Waiting is the worst right? Waiting on responses from doctors, a report card, waiting for a ride, etc. It makes us feel like we aren't in control. Waiting makes us put our trust in something else other than ourselves. In this episode, we talk about God being worth the wait. What He's doing in you, is so worth the wait.

Is it possible to have peace when so many things pull at you all at once? What about when relationships aren't what they should be? In this message, JT, will walk us through Philippians 4 and show us how that peace is possible.
What must we do to walk in victory? We must not get satisfied. We must not forget our past. We must focus on the prize. We must keep going! Pastor Alex shows us how we can in the victory we are in.
For most of us, life seems to have us spinning in circles at times. Our schedules send us in one direction, family in another, unexpected change in another and it never seems to end. It seems so hard not to stumble when life seems to always make us dizzy. In today's message, PK will walk us through Paul's advice on how we can find our footing.
You ever feel like you are in a situation where there seems to be no hope? Most, if not all of us have. The temptation when we are in the middle of it is to just give up. In today's message, Pastor Ashley Pritchett will remind us that when God is in it, we can't give up too soon.
We all want people we can count on, call on and lean on as we go through life. Even the people that say they are better alone need others. ’With’ was always God’s plan, so it is important to pick the right people to do life with. In this message, Pastor Kevin, will look at a few questions that will help us to find our people.
Following Jesus sometimes feels like a roller coaster. We experience highs and lows; it feels up and down. But what if that isn’t how it is supposed to feel? In this message, Pastor Kevin will look at Philippians 2 and help us see that following is about the ins and outs, not the ups and downs.
Life is hard sometimes. People and relationships are difficult. These are just the facts. Life and people can be challenging all by themselves and it gets even harder when those areas seem to be pushing us back to who we were before we were changed by the gospel. In this message, Pastor Kevin encourages us to keep the change. There are things trying to pull at us, our families and the church, but they are not stronger than what binds us together.
We all love memberships that we feel have the best benefits for us. For some it is Costco or Sam’s Club. Maybe a season pass to Worlds of Fun, VIP passes at concerts, or TSA Pre-check so you don’t have to wait in line when traveling. Whatever it is, most of us love memberships because of the rewards we get with them. In todays message, Pastor Kevin will look a membership that Paul says we need to pay attention to, above all.
We all want to be able to say, ‘To live is Christ and to die is gain.’ But the reality is that it is easier to say than to live. In this message, Pastor Kevin, will take a look at this passage and share 3 things than can help us all to live it and not just say it.
As we continue our series on Philippians, I can almost read portions of this letter like Paul is loving his kids and wanting the best for them. In today's message, Pastor Kevin will walk through another portion of chapter 1 and show us how we can continue to turn and look to Jesus no matter what is going on in our lives.
In this new series on Philippians, we will look at ways that God wants us to grow and mature. As Paul writes to the church at Philippi, he conveys his heart for them, his desire to keep following Jesus no matter what happens and he encourages them to do the same. In this message, Pastor Kevin, will look at 2 things that Paul wants us to know about living our lives for Jesus as he starts the book of Philippians.

What is one thing we can choose to be as we follow Jesus? In today’s message, Brad Keller will share with us that when we choose to be different, God can use us to do things we didn’t even know were possible.
You ever quit something because after you started, you felt like you couldn’t win or complete it? Most of us have. We feel like if we don’t get a good start, we may not finish or finish well. But what if that wasn’t the case? What if where we are isn’t an accident? What if where we find ourselves puts us in a place where Jesus changes how we finish. In this message, Pastor Kevin will look at John 9 and talk about how you start isn’t always how you finish.
Could we be one thing away from our lives changing? One decision, one prayer, one relationship, one job…one thing. Surely it can’t be that easy. Life is far more complicated than that. Or maybe that’s what we’ve been telling ourselves. In this message, we will look at an interaction Jesus had with a young man to discover the answer.
Come on in and take a seat on the bed as Melissa shares a few things that we all need to hear this Mother's Day.
We all know what it feels like to be ignored or overlooked. We try to play it off, but it often times leaves us feeling like we aren't important, we are invisible, we don't matter and/or we aren't wanted. Sometimes the thought of being overlooked and ignored can creep into our relationship with God. We pray and feel like maybe we aren't a priority for Him. It isn't the case though with God! In this message, Pastor Kevin will encourage us to keep holding onto our faith when life gets hard.
