In each of us, there is an intuitive longing to worship, a truth that resonates deep within us.
On this Sunday, we not only celebrated our one-year anniversary but also began the first week of our Explore God sermon series. One big question that almost everyone will ask in their lifetime is: what is the purpose of life? The answer to this question doesn’t just change how we see the world, but also how we live in it. Through the book of Ecclesiastes, we see that meaning and purpose are found in God. Everything else apart from God is a vapor.
As Solomon states in Ecclesiastes, life is meaningless without God. As we step into relationship with our creator we discover what we were created for and see that our true purpose is found in Him.
God wants to flow through His people by way of the release of spiritual gifts and the development of character. We are invited to greatly desire spiritual gifts and make ourselves available to be used by God. A spiritual gift is a supernatural ability given to all Christians to convey God’s love in ways that awaken the heart, mind, and body to the love of God. Using spiritual gifts should always lead others into an encounter with the love of God.
As believers when we step into radical generosity, we ignite fullness of joy in our lives and the lives of those around us! God calls us to be cheerful givers who live from the overflow and heart posture of obedience to God, and servitude toward others.
In this message, Pastor Caleb gives us practical keys to living in fullness of joy. It is the experience of knowing that we are fully loved. Through gratitude, community and communion we can grow our capacity for joy!

We aren't to remain uninformed or afraid of the Holy Spirit. God desires that we live a Holy Spirit-filled and empowered life. The Holy Spirit is our comforter, counselor, and brings conviction to our hearts.

The Hand of the Lord is something that can be known as an individual, personal experience, as well as a collective, community experience.
You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. (Psalm 139:5)
And the hand of the Lord was with them. (Acts 11:21)
We can accomplish more in a moment where God’s hand is at work than in a lifetime of our own effort. The hand of the Lord gives us strength and ability that’s beyond our own! This is a "now" word for your life and the church!
We can be confident that He that began a good work in us will be faithful to complete it. God is working, even when we don't see how He is working. We see this powerfully illustrated in the last chapter of the book of Ruth.
Without a doubt, the Kingdom of God is moving forward. There are things in progress that are still unfolding. Some things you see or get glimpses of and other things go undetected for some time. The fruit of what is being worked on is coming to the forefront.
In chapter 3 of the Book of Ruth, she experiences personal redemption and restoration. It pictures the redemption provided for us in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ, and He always makes it personal.
Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness; Sorrow and sighing shall flee away. (Isaiah 55:11)
When Ruth gleaned in the field of Boaz, she encountered more than just a place to find leftover grain. She encountered an atmosphere carried by a community. She experienced a culture at Boaz's field - kingdom culture.
The way they communicated was different. Circumstances never canceled their joy. They were a thriving, faith-filled, Presence-centered community. And Ruth was blessed just by being there.
Meet the Boaz company, and know that Jesus has called you to carry this same Kingdom Culture!
Everything that God did in Ruth's life hinged on a pivotal moment of surrender when she decided to return:
Ruth replied, “Do not plead with me to abandon you, to turn back from following you. For where you go, I will go, and where you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people, and your God my God. (Ruth 1:16)
Ruth returned to a place she’d never been but was born to be. This is the moment to return to our first love and to our position in Christ.
Vision Sunday is a day that we ask the Lord to speak to us by His Spirit and highlight what’s in His heart for the year/season ahead. Let's lean into the heart of the Father to listen in for the season ahead.

Supernatural grace is attracted to us when we choose to humble ourselves. In Part 4 of The Greatest of These, Pastor Caleb shares a message starting with Matthew 18:4: Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Humility is essential in the life of every believer, especially in these last days. Let's lean into this message, and remember to wear the cloak/mantle of humility.
