From the first moments of Sarah’s album Current, you know that you are hearing something that stands apart. Yes, her music nestles in comfortably within our acceptable parameters of pop music, but the contents are of a completely different color. Sarah is a woman not making worship music, but music that is worshipful, that is indicative of a worshipful life. All of this is true.
After more than a decade of relentless touring, where the duo played everywhere from the college circuit to worship arenas to far-flung places, Shane & Shane have shifted the focus of their ministry. A comprehensive typological approach to most of the messianic Psalms can be found in Richard Belcher’s The Messiah and the Psalms.

When reading the Gospel of Mark, have you ever found that he interrupted himself mid-story to tell a different one? If so, you have tasted what’s known as a Markan Sandwich, also known as intercalation.
Any good commentary should point these out and explain their significance, but here is a good academic article on the subject.
