Hey good people! Has there ever been a time where you stopped trying because things weren't working out the way you planned? You knew that it could be really beneficial for you, but you were afraid of being disappointed again. You were afraid of wasting your time again. You were afraid of putting yourself out there again.

I'm here to urge you to try again. Whether it's studying the Word with a different translation so it helps you understand the Bible better, a new hobby, applying for a new role, activating another business, or working out - try it again. Don't allow how it worked out last time to keep you from an amazing journey. I can't tell you the outcome, BUT, I can tell you that when you try it again with God - it will always turn out better than you thought it would in the long run.

Could it be that you're struggling to depend on God because of how you've been let down or hurt in the past? Could it be that your complete reliance on Him may cost you parts of yourself that are hindering you from peace and rest? There's nothing wrong with desiring to provide a beautiful life for yourself and for your family. But God doesn't need your independence, accolades, or strategy - He needs your yes.

Hey good people! Being spiritually tested isn't for the faint at heart. Those moments, notice I didn't say lifetimes, require us to be so intentional about spending time with our Father and not allowing the chaos to break us.

We can look to how Job handled his tests. The enemy did everything but kill him, yet he never cursed God. He wrestled with what was happening, but never stepped out of his righteous bag. I know it's hard to stay in the fight, but Job 23 tells us that if we continue to walk with God, we'll come out as pure gold.

Job 23:10

Hey good people! This week's episode was a hard one to make. We're living in unprecedented times. So many of us are struggling with so many things and it makes it difficult for us to choose faith. Faith requires full surrender, while fear gives us a bit of control. Fear gives us the ability to manage our outcome, even if it's not ideal.

But my prayer for you is that you glean from the widow that the Prophet Elijah asked for water and bread. My prayer is that you trust God with it all, despite what it looks like. My prayer is that faith becomes your first option and not your last resort. My prayer is that you spend more time resting in God's presence and less wrestling with what He's already worked out in His Sovereignty.

Hey good people! Have you ever felt like your past was following you, no matter what you did? Ever had the thought "well, if everybody thinks I'm XYZ, I guess I am XYZ". Rahab, known as a prostitute, could've easily fell into that same trap and pattern when approached by the Israelite spies. She could've turned them away because she didn't want any trouble and didn't want to disobey the king. Instead, she was obedient to God - no matter the cost. She fought for her family. She reached her turning point.

Is God tugging on your heart about something? Is God calling you to do something super uncomfortable that may even cause you to lose something or someone? The story of Joshua and Rahab encourages us to be strong and courageous, even in the face of uncertainty. So let's commit to turning the corner this time.

Hey good people! Have you ever had a moment where you look around and you ask yourself "how did I even get here?". That moment typically is said in a bit of distress as we're trying to patch up the pieces of our lives that quickly became messy. David, a man after God's own heart, found himself in that position. What he perceived became reality and his cover up plan didn't work.

In this season, my prayer for us is that we watch what we perceive. That we don't allow ourselves to fall into the same traps, the same patterns, the same cycles, but that we shift gears quickly so we don't find ourselves disappointing God. I believe in you - pass the test!

Hey good people! This week, we're talking about the power of our decision making. There are times where we are waiting on God and it's imperative that we're still and know that He Is God. There are other times where God is waiting on us to move and we need wisdom, insight, discernment, and understanding to go do what He's already shown us. In this season, my prayer is that we mature beyond God giving us signs and seek the principles that God has shown us move His heart.

Hey good people! I'm looking forward to seeing what God does in your life as you believe that God can do exactly what He said. I'm praying that this time, when you ask, you ask believing FULLY that He can and will do what you're asking of Him. I'm praying that you would no longer be limited by what you see or what you've experienced, but that you would be restored to childlike faith.

Hey Good People! Have you been tending to your garden?

So many times we ask God for increase when we haven't done anything with what He's already given us. God has given us ideas, gifts, talents, opportunities, resources, etc and if we're honest, we've squandered a few. We became self-conscious about what other people would think, nervous to displease God, or just lazy. But in this season, let's do the work to nurture our garden so that we can hear God say "well done my good and faithful servant".

