Rev. Dr. Darryl Soal discusses the significance of God’s message to Zechariah from Luke 1:5-25, marking a pivotal moment after 400 years of divine silence. He emphasises the importance of theological education for effective ministry and encourages prayer for the next generation of church leaders.
At our first Sibling service, we hear from Pastor Bafana about the Beauty of the Gospel, how it unites believers, regardless of social status, and encourages shared generosity and partnership in faith. We also see how Gospel partnership unites believers from all races, genders, and social backgrounds, creating a unified body of Christ focused on serving and loving others.

The Scriptures manifest themselves to be the Word of God: by their majesty and purity; by the consent of all the parts, and the scope of the whole, which is to give all glory to God; by their light and power to convince and convert sinners, to comfort and build up believers unto salvation: but the Spirit of God bearing witness by and with the Scriptures in the heart of man, is alone able fully to persuade it that they are the very Word of God.
Without the death and resurrection of Jesus there is no gospel, there is no salvation and forgiveness of sin, there is no redemption for man outside of Christ. Unless the truth of the Gospel is evident in a Gospel Culture, the witness of the church will lack power and tend towards either hypocrisy (where there is sound doctrine but no cultural transformation) or fragility (where there is cultural transformation but no doctrinal foundation).
Gospel Culture is when our doctrinal faith becomes evident in the way we live.
