Josh shared recently with a congregation about an important topic - the saving, cleansing, redeeming Blood of Jesus.
Join us for our Christmas celebration! We start with some Christmas carols to set the mood, and then dive into the prophecy in Isaiah 9 announcing our Savior's birth. For UNTO US a Child is born, and UNTO US a Son is given.
I thought I was done with the Classic Rock series, but nope...we continue! Part 4, "What's Your Name?" explores our IDENTITY in Christ, who we are in Him and what we have in Him.
Shared with our congregation at Freedom Church Pryor for Thursday night Bible study. This is one of the first messages that I (Josh) shared years ago, and the content was solid but the delivery needed help. And the Lord gave me more insight into this that was included in the new version.
Our "Classic Rock" series concludes (for now - I may have an additional part being cooked up) as we explore the armor of God and learn to stand against the attacks of the enemy.
We continue our Classic Rock series and explore some things we believe and what to do when the pressure hits!
Welcome to our summer series CLASSIC ROCK. For the next three months, we're going to explore some messages based on classic rock titles. In today's message we explore how to WALK THIS WAY!
What does the Christian life look like? How are we to WALK in this world?
Good morning! I'm making moves to try to get the podcast going more regularly than we have been! A few nights ago, Melanie and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary by doing what we love to do - ministering the Word of God with our sisters at Eddie Warrior Correctional Center in Taft, OK.
I had some technical difficulties - my good recorder is currently missing - so I had to record this with a backup method. So my apologies for the rough audio, but I believe it's a valuable message you will enjoy.
WAAAAY back when. 1983. Pastor Lloyd was a young (29) man in his first pastorate when he shared this message with the congregation of Faith Life Temple, the Pentecostal Holiness church then located in Pryor, OK. (For those of you in the Pryor area, this was the church on the west side of town that is now the location of Pryor Apostolic Church.)
Recently, after over 50 years of ministry, my grandmother, Josie Dickson, graduated to glory, and among her effects, I found this cassette. It's 40 years old, but it played well, and I cleaned up the audio as best I could. I believe you'll be blessed by this message.
We conclude our WHEN LOVE COMES TO TOWN series as we explore "The Time of Your Visitation" and what it means when LOVE comes to YOUR TOWN.
Shared with our congregation at Freedom Church Pryor last year for Easter. We continue looking at what it looks like WHEN LOVE COMES TO TOWN.
It took quite a while to get all three parts of this out. Let's explore what happens WHEN LOVE COMES TO TOWN. Part 1 is a Christmas service, but I believe you'll be blessed by it.
Welcome to our special Christmas edition of the Faith Alive Ministries podcast! First, enjoy Christmas praise and worship with some classic carols:
O Come All Ye Faithful Joy to the World! Hark! The Herald Angels Sing O Little Town of Bethlehem God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen Angels We Have Heard on High
Then, we take a look at what the birth of our Savior really means to us. We've heard the Christmas story time after time. Millions of babies are born. So what makes this one special? Full access to every good gift of our good Father!
Let's go to the movies! The Faith Alive Ministries "summer blockbuster" series, Bible on Film (with graphic assistance from our good friends at Extreme Church in Pryor, OK) will take three Hollywood films and explore Christian themes and things we can learn from them.
Although he should be king, Simba is haunted by the hurt of the past, the loss of his father. Because of this, he finds himself living far below where he should be living, and his kingdom is suffering too. When we fail to step into our place, the world suffers. But when we remember who we are in Christ, we can overcome the hurts of the past and live in the victory God has called us to.

Rocky Balboa is the quintessential underdog who made good. But in Rocky III, success has gone to his head. His head and his heart are not in the fight - he is no longer doing what it took to ensure his initial success.
After a crushing defeat that he was not prepared for, and the loss of his mentor, trainer, and friend, Rocky has to make a comeback. Listen with us as we explore this classic film and learn to make a comeback!

In our first message, we explore the story of a cocky young baseball star and his long-suffering coach, as we learn to "Listen to the Coach", the Holy Spirit. Doing things HIS way will get the results you need!
It's been awhile. We've been shaking up and rearranging a few things and planning to come back strong in 2019. Join with us as we close out 2018 by celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
We start with a Christmas worship set. No snow, no reindeer, no Santa, no Grinch -- just six upbeat, joyful songs celebrating the REAL reason we as Christians celebrate this time of year, JESUS.
Then we dig into the Word of God to see just why Jesus came. Here's a hint: He didn't do it for Himself, because He is Love, and Love seeks not its own. He came for us!
In the message, I reference the for KING AND COUNTRY version of "Little Drummer Boy", which I showed as a special video in this service. It's not included in the podcast for copyright reasons, but you can see the video on YouTube here.
First things first, go watch this video from the Altar Boys.
Altar Boys - You Are Loved
Then come listen to Part 6 of the WAU: Who Are You? series. Who Are You? You Are LOVED!
From Ephesians 1, we continue exploring who we are in Christ. We are signed for and purchased, sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, and delivered and redeemed in Him.
Episodes 97 and 98 are taken from the same text, in two different facilities. It's amazing how the same text, with a different audience, can go two divergent directions. At Eddie Warrior, from Ephesians 1, we focused on the fact that we are ACCEPTED in the Beloved.
Because we minister in different facilities, not all of them get the material at the same time. So this is only Part 2 at Cushing while it was more along the lines of part 4 at Eddie Warrior.
Earlier this year I started a new series entitled WAU? (Who Are You?) I've misplaced the first two parts of the series, but here's the first part I currently have available. Because Jesus Christ has risen from the dead, and because He is alive in us, we have been MADE ALIVE!
This was close to the end of my teaching of Dad's "Nine Things You Need to Know to Live in This World", and it leads into our next series, "Who Are You?" We take a look at who we are in Christ and who He is in us.
I closed out the 2016 Streams conference talking about what happens when God's Words become your words.
Jody brings us a real-life example of the power and faithfulness of God in Saturday afternoon's second session at Streams 2016.
I shared with the Saturday afternoon congregation at Streams on this topic. We must have a firm foundation that the Word of God, as written in the Bible, is fully authoritative.
Rick brings us a word of encouragement and power at the Friday night session of Streams.
Rick shares with the Friday afternoon congregation with a totally different take on spiritual warfare. When you "fight" from a position of union with and in Christ, it changes the way you react to the "attacks" of the enemy.
Our great friend Jody Baker shares with the Thursday night session of Streams, talking about maintaining the "garden" of our souls.
My grandmother, Josie Dickson, shared with our Thursday afternoon congregation about the I AM statements Jesus made in the book of John.
The FAM Podcast returns! Streams in the Desert 2016 kicked off with an empowering message from our great friend Rick Manis talking about the help that the Holy Spirit brings us.
