The Weekend Flavor is a light hearted, fun filled, musically driven weekend breakfast show with elements of lifestyle information like Health on Saturdays and Spirituality on Sundays. The Weekend Flavor also aims to entertain and most importantly to educate. Veteran radio and club DJ Irma G has been a household name in Cape Town radio for 24 years. She has presented and produced for KFM and Good Hope FM, and host and co-producer on Heart 104.9FM, having hosted weekdays 9 to 12 for the last two years. Her persona expanded nationally when she judged Office Idols in 2005. Irma has MC’d a wide variety of Events, Functions and Parties. Her first MC job was the Michael Jackson HIStory tour. In 2004 she presented the first of the MTV AIDS awareness concerts held at Green Point Stadium, the “MTV Staying Alive Concert”, with such international headlining acts as Usher, Alecia Keys and P Diddy.

Research indicates that women are the one's that have a higher HIV/AIDS rate.

She got raped by her father for 7 years, she then fell pregnant, had a miscarriage and that is how it got out. She is a self - published author. Zizo is a motivational and inspirational speaker. Her new book is out. Zizo is also the founder of a Non- Profit Organization, Rise Black Girl Child Foundation which is yet to be launched. She's a living testimony of forgiveness. #TheWeekendFavour

Our Shero this morning is Amazing Mama Refiloe Molefe. Mama Refiloe is 60 years old in the Agriculture and Farming sector. Mama Refiloe has her own Veggie "Farmacy". She has adopted 3 creches/ pre- schools that are taught and trained on planting, these are just over 340 children and 40 juniors taken out of idle activities in the streets. They supply NGO'S with veggies and toiletries for orphaned children. They also produce freshly squeezed juices from their organic spinach and other vegetables. She is indeed Our Shero.
