Restore Church

WE EXIST TO ELEVATE JESUS AND HIS POWER TO RESTORE.

We see in the Bible that a restored life begins with a restored relationship with God. That’s why Jesus came and that is our mission as church. We’re passionate about seeing lives restored, one relationship at a time, where individuals who are living far from God come home to Him and discover the amazing plans He has for their lives.

A Life-Giving Church | We believe Restore Church is a place of empowerment, where individuals and families are enabled to grow strong and flourish in life. We value authentic worship, relevant and practical Bible-based teaching, and the positive change that takes place beyond Sunday morning as we develop honest friendships and share life through community.

A Missions-Driven Church | We believe that our church is a movement and that we are a part of something much bigger than ourselves. We are passionate about sharing the message of Jesus that has powerfully impacted our own lives and we are uniting together on a mission to serve our generation and to bring the life-changing message of Jesus to our city, our nation and the world.

A Generous Church
 | We believe that our church is here to be a blessing and we want to add value to our community by reaching out with compassion to those who are in need. We love our City and the people in it and we’re committed to using the resources God has given us to serve and bless our community and the organizations that are making a difference in our area.

Following Jesus isn’t just a one-time yes; it’s a daily yes. Jesus said, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23–24 NKJV). Every day brings new opportunities to surrender our will, trust His Word, follow His leading, and choose His way over our own.

Wherever God has planted you in this season, let your answer to Him be yes. Yes to His Word. Yes to His Spirit. Yes to His will. Yes to growing, changing, and becoming more like Jesus. When we say yes to Him, we are also saying no to anything that would pull us away from Him. A fruitful life is built on a daily surrender: “Yes, Lord. Wherever You lead, whatever You ask, my answer will be yes.”

Hard seasons don’t have to produce hard hearts. Every season of difficulty presents us with a choice: to become bitter or to become better, to resist God or draw closer to Him. Our Heavenly Father calls us to keep our hearts tender, our ears open to His voice, and our lives responsive to His Word, even when He corrects us.

Hosea 10:12 reminds us to “break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the LORD.” As we seek Him, He softens the hardened places in our hearts so His Word can take root and produce lasting fruit.

Don’t allow difficult seasons to harden your heart. Instead, keep seeking Him, stay teachable, and trust that He is preparing you for everything He has ahead. As you stay tenderhearted, you will find His mercy and grace to bloom right where you’re planted!

We are all stewards of what God has entrusted to us: our time, gifts, calling, relationships, opportunities, finances, health, words, thoughts, and spiritual lives. A wise and faithful steward values where they are and what they have in their hands. Rather than trying to escape our present season, we should ask, “What am I doing with what God has given me?” Faithfulness begins by recognizing that nothing God entrusts to us is insignificant.

“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” - Zechariah 4:10 NLT

God rejoiced when He saw the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand because it represented obedience, progress, and faithful stewardship. The work was not finished, but Zerubbabel had begun using what was in his hand. Do

not look down on your current season, assignment, or opportunity because it seems small. Value where God has planted you, faithfully steward what He has given you, and trust Him to bring the work to completion!

No matter what season you’re in, God is still at work!

“I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].” - Philippians 1:6 AMPC

Time is one of God’s greatest gifts. Every season has a purpose, and every season is an opportunity to grow. Rather than wishing for a different season, God calls us to make the most of the one we’re in, trusting that He is faithfully accomplishing His work in us as we bloom where we’re planted.

Three keys to being fruitful in your current season:

  1. Stir Up the Gift That’s in You

Don’t allow the gifts God has placed within you to remain dormant. Stir up your gifts and choose to be on fire!

  1. Remember Your Calling

Your circumstances may change, but God’s calling on your life remains. Stay faithful where you are, trusting that He is preparing you for what’s ahead.

