Rob Phelps is the head boys varsity basketball coach of the Bedford Academy Panthers. Known for their tough man-to-man defense and high academic standards, it is one of the most respected high school programs in NYC. Phelps, a former basketball standout at Nazareth Regional High School himself, would earn a scholarship to Providence College where he would help the Friars win their first ever Big East tournament championship in 1994.
