In the modern world, money is very important to most people. Everyone needs money and everyone would like to be richer than they are. For some people, their main reason for doing anything is to make money. However, there are other reasons. I am going to write about some of these. Most people go to work because they need money to pay for food, clothes and a home. Some people start businesses to make more money for themselves. These businesses pay their employees. If a business closes, the employees lose their jobs and cannot afford to buy anything. So in this sense, it is true to say that ‘Money makes the world go round’. On the other hand, some people believe that money has become too important. They say that money makes criminals and can lead to wars between countries. These people think that people and personal relationships are more important than money. In my opinion, we need money to live, but life without friends would not be worth living. So, in answer to the question, ‘Does money make the world go round?’I would say ‘No.’ Of course money is great, but I also believe that good friends and families are what really make the world go round. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

A CAKE STORY ‼️
So... I am not going to lie: as a Brazilian, birthday parties and celebrations are a really big deal for me. Having cancelled his party this year was disappointing. To top that off, we had terrible weather on his birthday which made us miserable during his bday car parade. But we are so thankful for everyone that made his day better by making noise, bringing banners, balloons and presents. Thankful for those who called or sent him little surprises along the day.
I want to give a shoutout to two local business who made Ben feel really special on his day. One is MIMMO Play Cafe where he takes classes and the second one is le Bánh Patisserie which recently opened. They are play partners at the moment, so they sent us this very cute package with a beautiful and delicious strawberry cake and a playdoh version of it! It comes with candles and a little banner too! So so cute and the cake is so incredible! You can see Ben in the picture trying to figure out which one of the cakes is the edible one! 😅 We loved it so much! If you are in the area, make sure you check them out as they are offering birthday packages right now. Thank you so so much MIMMO Play Cafe and Le Banh Patisserie. Check out my stories to see Ben trying to get a piece of the cake before we sang Happy Birthday! 😅

Being successful is the desire of all of us residing over this lovely planet. It does not matter whether the concerned person is a child, youth or the old aged, at each and every stage of our wide life span, it is our inbuilt desire to be successful and proceed forward consistently towards more massive success.
The mentality of competing with each other can frequently be noticed at any of the places including schools, colleges, coaching, work fields including organizations, offices, etc to name a few. As a comparison to our efforts towards the works to get success, we often expect much more and want success to knock our doors very soon.
If in case, it does not happen, we use to get frustrated and finally get deeper inside the darkness of inferiority. Such a situation has been noticed among most of the people where regular and dedicated efforts have been ignored and merely the failures have been entertained.
There stand several such examples all over the world. Most of the iconic personalities have previously faced serious failures in their life’s struggles. Yet, they continued on their ways to success and finally achieved massive success in their fields of expertise. No caste, creed, religion or colors stopped them ever in their ways towards success.
DON'T force yourself to learn quickly. You need to take your time so as to let the information sticks in your mind. Trying hard to learn quickly is exhausting, and the results you get are most of the time unsatisfactory, consequently take enough time to learn and work constantly and mindfully beside your dream. Don't exhaust yourself for nothing. Learn on your own pace, according to your abilities. With time and strategic practice, you will, for sure, become better than before. When you look around you, you may find other people who have this ability of learning just so fast. This may make you feel sad about yourself, thinking that you are not good enough to learn. about, that's not true. You are enough as well as you are unique. If other people perform their tasks quickly, keep in mind that there is nothing wrong with you. They have that ability. The good news is : you can have that ability too. What you lack now is experience. One you have it, you will be able to learn fast as well. But in order to gain experience, you first need to work and learn step by step I could say gradually, and according to your abilities. Here's one thing I want you to always remember : it is better that things go slow and strong rather than fast and fragile.

Cowboy A cowboy rode into town and stopped at a saloon for a drink. Unfortunately, the locals always had a habit of picking on strangers. When he finished his drink, he found his horse had been stolen. He went back into the bar, handily flipped his gun into the air, caught it above his head without even looking and fired a shot into the ceiling. “Which one of you sidewinders stole my horse?!?!? ” he yelled with surprising forcefulness. No one answered. “Alright, I’m gonna have another beer, and if my horse ain’t back outside by the time I finish, I’m gonna do what I done in Texas! And I don’t like to have to do what I done in Texas! “. Some of the locals shifted restlessly. The man, true to his word, had another beer, walked outside, and his horse had been returned to the post. He saddled up and started to ride out of town. The bartender wandered out of the bar and asked, “Say partner, before you go… what happened in Texas?” The cowboy turned back and said, “I had to walk home.