  1. Choose to Magnify God

In Psalm 34, David declared, “Oh, magnify the Lord with me,” while he was running for his life. He chose to make God bigger than his circumstances. As we magnify the Lord, our perspective changes, our faith grows, and we become fruitful, even in hard seasons.

Wherever God has planted you, make the most of this season. Trust that He is at work in you, growing your faith, shaping your character, and preparing you for what’s ahead!

This weekend, our longtime friend, Pastor Chris Romine, traveled all the way from Kentucky to deliver a powerful message on the Holy Spirit.

“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” – John 14:15-18

May we continue to fellowship with and partner with the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to guide not only our daily decisions but also our new lives in Christ!

Freedom Foundations | A Legacy of Faith and Freedom

“We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about his power and his mighty wonders… So each generation should set its hope anew on God.”

— Psalm 78:4, 7 (NLT)

This Independence Day weekend, we celebrated the freedoms we enjoy as Americans while remembering that true and lasting freedom is found only in Jesus Christ. He sets us free from sin, shame, fear, and the bondage of our past, giving us new life and a living hope.

Throughout Scripture, God reveals Himself as our Deliverer, breaking chains, opening doors, and leading His people into freedom. As followers of Christ, we are called to stand firm in the liberty He has given us, never take His blessings for granted, and faithfully pass our faith and hope on to the next generation.

May we continue to build our lives on the foundation of God’s truth, treasure the freedom we have in Christ, and leave a legacy that points others to Him!

This week we continued our Blessed Roots series by looking at the life changing power of God's Word. Just as a tree depends on a constant source of water to grow strong and healthy, we are called to sink our roots deep into the living water of God's Word. As we trust Him, receive His truth, and walk in obedience, His Word refreshes our souls, strengthens our faith, and produces lasting fruit in every season of life.

Psalm 1:1-3 NKJV - Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

The invitation is simple: stay planted by the rivers of God's Word. Continue receiving it with humility, delighting in it daily, and putting it into practice. Those whose roots remain in His living water will continue to grow in trust, love, contentment, and fruitfulness through every season of life.

This week, we looked at the foundational truth of living rooted and grounded in the love of our Heavenly Father. Just as healthy roots provide strength, stability, and nourishment for a tree, God’s love is the foundation that sustains and strengthens our lives. His love is wider, longer, deeper, and higher than we have yet experienced, and He is continually inviting us to discover more. The more deeply we are rooted in His love, the stronger we become, the more resilient we are in difficult seasons, and the more fruit we are able to produce for His glory.

Ephesians 3:17-19 NKJV - that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what [is] the width and length and depth and height– to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

God never intended for us to simply know about His love. He wants us to live in it, draw from it, and be transformed by it. When we allow our roots to go deep into His love, fear loses its grip, insecurity gives way to confidence, and weariness is replaced with strength. No matter what season you are facing, His love remains constant, sufficient, and available. This week, take time to receive the Father’s love afresh. Spend time in His presence, meditate on His promises, and allow Him to reveal new dimensions of His heart toward you.

LIVING IN GOD’S SHADOW - BLESSED ROOTS | PART 3

“My people will again live under my shade. They will flourish like grain and blossom like grapevines. They will be as fragrant as the wines of Lebanon.”

— Hosea 14:7

Living in God’s shadow means choosing to stay close to Him and allowing His presence to shape every area of our lives, our character, health, family, work, and finances. It is a daily decision to remain near Him, especially during difficult seasons.

When we live under God’s shadow, we experience the peace, joy, provision, protection, and security that only He can provide. But how do we live under God’s shadow?

In this message, Pastor Jordan Gash shares five biblical ways we can remain close to God every day and flourish under the influence of His presence.

When we place our trust in God, we connect ourselves to the endless supply He provides for our lives. As we draw from Him, we find peace, contentment, strength, and stability, not in ourselves or in the things of this world, but in His presence and provision.

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river.” – Jeremiah 17:7–8

This happens as we return to the Lord with all our heart and place our trust and hope in Him, the Fountain of Living Waters. As we stay rooted in Him, His life flows into every area of our lives, producing growth, fruitfulness, and flourishing.