We have all felt like giving up at times. We look around and feel like everyone has their lives figured out, except me. Everyone is doing great, except me. Everyone is getting blessed, answers to prayers, the list goes on and on. When we feel like this, our tendency might be to just give up, but don't do that. In this message, Pastor Kevin takes a look at a parable Jesus told to help us to give it, life, ourselves and God, one more chance.
We have all made mistakes. I wonder how we would feel if we were known by our biggest ones. We probably wouldn't like that. I bet 'doubting' Thomas feels the same. In this message, JT Batey, will take a different look at Thomas and challenge us to be more like him.
As Easter people, we will have now or never moments that we have to be ready to capitalize on. We never really know when they will show up, so we have to be ready to move when we have the chance. In this message, Damion Cooper, will show us how Joseph of Arimathea handled his now or never moment.
Ever had your hopes set on one thing and then not only does that not happen, but the opposite happens? That’s probably how the disciples felt after Jesus was crucified. They didn’t think this was the end, their hopes were crushed. In this week’s message, Pastor Alex, shows us that in these moments, Jesus will show up in right in the middle of our situation and that changes everything.
Easter isn’t just once a year, it is everyday. The cross wasn’t the end, the empty tomb was! A dead savior is not a savior! Jesus died for our sins and rose to life to make us right with God - that’s what Romans 4:25says. The resurrection proves who he is who he said he was! This is the greatest story, greatest hope, greatest victory! Today we start a new series called Easter People, we will take a look at the people that were involved in the Easter story. As we do, we will learn from them, so that we can also have epic moments with our risen savior and live the life he died and rose to give us. In today's message, we will look at the first witness of the resurrection, Mary Magdalene.
What God has been doing isn’t just momentary change, but lasting change; eternal change. Decisions and changes that have been made will echo through our family and our children and grandchildren. As we wrap up this series, it seems fitting to talk, not just about how to be built different, but about how to stay different.
In this message, Pastor David walks through portions of Ephesians so that our lives are met with the careful walk that is required to be built different.
We are discovering that we are built different. In today's message, we will continue that journey, it’s important that we BELIEVE DIFFERENT, I hope you’re ready to be challenged. This isn’t just believing that you can leave things behind, but believing that you are heading towards a different story, a different life.
Jesus didn’t give his life, so we could live a safe life of comfort, He gave his life to give us life to the full and that means we should be living a life that is building his kingdom and is a threat to the enemy. He is asking us to run at a different pace. It sounds hard, but what if we are overcomplicating it. In this message, we will look at 3 simple things to do in order to run at a different pace.
Today it is so easy to follow people because of social media. With the click of a button we can follow people we know and those we have never met. We can see where they go, what they do, and when we are bored or tired of following we can scroll to the next person or unfollow them. Sometimes this way of following on social media creeps into how we try to follow Jesus. But that isn’t what He had in mind when He called us to follow Him. In today’s message, we will look at how we can make a different commitment to follow Jesus.
In today’s message, we will hear the direction and focus that God has been speaking to Pastor Kevin. This word is for our church and for each of us. God wants to speak to you today, so let’s be open to what He would say.
Wouldn't it be great if prayer was something we looked forward to instead of something we feel like we should be better at? Well it can be! Prayer isn't supposed to be difficult, complicated, confusing, or confined to once a day. God wants us to live our lives in constant connection with him, but how do we do that? In this message we will look at the ways we can move prayer from a line item to a lifestyle.
Sometimes we make prayer out to be harder than it really is. It's understandable though, some of us have struggled in this area for a while. But in today's message, we will look at how Jesus taught to pray. As we do this we will discover that prayer can be simple, short, life giving, powerful and fun!
The last 2 years haven’t been how anyone would have really planned them, but God is still God! He still keeps promises, He still has plans for you and He still wants a better relationship with you. As we begin 2022, let's hope and expect something more from God. And a great way to do that is to put first things first. In today's message, we will look at the secrets to being successful putting prayer first this year.
As we come to the end of 2021, most of us will begin to think about how it went and how next year will be. In this message, we will be challenged to think and pray about what we take with us into next year and what we want it to look like.
In this message, we will take a look at the Christmas story to rediscover the thrill of hope that it truly brings.
As Jesus is delivering this counter cultural way to live in His kingdom he just keeps dropping bombs. I wonder if anyone was like, can we get a break here Jesus, how about something easy? There are points where what Jesus is saying seems too hard or even impossible. We will all be tempted to point at others and say, they aren't doing all this, but then Jesus would probably smile at us and say, that's ok for them, but what do we do?
