In today's episode Jalen and Patrick discuss the the benefits of living in self-sustaining, Libertarian minded communities, walking the walk when it comes to living an eco-sensible lifestyle while still living in the modern world, why living in the tropics is better than living in overpriced Western countries, and how crypto/NFTs are changing the economical landscape in Latin America and beyond.

Today host of The Jason Stapleton Program, Jason Stapleton and Jalen Vasquez talk about what life and entrepreneurship looks like in a time where  A.I. replaces most if not all "unskilled" work and labour. The history of how technology has always been looked at as a threat to the job market but for some reason always creates even more jobs and employment than before, and why it is important to create an income that is location independent.

"You may save up money and quit your job to travel for 6 months, then go home and work for a year to save up, then find work that allows you to travel, then settle into a corporate career, then get tired of said career and decide to ride a bike 3000+ miles on an adventure, then start a business, then….well you get the idea." -Jason Moore

Jason Moore Is the host of my favorite, and one of the biggest travel podcasts on iTunes, the Zero to Travel podcast. His enthusiasm for life is contagious and as a fellow travel junkie he also loves adventure. Today we touch on the being a digital nomad and running an online business during a weird year like 2020, making the most out of life, how the travel perspective evolves over time, and balancing travel and work.

Jeff Deist is President of the Mises Institute.  Mises.org exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian school of economics, individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard.

These great thinkers developed praxeology, a deductive science of human action based on premises known with certainty to be true, and this is what they teach and advocate. Their scholarly work is founded in Misesian praxeology, and in self-conscious opposition to the mathematical modeling and hypothesis-testing that has created so much confusion in neoclassical economics.

Strange times indeed.
The virtue signaling is real in 2020, I'm working on getting these stupid buzzwords out of my vocabulary but first some of them must be addressed.

Welcome to the future you animals.
I had my friend Lenny from Holland over to my place before he moves to Saigon to get the lowdown on Blockchain technology. This is something I am very interested in now and I'm looking forward to learning more about.

It sounds very complex but once you see how undeniably transparent it is it's hard not to see the inevitable adoption as a monetary function as well as this taking power away from central banks due to the fact that it is possible to send money MORE securely without the need of a third party, without approval by anyone and without it being taxed, only an internet connection. Check out http://inspiredbyfire.org/ for the latest episodes and leave a review for the love of Christ.

Lenny is well versed in this realm, with that being said if you are looking for basic/beginner information on this complex subject I recommend starting with these resources.

Greeting fellow humans, today I have Stoic superhero Anderson Silver on the podcast to talk Stoicism in the modern era. Anderson is an Author and Podcaster who's mission it is to spread the good word that helped him escape a life of purposelessness and anxiety to one with tranquility and mental peace.

I enjoyed our conversation and am looking forward to sharing it with you to hopefully inspire some clarity for life. Practicing Stoicism doesn’t require learning an entirely new philosophical lexicon or meditating for hours a day. Instead, it offers an immediate, useful and practical way to find tranquility and improve one’s strengths of character.

Today we are talking some travel!
Ahhh South East Asia, if you are from the west, showing up here for the first time feels like being warped into a different version of reality. A true blast to every single one of your senses.

I will never forget, my first time ever setting foot in another country outside of the US was in Saigon, Vietnam, and my first taste of REAL humidity. The smell of the thick tropical rot, spices, BBQ, and motor-bike exhaust, the intense visuals of true action in the streets, the taste of $2 bowls of Bun Cha and $0.50 beers, the sound of horns, music and chatter from all angles. I am doing this place a real injustice by even trying to explain, so listen to the Podcast!

Today the details are all in the title of the episode. Some useful travel tips, some things I learned along the way and some ideas to hopefully help you get inspired and plan the ADVENTURE of a lifetime

Howdy humans, In today's episode we will be taking a deeper look at what it actually means to be equal. For many reasons, morality and Idealism belong to those who advocate total equality for all. Many argue about the detrimental economic effects of socialist policies but it's not as often the case for morality since most assume that they at least have good intentions.

Today I want to point out that it is our diversity and uniqueness that makes us human in the first place. There are too many real differences to mention, such as, differences in skills, ambitions, heights, weights, desires, goals, looks, ways of thinking, etc that display how any attempt to "correct" this is inherently anti-human. Especially when done by using the arm of the state. Any and all attempts at total equality (Communism) has resulted in arguably the most horrific human atrocities in modern history.

Greetings from Vietnam! and welcome to the Inspired By Fire Podcast. In today's episode, we will be going over social media and why today is my last day mindlessly scrolling through a never-ending whirlpool of "don't forget about me today" posts.

It is something I have gone back and forth with now for some years. Knowing I felt better when it wasn't in my pocket I still found myself going back later down the road after significant time off. Getting into yet again another tangled subject, in episode 10 of Inspired By Fire we analyze the human condition, poverty. The human ability to escape it through free markets and how the state has the legal ability to route the evolution of the economy for its own benefit.

Most have been taught that the state saved capitalism from itself using progressive law but this couldn't be further from the truth. History actually shows this to be the time of connection between corporation and big government cartelizing industries to further imperial interests at home and abroad, the antitheses of free market capitalism.

Too many have voluntarism, capitalism and free markets confused with "cronyism" and "mercantilism" which are more appropriate terms for the way the United States and many other governments in the world are run.

In this episode I want to shed a bit of light on how the blame is in the wrong place. Hollywood movies and the corporate press project an image that business and entrepreneurship is the root of all evil, when actually it's state policy that is the red thread that runs through the many aspects of unnecessary suffering in the world.