"How the World Got Light"
The president of Darkland was a pig a very bad pig. He was a pig of major importance. He was rich, and he had a lot of strength. But he was mean to all the animals in Darkland. He kept all of the world’s light in a bag. He preferred to keep the world cool and dark. He wanted to stop the progress of the city. The animals couldn’t work in the dark. He didn’t have any respect for them. “ Light is too good for them,” he said. “Only I should have light.” But the animals needed light. So they decided to hold a competition. They wanted to find the smartest animal in Darkland. That animal had to steal light from the president. They advertised the competition everywhere. All the animals came. The animals all showed off their skills. The audience watched and then voted for the animal with the most knowledge. The winner was a tall bird named Raven. They assigned him the job of getting light. The next morning, Raven ate breakfast and then left his home. “How will I gain light from the president?” thought Raven. He needed to trick the president somehow. Then, Raven had an idea. Raven could make his voice sound like anything! Raven walked up to the president’s door. He made the sound of a crying baby. He cried very loudly. Soon, the president opened the door. “Be quiet!” the president yelled. Right then, Raven quickly made his move. He flew by the pig and found the soft bag. He took it outside. The sun was inside the bag! Raven flew high and put the sun in the sky. The president was very mad. Raven tricked him! But the other animals were very happy. At last, they had light all because of Raven's smart thinking.

People say first impressions count. What do you think? Can you understand a lot about someone from the very first time you see them or meet them? I think I’m good at judging someone’s character from the first time I set eyes on them. It’s easy to understand if the person is my kind of person.
First impressions count most when you meet someone important. If you have a job interview, it’s very important to give a good first impression. The interviewer can decide if they like you as soon as you walk through the door. Are you well-dressed? Do you look happy? Do you greet the interviewers? All these things are important. I also think first impressions count when you meet your future in-laws.

The bus driver was finishing his journey, and arriving at the bus stop asked if there was anyone left, thinking of any passenger who had fallen asleep, and no one answered, looking in the rearview mirror he saw that all the passengers had got off, so he turned off the del lights, when the doorbell suddenly rings, he looked in the rearview mirror and sees no one, so he stopped the bus, and turned on the lights to make sure no one was hiding, when he reached the end of the corridor he did not see anything. Keep driving and beyond that the bell keeps ringing, turn on the lights again and nobody was there, just silence. Almost reaching the last whereabouts the doorbell rings desperately as if someone had left their finger stuck. He grabbed courage and spoke backwards " keep calm, I'll open the door "giving him enough time to go down as if he were a living person and closed the door, he followed his to the ranger and he no longer heard the Bell. He returned to his home and he tried to forget the scare, the good thing is that it never happened again ...

🎙️🎙️💪🏿💪🏻🎙️🎙️💪🏿💪🏻 Be a Better Leader
Respect their time. No matter where you are on the corporate ladder, everyone’s time is important and showing that you respect their time speaks volumes about you. Set up reminders to prompt you in advance for a meeting you’re supposed to attend so that you’ll be able to get there on time. Take a break, often. It’s important to leave some white space in your daily schedule every day to recharge. Constant work does not necessarily lead to higher productivity. The best ideas come when you’re relaxed. Slow down, let your mind drift, and give yourself time for contemplation and reflection. Keep your ears open. Smart leaders recognize that they need to stop talking and start listening.
Volunteer and offer your time. Get involved in community and charitable programs. Be part of a food drive at your local church or mentor kids at a youth development workshop. Work smart, not hard. Effective leaders understand that it’s not the number of hours you put in that count; it’s the results that you get. Learn how to avoid time traps and focus on how much you get done, not the effort you put in. Make the most efficient use of your time by delegating tasks so you can focus on the things that really matter.
Hi, this is AJ, welcome to our next lesson. This one is called “Excitement.” We’re going to talk about excitement and I’m going to read a little section from a book called The 4-Hour Work Week, which is a fantastic book. I love this book. In fact, I’m going to do a few lessons based on sections of this book because I really, really love it. I think it’s just an incredible book that really has a very creative way of looking at life and work and enjoying yourself. The theme of the book, really, is enjoying your life. I mean that is really what the book is all about and Tim Ferriss is the writer of the book. Again, the book’s title is The 4- Hour Work Week written by Tim Ferriss. Absolutely excellent book, I highly recommend it. Now the section we’re going to talk about today is about excitement. So let me read what Tim has to say about excitement and then I’ll talk more about it. So here we go. “What do you want? Well, first let’s ask a better question. Most people will never know what they want. I don’t know what I want. If you ask me what I want to do in the next five months for language learning, on the other hand, I do know. It’s a matter of specificity. What do you want is too imprecise to produce a meaningful and actionable answer. Forget about it. What are your goals is similarly fated for confusion and guesswork. To rephrase the question we need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Let’s assume we have 10 goals and we achieve them. What is the desired outcome that makes all the effort worthwhile? The most common response is what I also would have suggested five years ago, happiness. I no longer believe this is a good answer. I no longer believe that happiness is the reason we achieve goals. Happiness can be bought with a bottle of wine and the idea of happiness has become ambiguous through overuse. There is a more precise alternative that reflects what I believe is the actual objective for achieving goals. Bear with me. What is the opposite of happiness? Sadness? No. Just as love and hate are two sides of the same coin, so are happiness and sadness. Crying out of happiness is a perfect illustration of this idea.
