An Hour with Dave highlights issues that deplete the political power in the Latino community and address ways to improve civic engagement and participation in the political process. So, Fasten your seat belt.
As a long- term resident of North Philadelphia, David has seen the ups and downs of the Latino community.
Fighting to make a difference, Dave utilized his position as Director for Horizon House to connect his community with in-patient, detox programs, and outpatient counseling services. With his strong expertise and long-term strategic planning, he arranged emergency shelters during code blue weather for our homeless population and afforded transitional housing.
Currently, David volunteers for the Servants of the Poor for 20 years. He is a member of APMâs Steering Committee and sits as a Playground Board member at Rainbow de Colores. Most recently he serves as the elected Ward Leader for the 19th Ward in North Philadelphia.
