It's been 18-months since Isaac last chatted with Connor. At that time, Connor was in the middle of summer track gearing up to run the 5,000m at the Canadian Olympic Trials; he finished in third but did not qualify for the Tokyo Olympics. Fast forward, Connor claimed gold at the Canadian Cross Country Championships in November, finishing ahead of multiple Olympians in the process.

Isaac chats with 2021 Canadian XC Bronze medalist and the NEW Canadian record holder in the Indoor Mile, Cameron "Dr. P" Proceviat (Burnaby, BC). Cameron ran 3:52.54 in the Mile on February 27th, 2022, which bested local legend and 3x Olympian Nate Brannen (Cambridge, ON), who held the record in a time of 3:54.32. Cameron's 1500m split from the race qualified him to compete for Team Canada (his first time) at the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade, Serbia,  March 18th - 20th, where he competed in the 1500m.

Isaac Lance catches up with Bandits Elite (London, ON) teammates, Mike Tate and Connor Black! The two are currently in quarantine as they recently, and safely, traveled to the United States together where they both competed in three races. Mike left the trip with a new personal best time in the 1,500m (3:41.22), and a 5,000m time that ranks him 6th in Canada this year (13:35.96). Connor made his much anticipated return to the (Outdoor) track, and ran a 5,000m time that ranks him 14th in Canada this year (13:56.79). They will both race the 5,000m at Olympic Trials in Montreal, Quebec, on June 24th - 27th, where they hope to climb the rankings further. Ben Flanagan is back on the podcast! Ben has been up to a lot since Isaac last caught up with him (Episode 1) in June of 2020, including a half-marathon debut (December, 2020) in a blazing fast time of 1:03:19, which put him 10th all-time amongst Canadians. Most recently, Ben ran six seconds off of his personal best in the 5,000m, with his 13:44.87 performance at the Trials of Miles x Citius Mag Texas Qualifier track meet (February, 2021) in Austin, Texas.  Ben is on the "outside looking in" in terms of the qualifying for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, making him one to watch in upcoming races!
