The name "The Saber" is rooted in Confederate imagery; Columbus College, opened in 1958, was represented by the mascot called "The Rebel." This mascot was clothed in the Confederate uniform and held a saber. In an effort to distance from these more racist-leaning, militaristic imageries, The Saber is looking to you to help find a new, more representative name!

Gold is considered a precious metal; the 79th element on the Periodic Table. It has such a rich and deep history in human civilization in both good and evil lights. Used in so much art throughout the centuries to show us beauty of the ancients. But, it also existed as a catalyst for greed, as humans expanded and conquered. But gold itself remains innocent, pure, and beautiful.

Rivers form natural barries, they flow, in almost all cases, north to south towards the sea. Swollen by rain waters or melting ice, producing power. And along their banks, people fish, people bathe. Separating one country from another. Separating one state from another. Or cities, or towns. A beautiful thing about nature and about rivers, they carry on with or without us. Go experience life today. Make some art today.

We don't want to lose you over the summer, so here we present STONE COLD STORIES! This episode takes you back to Stone and Sheppard's first case solve in a not so fun way. In "The First Murder," Stone and Sheppard's teacher falls dead while the students are out to lunch. Will this classroom be all fun and learning, or will the walls be painted red with murder? In "The Burgled Butcher," Sheppard comes to Stone with a new, but not so interesting case: someone has been stealing from the butcher? Will this case be a breeze for a young and seemingly-naïve Stone, or will she be left scratching her head?