Keep trusting. Keep drawing near. Keep flourishing in this season.

Healthy things grow. The same is true in our spiritual lives. When we focus on developing healthy roots in Christ, growth and fruitfulness will follow. God desires for us to mature, become strong, and bear fruit that makes a difference.

“Even so, every healthy (sound) tree bears good fruit [worthy of admiration].” — Matthew 7:17 AMPC

As we become rooted in who we are in Christ and grounded in His love, He brings growth, transformation, and fruitfulness that impacts every area of our lives. Healthy roots produce healthy fruit!

Where generational change begins!

If there’s going to be a change in our world, land, nation, church, and homes, it must first begin in our hearts.

This is our call to rededicate ourselves to personal righteousness, prayer, and humility before God’s Word.

We believe God is awakening our generation and preparing us for everything He has planned. Now, we must respond!

A message to both men and women. It is time for a generation of Christ followers to arise and shine with courageous faith! In a world filled with compromise and darkness, God is calling His people to stand strong in righteousness, bold in conviction, and full of the Spirit.

This Mother’s Day, we reflected on women of faith like Lois and Eunice, whose sincere faith impacted the next generation for Jesus. Like them, women today are called to be victory bringers, women of courage, prayer, strength, and spiritual influence. Whether you are a mom, wife, daughter, or spiritual mother, God can use your life to help shape generations for His glory.

Men, this is your calling as well. Rise up and lead with courage. Love, bless, and build your families. Stand strong spiritually and help cultivate homes where faith can flourish and the next generation can encounter Jesus.

Together, let us arise in courageous faith, shine brightly for Christ, and impact this generation with the hope, truth, and victory found in Him!

Let’s make a difference together.

In an immoral world, moral courage is essential for spiritual growth. In 2 Chronicles 34, we see how King Josiah made a lasting impact through moral courage. He did not follow the patterns of his family history. He chose to follow the Word of God.

Because of that choice, generational patterns were broken, and a new legacy began.

Our Heavenly Father is calling us to rise, grow strong, and walk in courage, not only for our own lives, but so we can help restore others and influence the next generation.

From prophecy to destiny.

From dream to reality.

From promise to fulfillment.

What happens in the middle?

Along the way, we will face the pressure of discouragement, but we must choose courage.

Discouragement can come through failure, setbacks, and circumstances. But it can also come in the process of doing what is right and good.

So keep reaching. Keep growing. Develop your character. Overcome temptation. Keep pressing forward!

Like 1 Samuel 30, when David faced overwhelming pressure, he encouraged himself in the Lord his God. You can do the same.

Find courage in the promises of God’s Word and be strengthened in His presence. Overcome the discouragement and you will reach the finish!

Failure is not final. Take courage and get up!

“The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again.” — Proverbs 24:16 NLT

Getting up does not happen when everything around you changes. It happens when you do.

So be strong and determined. Take courage in God’s promises of restoration. This is the shift that moves you forward into restored life, restored years, renewed strength, and God’s purpose for you, all through faith in Him and what He says about you.

There is no promise He has spoken that lacks the power to be fulfilled. What He has said in His Word, and what He has spoken over your life, will come to pass as you hold onto it in faith.

So take courage. Stand firm. Move forward in faith. All of His promises are yes and amen!

Since the garden, shame has caused humanity to hide, withdraw, and lose confidence. Through Jesus, we find freedom from shame, righteousness, and a restored identity.

Through our faith in Christ, we have been empowered to stand before God without shame, to walk confidently in our calling, and to stand firm against the enemy.

This is who we are: a bold generation called to valor.

This world is filled with fear, anxiety, and brokenness, but we are not called to blend in. We are called to rise up!

Like Gideon, we are the remnant: called out, set apart, marked by faith and valor.

