MAMA, this is time and space for you!
Mindfulness and meditation are talked about so much nowadays, and I wanted to ensure there was a way that you can incorporate it into your life as a busy mum. Each week I'm going to be bringing you mindfulness tips for your everyday, meditations that are easy to incorporate into your life, AND we are going to have some amazing special guests to come on and talk about a huge range of topics and parenthood. This space is supportive, empowering honest and real, as well as being calm, relaxing, fun and inspiring. I’m so happy that you are here.
Trigger warning: discussion of postnatal depression and anxiety and sharing of personal experience.
Today on The MamaKind Club we have Dr Caroline Boyd, Chartered Clinical Psychologist and mama to two. We hope that this conversation is honest, informative and raises awareness and ultimately means that no one feels alone.
If you have an overwhelming sense of wanting or intending to hurt yourself or your baby, it’s essential you seek help immediately by calling emergency health services (in the UK, call 999 or visit A&E).
Dr Boyd has a help-seeking highlight on her page, and website too.
