In this conversation with David Swedlow, graduate of Circling Europe's SAS training and current facilitator with the Austin Circling Studio, we do both an overview of "baseline" circling as practiced in the major schools, AND a practice that we are co-creating which we are calling "Circling Masterminds". The distinction between traditional Circling and "Circling Masterminds", is covered in the podcast; but essentially, Circling Masterminds is approaching Circling with more "developmental intent" (i.e. "Yang" energy), which relates to more focus on our showing up as relational leaders in the world and increasing our impact.

This podcast has been excerpted and republished as the Free Udemy Course Authentic Relating & Circling Masterminds: a Short Course. I have added a few videos to the course, incuding the History of Circling, How to find a practice group, etc. The course also includes nitty-gritty and practical details of how to actually run a "developmental circle", which includes context-setting, time-management, real-world situations that you will encounter, and bloopers that you can avoid.

This is the first Udemy course on Authentic Relating. If you do check it out and enjoy, please leave me a positive review!

PS: we are holding our first Authentic Dating Free Introduction tomorrow, Thursday Sept. 5 at 7:30pm EST. I would love to see you there in order to lend your support!

In episode 05 of the Circling Guide podcast, I join my friends and partners David Swedlow and Darrell Duane to talk about Zachary Stein on meta-modernist philosophy, healing the masculine/feminine split, free will, cults, Burning Man and more. In particular, we discuss the impact of a new philosophy called “meta-modernism” on the practice of Circling. Full video below or listen on iTunes.
