Host and owner of the NBayd show, Gary has studied the NBA game since his childhood. An avid fan of history, Gary has applied that interest to the NBA and developed a knowledge of players and teams that played long before he was around to witness them. A radio veteran, Gary's career began as a student in Oswego New York, with stops along the way in Martinsville VA, Olean and Salamanca New York before settling with his wife Ziyanda in Middletown New York in 2014.
Gary gives his thoughts on the WNBA being in NBA2K for the first time. Then, Kyle Goon, the Lakers beat reporter for the Southern California News Group. Next Coach Rich joins the show to touch on all the latest NBA news with Gary.
Gary explains what he believes is Carmelo's best path back to the NBA. Then Dan Favale of Bleacher Report joins the show to talk about the NBA off-season. After that, Chris Manning of Fear The Sword, the SB Nation Cavaliers website, previewed the Cavs upcoming season.
The second hour starts out with Gary talking about the upcoming seasons schedule and the new areas this year. Nekias Duncan, from SB Nation, joins the show to talk about the Miami Heat. Then, Jon Hamm, from WTLC, joins the show to talk some about the Oklahoma City Thunder. The show ends out with Gary talking about English 101 and some more about the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Kent Sterling calls into the show and talks about specialization and overworking oneself. Richard Anselmo, former NBA scout and coach, joins the show to talk about the current state of the NBA teams. Gary ends out the show talking about free agency.

Lastly, Rich Anselmo, from Bball Ops, joins the show and talks about the Rockets trade and his predictions for next season.

They start off by talking about the draft picks from last night. They talked about potentially moving Lonzo Ball. Talking about the impacts of the AD trade. Talking about the USA women soccer team. Dan Favale joins the show to talk about the New York Knicks. Scott Harrison from SB Nation calls in to talk about the changing situation with the Pelicans as Zion Williamson is heading there. Gary kicks off the second hour of the show taking some calls from listeners. Sports writer Tracy Graven joins Gary to give his thoughts on the NBA Finals. Dave D'Agonostino joins Gary to break down the offseason for the NBA's southeastern division. Another guest joins to also give his thoughts. Gary closes with some thoughts on the playoffs and Steph Curry.
Gary Ayd kicks off the first hour of the show discussing the play of Steph Curry after Klay Thompson's injury in Game 6 of the NBA Finals and how he thinks the Dubs guard gets a pass from the media and doesn't compete at an all-time great level. Jose asks Gary the Top 5. Vivek Jacob from Yahoo Sports Canada joins Gary to discuss the Raptors' NBA Finals victory. Former NBA broadcaster Bill Herenda joins the show to give his opinions on The Finals and the Raptors going forward, also referencing Kevin Durant's upcoming free agency.
He begins the hour with a couple of quick hits around the NBA, a bold prediction, shocking news about his knicks wanting to move down and potentially lose out on the only real talent available. Reasoning behind the knicks possibly move down because they feel that they can get players better suited to partner with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Time and space are the currencies of offensive effeiciency according to Paul Jones, Gary gushes over Siakam great game and how he's been on the bandwagon the entire year. Outside of Kawhi Leonard the two guys discuss how Danny Green role may go unnoticed around most pundants but Paul and Gary understand his importance to this team and their victory last night and moving forward in the series. The next segment deals with the rockets statement released by Daryl Morey where he stands by Mike D'antoni but we visibly see that they are forcing his hand out of the door. His final segment of the First hour is making fun of himself about how he has got to this point in his career.
During the show, Gary talks about not sleeping on the Eastern Conference and they are going to be better than people think. Gary discuss the bad deal that Chris Paul and the Rockets could be in the future and the Lakers addition to their newly formed team. Randy Zellea joins Gary to talk about the NBA free agency.Rich Anselmo joins to talk about the free agnecy moves that have changed the landscape of the NBA. Gary finishes up with what will happen to the Cavliers, now that they are in rebuild mode.
