirit, He was also sent to challenge people. Sometimes that challenge called people to get out of their "comfort zones". Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever and is therefore still calling people to GET OUT OF THE BOAT AND WALK ON WATER TODAY.
Let us push in today to hear what Holy Spirit wants to challenge us with because in this resurrected life, We CAN WALK ON WATER!

So what, if anything at all, really did happen to us when we became reborn? How is life meant to be different all of a sudden? We look just the same. Nothing physically has changed. We still deal with the same issues. Why did Jesus Himself speak so much of being "born of the Spirit" or commonly referred to as being born again? Are we missing something here? Let's take a deeper look at what the Word says about this.
Resurrection: the rising of Christ after His death and burial, the rising of the dead on Judgment Day, a rising again as from decay, disuse, revial, the act of causing something that had ended or been forgotten or lost to exist again, to be used again. Did God send somebody along your path to help resurrect you at one stage? Can Holy Spirit in us cause a resurrection in the lives of others? Let's examine the lives of some people who brought back "to life" others around them and learn from their examples.
When Jesus entered Jerusalem the crowds filled the atmosphere over the city with praise, excitement and anticipation. The city was so moved by the response of the people they began to cry out wanting to know who this Jesus was! I believe cities today are waiting to be moved and shaken by the response of the believer as we welcome the presence of Jesus into our communities and neighborhoods. As we celebrate Palm Sunday may our response mirror what we find in scripture today!

Today we finish the sermon started last week to explore the great need to keep ourselves in a state of encouragement. I believe the completion of our dream or destiny often relies upon the habit of keeping ourselves encouraged.

What does it mean to be humble? Is it important to be humble in these days we live in? When God talks about humility, do we see it the same as He does in the year 2015?
As we have started our corporate time of seeking God through prayer and fasting as a body today, let us gain some insight from the Word as to the proper way in doing this.As we humble ourselves and draw near to God as the scripture says, we can know with certainty that we well always receive from God more that we give to Him.
Today we are going to look into two different parts of scripture, one from the Old Testament and one in the New Testament. Let us pay close attention to the difference in us, as a people, being called by His name (Old Covenant) and us, as His children, been given His name (New Covenant). 2 Chron 7:14: "My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Eph 3:14-19: "for this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is width and length and depth and height to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." We have been given His name. Let us use it, as bringing glory to Him.
Last Sunday we began a new 8-week study title "If My People." For the next eight Sundays we will share what happens in our life as we respond to this proclamation given to King Solomon and the people of Israel based from II Chronicles 7:14. Recently I read a quote from a good friend of mine, Prophet Jim Laffoon. Jim wrote, "Sooner or later, all of us will face a moment when we will choose whether we will become a womb or tomb for the word God has given us." Wow, what a profound question concerning how we live out the words God invests in our lives! Today, we will discuss how we will steward the word of God as we turn and seek Him in life. As we approach this season of prayer and fasting God will speak powerfully to each of us but we will each ultimately decide whether we will be a womb or a tomb for His word.

Today when we looked in the mirror, did we see something different than we did the 1st week of this year? After an entire year of coming to church on Sunday, how much have we grown spiritually?
God's message from the beginning of time has always been the same, which is, "I desire to be with you!" God's love for us culminates in His decision to send His only Son wrapped in human flesh to be the Savior that we all desperately need. In every other religion in the world it is best described as man's effort to reach out and try to find God but only in Christianity do we find God reaching out to man and providing a way to His presence.
As we look at this prophetic passage announcing Christ's birth, we acknowledge God's eternal passion, which is to draw close to His creation. Today we will look at four specific reasons in our lives that will always draw God to us.

"For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ" John 1:17 NKJV Let us find out what Grace has made available to us in Christ.
"I am the way, and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me." John 14:6 Today we return to this epic verse that Jesus proclaims concerning Himself. Some in today's society might receive this claim by Jesus Christ as quite arrogant and self-promoting, lacking in the love that Christ was to represent. Instead, I see this eternal truth as one of the most loving statements that Christ has ever made! If you know someone who was in a total hopeless situation and you had the truth, which could change his or her world, the most unloving thing you could do would be to stay silent and not share it. Jesus knew the risk of being misunderstood but boldly and lovingly proclaimed that He was the answer to mankind's greatest need. This loving truth still today provides a path for every lost and weary traveler into the loving arms of our heavenly Father. Today we will examine the three most common myths that attempt to disprove this eternal truth and how Christ's words still stand today as a light unto our path for all who believe.