We are not prisoners of fear. We are people of purpose. This is the moment to step out of captivity and walk in courage.

What does that look like?

  1. Make the decision to leave the prison of fear and doubt

  2. Realize and embrace your redeemed identity in Christ

  3. Be strong in the grace that is in Christ

This is our generation. This is our time to live by faith and to be the people of valor we are called to be.

Who is your first love? First love is not merely the love we had at the beginning – it is the love that always belongs in the first place. Jesus is not asking to be one of the many things we love. He is asking to be the One we love first.

As believers, this is the least we can do. He is the One who loved us first. He is the One who loved us from the beginning. He is the One who loves us most.

“Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”– Romans 5:5–10 NKJV

A message of encouragement and instruction: Jesus is coming. One day we will stand before Him, and those who have faithfully followed the Lord will receive an eternal reward.

On that day, His acknowledgment of your life and works will be the only judgment that truly matters. Not the opinions of friends and not the approval of family, but His.

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.” - Revelation 22:12–14 NKJV

What should we do until that day? Keep running the race with focus and purpose as we prepare for the Lord’s return.

  1. Keep your eyes on Him.

  2. Keep your affections on things above.

  3. Keep your heart with all diligence.

  4. Keep yourself in the love of God.

  5. Keep on keeping on.

When pressure comes, we press in! No matter how tough it may feel, when we choose to press in, we experience God’s power, we are refined, and we are transformed, moving from glory to glory.

“I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.” - Philippians 3:14-15 NKJV

Three ways we keep going in times of pressure:

1.Press in through prayer

  1. Prioritize being in God’s presence

  2. Practice a life of praise

Scripture shows us that moments of opposition are often the moments when prayer becomes most necessary and most powerful. In Nehemiah’s day, the people rebuilt the wall while surrounded by resistance, working with

one hand and holding a weapon in the other, staying alert, prayerful, and dependent on God. The pressure did not stop the work. It drove them deeper into reliance on the Lord.

Jesus modeled this same response in Luke 22. In the greatest moment of pressure He had ever faced, He withdrew to pray. The intensity did not cause Him to retreat. It caused Him to press in. And in that place of

prayer, He committed Himself to the will of the Father and found new strength. Though the trial remained, He rose strengthened, resolved, and ready to walk forward in obedience.

Don’t stop halfway.

Don’t quit under pressure.

Press in, and keep going!

New Ground. New Territory. New Growth.

God is calling His people to go higher into new spiritual ground they have never walked in before. Like pioneers, we are invited to leave what is familiar and press forward into the work God is still completing in us (Philippians 1:6). This journey requires faith, courage, and perseverance, but it leads to greater freedom, fruitfulness, and joy in Christ.

As we embrace the following seven higher ways to walk, we can move like pioneers into unfamiliar spiritual territory, and overcome the lower things that once defined us.

1.By faith (2 Corinthians 5:7; Hebrews 11:6)

  1. In love (Ephesians 5:1–2; John 13:34–35)

  2. In newness of life (Romans 6:4; 2 Corinthians 5:17)

  3. In the Spirit (Galatians 5:16, 19–25)

  4. As He walked (1 John 2:6; Colossians 2:6–7)

  5. In the light (1 John 1:5–7; Ephesians 5:8–11)

7.In the truth (3 John 1:2–4; John 8:31-32)