Hey good people! One of the hardest things to be is consistent. It's easy to start, it's hard to sustain. But the Word of God shows us, through Biblical characters, that the promise and the favor is on the other side of our obedience and consistency.

I pray today's episode encourages and challenges you to be consistent in your walk with God and in what He's called you to do. Let us be consistent in our actions, our attitude, our attention, and our appearance. By God's grace, we got this!

Scriptures: Daniel 1: 1-15

Hey good people! This prayer is for your patience. Before you decide to move to another podcast episode, I know patience is a really, really hard practice. It's often easier to act than to wait. It's easier to move forward than it is to stay exactly where you are. But there is a blessing in being patient. There's a blessing in waiting on God in the big and the small things.

Micah 7:7 gives us a blueprint to follow "As for me, I look to the LORD for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me."

Let's practice patience this week. I know we'll grow in our relationship with Him because of it.

Hey good people! Productivity requires consistency, intentionality, and disciple. This week, my prayer is that you tap in and focus up. This isn’t the time to get lazy or become complacent with your God given assignment. If God trusted you with it, it’s not the time to become paralyzed with fear so that you don’t execute continuously. The enemy wants to stop your progress so that he can ultimately stop your petitions to God. But I’m standing in agreement with you that it’s go time! Let’s get to work.

See you next week!

Hey good people! This week, my prayer is for your creativity as you start identifying and activating your gifts. We’re no longer playing small or questioning whether or not God has use for us and our gifts in the Kingdom. Instead, we’re seeking God wholeheartedly, being a light to those wherever God has us, and being so tuned into His voice that we know when and how to use what He’s placed inside of us.

See you next week!

Hey Good People! Welcome to the first episode of 2024.

Today, I'm praying for your evolution. I'm praying that when you're tested this time, you pass the test. Not for your glory, but for His.

Scriptures:
2 Corinthians 5:16-17 (NLT): So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

Isaiah 64:8 (NIV): Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter we are all the work of your hand.

Hey Good People! As we plan for 2024, I pray that you spend intentional time in stillness with God. Not just time where you submit your prayer requests, but time where you allow Him to speak back to you.

God doesn't want to compete with the chaos of our lives, He wants to direct our lives and take control.

Scriptues:
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." - Exodus 14:14
"Be still, and know that I am God" - Psalm 46:10

Beloved, the enemy is after your rightful place in the Kingdom of God. He literally comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10) and he'll do whatever it takes to discourage and make you doubt what God has already promised to you.

But this time, we're not letting the devil win. When he tries to attack our minds with thoughts of doubt, our past, even our current situations - we're fighting back with Scripture. Your spot has already been secured so don't allow him to talk you out of what's rightfully yours.

Scriptures:
Romans 8: 16-17
Ephesians 2: 8-19

Hey Good People! I pray this episode and the Scriptures bless you as you go throughout your week. This episode is vulnerable, I may or may not have cried while praying lol.

Many of us struggle to see God as our Father and come to Him because of the fatherly or familial relationships we've had or seen. My prayer is that you take time to pray for God to change your heart and show you who He is. My prayer is that you remember that God is unlike any man you've ever known. He doesn't disappoint, lie, forget, cheat, or abandon. He loves you and He wants to be close to you because He made you.

Scriptures:
Isaiah 64:7 – “Yet, Lord, you are our father; we are the clay and you our potter: we are all the work of your hand.”

Ezekiel 36:26-27 - And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.

Hey friends! Thanks for joining me for another episode of God Bless My Brand.  Today we're diving into letting go of the things that we're holding on to in fear or anxiety. Sometimes, we believe that because we're in a silent season or we're not seeing immense benefits - that it's time for us to end that season. However, often God is calling us to let go of how we've envisioned it so that He can release the strategy that we need.

Hey there,

Thanks for joining me for another episode of God Bless My Brand! This week, we're walking through the foundation of an idea. In our spiritual journey, our ideas should be "vouched" by God. Think of this as the 'blue check' for your idea before you start planning and proceeding with those plans. This will allow you to start and continue experiencing that perfect peace that God promises, because you know He's already gone ahead of you to work things out in your favor.

See ya next time!
