The first mix of 2016! With New Year and my birthday now out of the way, I was able to concentrate and finish off this episode. I had been working on potential mixes here and there, going through tons of tracks, but finally put together something great worthy of releasing as the next episode! Happy 4th of July weekend everyone! This mix has been a long time coming! This mix was more a learning experience for me. I upgraded a lot of equipment and software of the last few month--not just music equipment either. I have a new camera to work with for artwork as well! In this episode I wanted to go about making a mix that mostly consisted of all the tracks I loved years back--before the term "EDM" was used. I have so many tracks that I couldn't even fit into this mix; so there will be more to come in the future for sure! If there was a song you loved back in the day and think I should use it in a future mix, comment or message me and I'll see what I can do! The album art on this episode is of my dog Kirby--not the vacuum, the pink guy. It's a new style I thought going with for future episodes. I'll see if I can go about posting a full resolution version. Enjoy everyone!!

This mix is a very different mix than the usual ones in the series. Been a crazy last few months for me. My grandpa had passed away and I took a break on mixing for a bit to focus on more important things at hand. I knew coming back to work on the next mix, I wanted something different that sort of reflected the mood of the last few months. The next episode will be more upbeat like the rest of the series! I'm also going to start featuring guest mixes in future mixes as well as possibly have other artists design the album art. Got a little side tracked with other stuff this past month, but caught bit by recording Episode 16 & 17 back to back!! The cover this month is from a photo taken from a friend of mine. This episode starts up with Above & Beyond's new single Sticky Fingers and by request I threw in a flashback track from Ferry Corsten aka System F! The cover artwork is based on a photo that the Hubble telescope had taken. It is an infrared view of the Tarantula Nebula. I really love images of space. I hope you enjoy this month's mix!