"One day David asked, “Is anyone in Saul’s family still alive—anyone to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” 2 He summoned a man named Ziba, who had been one of Saul’s servants. “Are you Ziba?” the king asked. “Yes sir, I am,” Ziba replied. The king then asked him, “Is anyone still alive from Saul’s family? If so, I want to show God’s kindness to them.” Ziba replied, “Yes, one of Jonathan’s sons is still alive. He is crippled in both feet.” “Where is he?” the king asked. “In Lo-debar,” Ziba told him, “at the home of Makir son of Ammiel.” So David sent for him and brought him from Makir’s home. His name was Mephibosheth; he was Jonathan’s son and Saul’s grandson. When he came to David, he bowed low to the ground in deep respect. David said, “Greetings, Mephibosheth.” Mephibosheth replied, “I am your servant.” “Don’t be afraid!” David said. “I intend to show kindness to you because of my promise to your father, Jonathan. I will give you all the property that once belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will eat here with me at the king’s table!” Mephibosheth bowed respectfully and exclaimed, “Who is your servant, that you should show such kindness to a dead dog like me?” Then the king summoned Saul’s servant Ziba and said, “I have given your master’s grandson everything that belonged to Saul and his family. You and your sons and servants are to farm the land for him to produce food for your master’s household. But Mephibosheth, your master’s grandson, will eat here at my table.” (Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.) Ziba replied, “Yes, my lord the king; I am your servant, and I will do all that you have commanded.” And from that time on, Mephibosheth ate regularly at David’s table, like one of the king’s own sons." - 2 Samuel 9:1-11 NLT

"This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness." - Ephesians 4:17-24 NKJV

"Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I was compelled to write to you [urgently] appealing that you fight strenuously for [the defense of] the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints [the faith that is the sum of Christian belief that was given verbally to believers]. For certain people have crept in unnoticed [just as if they were sneaking in by a side door]. They are ungodly persons whose condemnation was predicted long ago, for they distort the grace of our God into decadence and immoral freedom [viewing it as an opportunity to do whatever they want], and deny and disown our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ." - Jude 1:3-4 AMP

"But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit." - Jude 1:17-20 NKJV

"For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit. 6 Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. Romans 8:31-35, 37 NKJV - [31] What then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [can be] against us? [32] He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? [33] Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? [It is] God who justifies. [34] Who [is] he who condemns? [It is] Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. [35] Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?… [37] Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

7 Things That Happen as We Renovate Our Thinking:

  1. WE RISE ABOVE CONFORMITY TO DO HIS WILL

Romans 12:1-2 NKJV - 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what [is] that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

  1. WE OVERCOME THE POWER OF THE FLESH

Romans 8:5-6 AMPC - 5 For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit. 6 Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].

  1. WE GROW SPIRITUALLY

1 Peter 2:1-3 KJV - 1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord [is] gracious.

  1. WE ACCESS THE POWER OF WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST

Ephesians 4:21-24 NKJV - 21 if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

  1. WE BECOME MORE LIKE JESUS

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 AMPC - 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom). 18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

  1. WE BECOME PEOPLE OF GODLY CHARACTER

Hebrews 1:9 AMPC - 9 You have loved righteousness [You have delighted in integrity, virtue, and uprightness in purpose, thought, and action] and You have hated lawlessness (injustice and iniquity). Therefore God, [even] Your God ([a]Godhead), has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions.

  1. WE BUILD OUR LIVES ON THE ROCK

James 1:19-25 NKJV - 19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. 21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness (moral defilement) and overflow of wickedness (evil, malice, ill-will, desire to injure, wickedness not ashamed to break laws, a vicious disposition), and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Psalm 86:4-5 KJV - 4 Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. 5 For thou, Lord, [art] good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

THE SHIELD OF FAITH Ephesians 6:16 KJV - 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

5 Important Faith Keys:

1 - Faith = Trusting in God

2 Timothy 1:12 NKJV - 12 For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.

2 - Faith Pleases God

Hebrews 11:6 NKJV - 6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [Him], for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and [that] He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

3 - Faith Accesses God’s Grace

Romans 4:16 KJV - 16 Therefore [it is] of faith, that [it might be] by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

4 - Faith Is a Lifestyle

Hebrews 10:38 KJV - 38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if [any man] draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

5 - Real Faith Has Corresponding Actions

James 2:17 AMP - 17 So too, faith, if it does not have works [to back it up], is by itself dead [inoperative and ineffective].