Most of us eat too much at Thanksgiving. We convince ourselves that we will eat better the next day, we will go to the gym or whatever we need to say to let us grab one more piece of pie, turkey, etc. Our excuses feel good, until we realize that our waist size has changed. Then we are faced with a decision, do we make size adjustments or life adjustments. In the sermon on the mount, Jesus presents us with a similar decision. Will we adjust what He says to fit our lives or will we adjust our lives to fit what He is saying.
When Jesus gave us an invitation to His kingdom, He also gave us a new way to live. In this message, Pastor Alex looks at the counter cultural way we are supposed to navigate our anger.
Last week, we started our sermon on the mount series and quickly discovered that this sermon would change everything. It changed everything for the people that heard it then and those of us that hear it now. Jesus gave us a new way not just to think, but to live. A counter cultural guide to kingdom living. In today’s message, Pastor Kevin looks at verses 4 and 5 and talks about how Jesus is offering to change our stories.
Over the next month we are going to look at the sermon of all sermons. The sermon on the mount. It will serve as our counter cultural guide to kingdom living. In his most famous sermon he unveils what the kingdom really looks like. Jesus so beautifully turns righteousness and the kingdom of God upside down. The religious leaders at the time emphasized the external things, but Jesus emphasizes the internal things that spill over to the external things. He spoke with confidence, conviction, clarity and an authority that the religious leaders didn’t have. He challenged traditions, he cherished people and he called unlikely people to be a part of a new kingdom. In fact, He is still calling unlikely people to it today. In this message, we will see who actually inherits the keys to the kingdom (it's not who culture thinks).
This week in our Neighbors & Nations series, we have US missionary, Andy Estrella. He has given the last 14 years of his life to reaching college students at Missouri State University. In this message, we will hear stories of life change on the campus and be invited to take part in God's mission to reach the world around us.
Social media has made it so easy to follow other people. With a click we can see what they are doing, where they are going, things they like, etc. If we get disinterested, we can simply unfollow them. This very passive way of following others has, at times, influenced what following Jesus looks like. If we are to be a disciple, we have to know what following looks like. In this message, Pastor David takes us back to the first invitation to rediscover what following looks like.
In this message, we will look at the story of the Good Samaritan. As we do, we will pay close attention to the man who was on the side of the road, because how we see him=who we see. Three different people saw him, but they each saw him differently and that determined how they responded to his situation.
There seem to be more dividing lines than ever. We see sides and not people, politics not people. We see nations as problems or ‘other religions’ and not people. As God looks at the world and at people that seem to be spinning out of control, what is God’s response? In today's message, we will find out that God's response to the world is a one word response.
When it comes to community, 'with' was always the plan, it’s how Jesus lived and it is how we go further. There may be some still that aren’t buying it. Community is a great concept/word, but we still aren’t sold. You may be asking what’s in it for me? Well in today's message, we will look at the benefits of community.
None of us really want to go through life on our own. There are times when we think we can do it all, but life is always better together. Even though some of our pain has come from others, our most dangerous moments come when we are alone. We were designed for relationships, to be with others and God. In today's message we will see just how important the word 'with' is for all of us.
Jesus talked a lot about harvest, seeds, soil and fruit. Matter of fact, one of his last conversations with the disciples revolved around fruit. He didn’t just talk about his favorite fruit, but he shared with them his desire that they produce fruit, lasting fruit. He knew that as he told them how it works, that centuries later, we would want to know as well. So in this message, we look at how Jesus tells us how to produce.
Fall is in the air! Labor Day Weekend ushers in the change of the seasons and for some of us, we can't wait. We love fall! The pumpkin spice, bonfires, cooler weather, slower pace and comfy clothes! The fall also brings in this expectation of change. We look for the grass to get greener, the leaves to change and our gardens to produce. In this message we will be challenged to check and see what God has been growing in our lives. He wants to give us a harvest, He's been working on it and us so we will be ready when it comes.
This series has been all about prisoners, captives, scriptures written from behind bars. I have one more thought for you today, or rather a question for all of us, are those bars still with you?
Prisoners don’t always live behind bars, sometimes they live behind enemy lines as a captive. Being behind enemy lines makes most of think of ways to escape, but what if that isn’t the plan?
