30 years ago while sitting at a desk as a phone receptionist Lisa Dritschler never thought she would be the President of a home building company in 2018. After all, everyone around her was very male and very dominating. The building industry in Texas was the wild wild west of the business world, smoky back room deals, good ol boy networks, and shady bankers made the headlines, but there was light at the end of the long twisted tunnel. Lisa was lucky, she worked for men she admired and respected, men that were willing to teach her and mentor her. So she moved through the system learning about financing, developing, and building. She survived housing booms and busts, got married had kids and raised a family. Along the way Lisa learned many things about life, business, being a mom, being a wife and respecting the people around her.