7 Ways We Tap Into God’s Power :

1 - Through Our Humility

James 4:6-7, 10 KJV - But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisters the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you...Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

3 - Through Our Prayers

4 - Through Our Praise

Hebrews 13:15 KJV - By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

5 - Through Our Thoughts

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into the captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Philemon 3-6 KJV - Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; The the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

6 - Through Our Words

Proverbs 18:20-21 AMPC - A man's [moral] self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth; and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [whether good or evil]. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [ for death or life].

7 - Through Our Actions

I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. - Psalm 16:8 NIV

RUNNING INTO 2022 WITH 5 FOUNDATIONAL TRUTHS

No matter what I face in 2022, I know that:

  1. MY FATHER ALWAYS LOVES ME 1 John 4:16-19 NKJV - 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19 We love Him because He first loved us.

  2. MY FATHER IS ALWAYS FOR ME Romans 8:28-32 NKJV - 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to [His] purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined [to be] conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [can be] against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

  3. MY FATHER IS ALWAYS WITH ME Matthew 28:20 KJV - 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. Psalm 23:4 NKJV - 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You [are] with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

  4. MY FATHER’S SPIRIT IS ALWAYS WITHIN ME Philippians 2:12-13 AMPC - 12 Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ). 13 [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while [a]effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and [b]delight. Galatians 5:22-23 AMPC - 22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, 23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].

  5. WE ARE ALWAYS WELL ABLE TO OVERCOME Numbers 13:30 AMPC - 30 Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once and possess it; we are well able to conquer it. 2 Corinthians 12:10 AMPC - 10 So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [[a]in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful [b]in divine strength).

7 THINGS TO SAY:

I WILL SAY | #1 - THE LORD IS MY HELPER AND I WILL NOT FEAR * Hebrews 13:5-6 NKJV - 5 [Let your] conduct [be] without covetousness; [be] content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." 6 So we may boldly say: "The LORD [is] my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"

I WILL SAY | #2 - THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD AND I SHALL NOT WANT * Psalm 23:1 NKJV - 1 The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want. (LACK OR DECREASE)

I WILL SAY | #3 - I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME * Philippians 4:11-13 NKJV - 11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I WILL SAY | #4 - GOD (EL SHADDAI) IS MY REFUGE AND MY FORTRESS * Psalm 91:1-2, 14-16 NKJV - 1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (EL SHADDAI) 2 I will say of the LORD, "[He is] my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."

I WILL SAY | #5 - GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE ALL GRACE ABOUND TOWARDS ME * 2 Corinthians 9:7-11 KJV - 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for [your] food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.

I WILL SAY | #6 - MY GOD SHALL SUPPLY ALL OF OUR NEEDS * Philippians 4:14-20 NKJV - 14 Nevertheless you have done well that you shared in my distress. 15 Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. 16 For even in Thessalonica you sent [aid] once and again for my necessities. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account. 18 Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things [sent] from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father [be] glory forever and ever. Amen.

I WILL SAY | #7 - WE WILL HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH * Psalm 37:19 NLT - They will not be disgraced in hard times; even in famine they will have more than enough.

A Restored Way of Life

Galatians 6:15-16 AMPC For neither is circumcision now of any importance, nor uncircumcision, but only a new creation the result of a new birth and a new nature in Christ Jesus, the Messiah. [16] Peace and mercy be upon all who walk by this rule who discipline themselves and regulate their lives by this principle, even upon the true Israel of God!

7 Ways to Walk Now that You're a New Creation:

1 - Walk by Faith

2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV - (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

2 - Walk in Love

Ephesians 5:2 KJV - And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

3 - Walk in the Newness of Life

Romans 6:4 KJV - Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

4 - Walk in the Spirit

Galatians 5:16 KJV - This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

5 - Walk Even as He Walked

1 John 2:6 KJV - He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

6 - Walk in the Light

1 John 1:7 KJV - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

7 - Walk in the Truth

3 John 1:1-4 KJV - The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