This title comes from a quote made by All-Pro Basketball star, Allen Iverson, in 2001. After being criticized by his coach for missing several practices, Iverson said to the reporters, "We're in here talking about practice!" Iverson goes on a several minute rant against his coach repeating the words, "It's only Practice!" 29 times. Apparently Mr. Iverson seeing himself as an elite all-pro player in the NBA questioned the need, or the importance, for practice. This same manner of thought is echoed many times over in our society and even in the church! As Jesus Christ concludes His discourse on the Sermon on the Mount he sums up all of his teaching with this thought from Matthew 7:24-25 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock." Open your Bibles and hearts today as we emphasize what Jesus is teaching, "We're in here talking about practice."
This week we will finish up what we started two weeks ago on how to live free from fear and anxiety. We will look at what Isaiah has to say about the thoughts of God. He gives us a hint at how to use the very thoughts of God on high. Then we will take a look at a key issue to which James (the brother of Jesus) gives us insight. After studying these two parts of scripture, it should be easier for us to recognize when the enemy is trying to make us take his thoughts and ways of fear. Let us walk in The Lord's words - "Do not let your heart be troubled".

As we have studied and read the Word two weeks ago, we came to the realization that Jesus brought forth The Teaching on the Mount. What makes this teaching so special? Three chapters without a single interruption.
Jesus was teaching a new concept to the people. They had not heard about a Kingdom that would produce BLESSINGS for them without following external rules and regulations. Jesus teaches them that what comes from within them would be more important than that which they would follow on the outside. This new Kingdom would bring BLESSINGS to them when living from the out, rather than the way they were conducting themselves up and till then- from the outside in.
Lets explore together how His Kingdom still works the same for us today.
One of the primary themes that you will find in the Sermon on the Mount is Jesus teaching on the "Matters of the Heart." He urges everyone to examine what is really rooted in your heart. You cannot live life separate from what is actually in your heart. In Proverbs 27:19, it says, "As in water face reflects face, so a man's heart reveals the man." Today, as we begin in Matthew 5 with the "Beatitudes," I want us to place the matters of our heart up to the mirror of God's word and see what is really revealed in our life. Strap on your backpacks this morning it should be an eye-opening excursion!
If we read a "Red Letter Bible" we notice something changes in the book of Matthew from chapter 5 up to the end of chapter 7. EVERYTHING is in red. How important is that not to us? For the first time we see Jesus speak without interruption for an entire 3 chapters. At the end of chapter 7, it says that Jesus taught as one having authority, not like the scribes, and astonished the people.
What would be so important that Jesus would speak to the people who thronged Him without taking a break for anything - no healing the sick, multiplying food or any parables, just straight teaching?
Together we are going to dig into the importance of "The Sermon On the Mount" as we allow Holy Spirit to take us deeper.
"through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not, they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore I hope in Him!" Lamentations 3:22-25
Many of us have summarized this passed from Lamentations in the familiar and simple phrase - "His mercies are new every morning!" How powerful and comforting is that statement as it brings great hope to each of us that our God is able to bring the answer, provision or miracle that we need today! There are unlimited possibilities in God as each day dawns. There is never a day God lacks in any way. Wow, how amazing is that thought!
Today, as we recognize Pentecost Sunday, we remember the powerful outpouring upon all flesh which changed history and our lives. But, for the 120 disciples that had gathered for many days praying for the "Promise from the father", it started out like any other morning. Then scripture record that "suddenly" it all changed, and each of those 120 were never again the same.
No matter what you may be facing today, we are reminded that God's mercies, compassions and faithfulness are new today! Rest in the hope that is found in Him each and every day, Hallelujah!

Since 1866 we have commemorated and remembered those who have given their lives in all American Wars. It is a moment where we as a nation say with one voice that we will not forget!

When God speaks about having our love life transformed, he does not speak of our ability to transform but of His divine nature filling and flowing through us to bring forth transformation.
When you think about having something transformed in your life, many times words like hard, difficult, painful, and arduous come crashing into our consciousness! We all have had those experiences in our life where our transformational attempts were fueled with a lot determination and self-effort and most of the time failure.
Have you ever heard the phrase, "I'm hungry for more" when the hunger was not pertaining to food? Maybe you have even used that phrase yourself. What can one possibly be hungry for other than food? Matthew 5:6 reads "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled." The Word of God has much to say about being hungry for something other than food. Let's look at, learn from and follow examples of some Bible heroes that were hungry for God, and how their lives are a testimony to us today thousands of years later.
I'm sure many of us are aware of the fable about a boy looking after sheep and getting bored, so he cried out to the people of his village that there was a wolf coming to attack the sheep. We all know the tragic end of that fable. It seems in many ways the same has happened to us in our daily lives when it comes to love. When something gets used more than it is supposed too, it loses its value. We hear all around us the word "love" being used, but in so many different ways that it is difficult to see the meaning of the word being acted out. Let's take a look at what the Word has to say about love, and how others will know we truly mean it when we say "I love you."
